They are 100% going to start a war and it can’t be a gay little shitfight with Iran either. They need a giant slaughterhouse meat grinder with China to try and cover up this unholy shitstorm that is coming across the horizon. When China inevitably wins, I hope thy do the needful holobunga and permanently solve the problem so that the world can begin to heal from the evil that was unleashed upon it.

I don't know how that will work. China can't do force projection and the US military can only last one round in a fight.

Yemen kicked the US Navy's ass. Imagine if China launched a few thousand missiles/drones at a carrier.

European leaders are so delustional that Russia could clap them into the stone age WITHOUT using nukes.

Most of the western EU, the USA and Canada are on the verge of civil war. Even moreso for the USA when the dems take control after the mid-terms.

There will never be an all-out confrontation between the US and China, just like there never was an all-out confrontation between the US and the USSR.

All leaders of top dog nations have a tacit understanding that this level of escalation would lead to the end of the human race.

WWII was the last large scale confrontation we will ever experience.

It is all preplanned. Every central bank owns every government. Every government works for the central bank. Government leaders are just actors... bad actors at that. In the US it won't be a hot war but more like massive civil unrest. Like really bad and even in most neighborhoods people will be begging and others will be looting. But at the end of the day the US will come out scarred with loss of stabdard of living and draconian security. The police that already have qualified immunity will become even more powerful and corrupt. You can expect a lot of people to go from hating the government and its workers to small revolts that cause black and brown outs. Think Hurricane Katrina aftermath for most of the country.

I don't know much about the EU but while I was there I did notice how corrupt governments were and how you couldn't even call your own politicians fat retarded communists or central bank bootliciers. Literally owning a shotgun in the UK without a permit is like 5 years in limey prison. In the US at least those who prepared can defend themselves but the connectedness from europe to africa makes things way worse. How many somalians are in Sweden and Scandinavia? Pakis in the UK? Jihadists in France? Turks in Germany? It's fucked. But they need people to be busy and distracted fighting each other rather than the government. Same goes for the US.

As for China... in an all out war they would decimate the US Navy but they would destroy their own navy in the process. China will always be a regional super power even with a lower population. It All comes down to chicken swingers keeping their power while culling the population.

Their domestic flagged vessels are all merchant marine rated. Those BYD super car carriers have decks rated to hold tanks type of stuff. They are making hypersonics for 100k a pop now, can just load up civvy fleets with them, escort with military vessels, flatten enemy bases then roll out the tanks and troops. Whether they could stage a land invasion of the US is doubtful but they could absolutely just stand off the coasts and throw infinite missiles at whatever targets they want to until the US consneeds, although I’m sure the jew demons in charge will sperg out and launch nukes well before that.
>>

I don't think China has global aspirations, aside from colonizing Africa once the west has been sufficiently weakened.

>>
>>61496018
I'm aware. But the point I'm making is after a hit war with the US a lot of those dozens of shipyards would be obliterated, their deep sea ports leveled and their navy sunk. The US would also have their shipyards turned to splintered metal and China would outpace recovery, but both would be for a long time out of commission for naval empire tier. Japan, South Korea, many of the host asian countries that oppose China will also take aim at Chinese infrastructure. Mutually assured destruction.

Norks are the ones to look out for. If the US is sidelined for a few years South Korea very well could fall. They may be outdated in wartime capabilities but they have enough men to throw into the southern peninsula

>I can't speak for every rich person in the world, but in my area boomers have the money, and boomers I know have houses, gold, silver, and guns. They don't go on 4chan but if gold and silver ever become the sole currency they're going to be wealthier than anyone here because they can afford to casually drop hundreds of thousands of dollars into metals.

Sorry to reply three days later. I had the same thought as you as the same is true for my area. However, my mother stopped by the LCS a week ago and reported that when she walked in the proprietor actually sighed and said "Let me guess, you're selling." She told him no, actually, (there to slurp junk at melt) and they talked for a while. Evidently the boomer and gen-x crowd had been selling so vigorously that they were nearly out of checks and hoping that the new ones would show up before they ran completely out, multiple single transaction sales in excess of $100,000, in aggregate millions of dollars of bullion sold in just a few weeks. For context my area has 80,000 people, this is one of 2 coin/bullion stores - the second reports the same thing.

So, specifically the boomer and gen-x crowd are cashing out en masse right now because they generally don't comprehend inflation and, to them, this is the ATH to end the precious metals ATH's. The joke about boomers with PM's cashing in to buy some toys and cruises is, in fact, not a joke. They could have dumb-lucked their way into this the way they did everything, but most of them will not. This also means the aggregate amount of PM's in non-institutional hands is decreasing tremendously thanks to the eternal boomer. Not FUD, but I thought it was valuable to note.

I was looking into this. the only way is to do a density test or XRF scan, or if you have a good ear the ping test. I was shocked to find out the switcharoo they did in 67, the RCM are real cocksuckers to not even include a distinguishing mark.

Just be patient. You'll see more nominal fiat gains, and the broader picture will get worse. Despite the doomsayers, real estate will come down in terms of cost:purchasing power. That said, now and near future is absolutely NOT the time to be buying multiple properties as investment. Rule of law is not guaranteed, there is likely to be a period of you own what you hold, and you can't hold a property you're not on.

Um, anon...
Literally only maybe some beater car from some old guy who just doesn't want to work on it is the only undervalued asset, and actually it's not because you'll get raped by insurance anyway.
The only actually undervalued assets I've found are electronic keyboards and wool clothing at estate sales.

But for a good look at what could POTENTIALLY be "undervalued" in the future look for what people who have no disposable income do to make ends meet, buy that stuff that lets you do that.

If you want real estate advice maybe try youtube. Our thesis for gold and silver hasn't changed. The macro environment is still fucked and bullish for precious metals. The "historical crashes" you mentioned have explanations, and the shit they pulled before doesn't work anymore. So if you got weak hands and actually do own silver then be my guest and sell. I agree 100%. My thesis is that it is highly unlikely that China and USA will go toe to toe in a kinetic war. Each side has a different weakness which is exploited by the other's relative strength.

China cannot force project to attack USA. China has a formidable coastal missile defence that can wipe out carrier groups operating on the periphery.

Anything that China does to America has to be unconventional warfare.

Don't worry, Trump's allowing 600k more Chinese students. I'm sure none of them are PLA.

If you're looking for an investment asset, there isn't one. The market is cooked. There's no gov bonds worth a shit, corporate bonds are all fucked, all packaged loan securities are fucked, I already covered real estate, collectible memorabilia will, at best, hold value in the LONG term IF it's a category sought after by the truly wealthy (not wealthy boomers). The PM's still have a lot of travel left and are the safest of all the available. I won't deign to categorize crypto as an investment when it is clearly a 24/7 liquidity pool to keep the financial institutions liquid.

Non-investment: you should have one year of food, water security, and physical security in hand. If not now, then tomorrow. It doesn't cost much at all relative to your PM pool.

I'd like to pick up some real estate. But now is not the time. I'm holding precious metals for the debt/currency crisis that is brewing. Could silver dip from here? Sure, prices don't go in one direction forever. But I'm not worried about a repeat of 1980 or 2011 because any artificial crash like that again would get bought up immediately by the Chinese, Indians, and Saudis. There is a shortage in physical silver and it will be years until supply is normalized.

Most normies don't know this. Most boomers don't realize their property becomes illiquid in a crash. Their 401k drops to zero or becomes illiquid. Same for their bank accounts.

They sell a huge amount of paper shorts. They used to be able to trigger an avalanche of sales when they did this, so they could cover their shorts at the bottom.

Today, when they crash the price, instead of causing people to sell, people buy the dip and raise the price, preventing the shorts from buying cheaply.

There are over a billion oz shorts right now.

By this point, I'm stacking for weight, and spot would've risen up to the point where I'll probably end up having to pay more if I were to wait for 2 weeks for payday vs just eating the sale taxes now (the below premium prices helps to mitigate this).

Double checked the state's tax rules and learnt the threshold will be removed in future (in 2027, but hey, can't complain). Poor Washington anon, hope you managed to secure a decent stack.

Checked. I'd argue that a bunch of inflation has been understated which skews this chart. In the short term, housing may fall due to a liquidity crunch, but the real replacement cost of a home (unless regs change countrywide) will most likely be higher than the prices today with somehow shittier material and even more shoddy work.

>macroeconomics 115+
Setting aside the reality of fiat and hyperinflation, what's occurring on the macro scale is not very complicated at the moment, it's simply a scramble for resources by the world's nations. That's it, thats all it is, profiting off of this reality is simple, own physical precious metals.

I don't think its a lack of IQ points that limits peoples ability to comprehend this reality, for most people its sheer laziness and a lack of curiosity coupled with an inability to question "le experts".

Macro becomes more complex when you start looking at higher order effects that may not be linear. Higher unemployment rates are directly correlated with higher suicide/death rates would be one example of a second derivative.

The world we are heading into is a once in a multi century/multi generation crisis that may turn into an evolutionary bottleneck.

I can almost guarantee that there will be major ethnic cleansing in many parts of the world. The white people who survive this evolutionary bottleneck will be completely different in attitude to the white people of today.

I often find the more inferences you attempt to draw and the further into the the future your predictive model reaches, the more likely it is you enter into catastrophic error. My philosphy is to keep it simple; over complexity and number crunching are midwit traps that lead you down false paths.

Nation states intentions as actors are opaque; I can't know the designs of the CCP, but I can take note of their maneuvers and positioning to draw some simple big picture conclusions.

I agree with your point on second order effects, but be careful how much faith you place in your calculations, don't base your plan of action on distal outcomes.

Non-linearity is inherent in meta-macro change. Linear extrapolation from 1910 forward would be completely wrong. Most people don't factor geopolitical into the macro economics. It's not just about the interest rate or the M2 number.

Linear extrapolation from 1935 would also have been completely wrong, and yet a few people could see clearly that the world was headed for war.

Similarly, I believe that linear extrapolation from 2025-2035 will completely miss what's actually going to happen.

We, as a society, are on a path that is ultimately untenable, and it doesn't require detailed understanding of macro economics, just simple arithmetic. The US debt is >130% of GDP. No country has ever come back from those numbers without currency devaluation/default/restructuring.

Every month, another 10,000 boomers roll onto the medicare gravy train, for their hip and knee replacements, their dialysis, their coronary bypasses. Net present value for Uncle Sam's unfunded liabilities are somewhere between $100-$200 trillion. This is simple arithmetic.

We are experiencing exponential growth of government, and government debt, and have already passed the event horizon where a substantial (double digit) percentage of healthy, smart young people cannot survive solely on the efforts of their own labor due to the entire system becoming optimized primarily for the benefit of a small percentage at the very top of the foodchain.

Most Americans are at best treading water, not able to meaningfully get ahead. A shameful percentage of otherwise decent, ordinary Americans are falling farther behind every month..

Every day, some percentage of the former find themselves becoming trapped in the latter group. We aren't in an acknowledged great depression. In fact, for the top 10%, things have never been better.

There is no historical precedent for this, and what cannot continue will eventually stop.

Japan has had a debt to GDP ratio above 100% since like 1990, and it's now over 250%, much worse than the US. They are obviously experiencing a very stressed long-term bond market as lenders lose some faith in Japan's creditworthiness. But it doesn't look like they are on the brink of an exponential debt spiral or currency collapse. Like if they are anything to go by, clearly states are more robust to high levels of debt than I thought, and I don't see a reason to panic and liquidate in the next few years.

No country has ever come back from a debt to GDP ratio of greater than 130% without default/devaluation/restructuring.

Japan appears to be going the devaluation route. The Japanese are just a little better at spinning plates than most other people. I do not see a happy ending for Japan, but at least they will still be Japanese after it's all over. Unlike the French.

Yes, and yet even the incredibly abstract economic theory modern central banks employ requires little more than a basic grasp of mathematics to follow.

Economic activity is as much a numbers game as it is a matter of collective sentiment. The final capitulation of a fiat currency depends entirely on the appetite the public has for holding it.

Look no further than our jew Rafi Farber, he's attempted to predict the start of our next economic downturn multiple times over the past 3 years, yet clearly none of his predictions have come to pass. It's not for lack of statistics or data either; numbers can only take you so far. Our spergy friend up-thread will realize this in due time.

>People always say that IQ doesn't equate intelligence
Mearsheimer made and interesting observation in a recent video talking about Jake Sullivan. Mearsheimer pointed out that Sullivan is very smart, he went to Yale, was a Rhodes Scholar, etc., but in a debate with Mearsheimer in 2014, had the most pedestrian, boilerplate talking points with no mental flexability whatsoever.

Sullivan was espousing exactly the views needed to advance within the current government bureaucracy.

It worked. Sullivan was using his intelligence to prostitue his integrity in a way that was personally profitable, but made him an accomplice in the deaths and maiming of over a million Ukrainians.

What good is high IQ when someone is morally corrupt, and/or a crook? Someone should do an early life check on Sullivan, maybe an DNA test to check for ashkenazi genes.

>Treasuries are not “risk-free” in a debasement regime.
