Need advice from /biz/nons about raising a small seed round ($5k) for a weird board-game + crypto hybrid project. I have been building a hobby project for some time, a game, and I need to make a real MVP (UI work + backend integration). Just enough to build something playable. The problem is that I dont know where people usually find micro investors for small crypto projects. I need at most 1-3 private investors to kick things off and move onto the next development milestone. Where do anons usually pitch tiny early-stage projects like this?Any pointers appreciated.

Dont go overboard in explaining the mechanics or how the game works too much because that ruins the illusion.

i needed $5k to finish a new chicken coop. I tried gofundme, and applying for a grant, nothing. i got a job instead should be able to finish it off in 3 months with the extra income..
Been messing with this game idea for 2+ years now. Made a bunch of assets, the website is running, wp in place, kept refining it. I tried doing the whole ''proper ICO with 3 rounds'' thing. But the market is dead and nobody cares unless you're already pumping. Pinksale didnt do its thing either. So yeah, fundraising failed everywhere, but I didnt quit. I just kept improving the concept and figuring out how to actually make it good. Right now I am working on a proper MVP prototype - something solid that the rest of the game can be built on. Instead of trying to raise some huge amount all at once, I am switching to a micro-investment, milestone by milestone setup. Small goal, build the next thing, repeat. I have got time, patience, and a small community that's been sticking around, so I'll keep pushing. I will make community and social media update posts about the MVP Build Fund that I need, maybe $5k is not so out of reach and that will put things into a solid motion.
