I've been buying gold for a while now but all I see people talking about on biz and elsewhere is silver. Why is that?

TD bullion had a notice that deliveri a would take up to 20 business days (one month). I found a thread on plebbit last night about TD bullion (their site hasn't been working for me for the last two weeks and I wanted to see if others were chatting about it) and one anon ordered end of September and still hasn't received the order. Does TD bullion work for anyone? Looks like I won't be ordering reom them if it's an online order.

Pic related. Taken Dec 1 the last time I saw the website working

Bubba, main reason is the gold silver ratio. Silver is/was at historic lows in the ratio (100+ oz of silver for one oz of gold) now it’s at 65. Some would argue that it should go as low as 10-15, but most people agree that 40 is a relatively safe bet. Also, silver has increasing industrial applications as newer solid state batteries that will be produced for autos starting 2027 will require roughly 1kg of silver per car. Those are the main two, including the global supply nuances imo.

Silver historically rises relatively faster than gold during precious metals bull markets, for example you could put $1000 into gold you may gain 50% in a good year but silver tends to go higher (because of unique industrial/market characteristics) so silver could do 100%.

If you want ultimately want more gold in the long run then you can sell or trade your silver for gold around silver’s peaks and you end up with twice as much (or more) gold at the end of your trade without having to spend any extra money.

I buy silver with the intention of trading about 50~75% of my stack for gold at some point.

Which means there'll be trading bots trading tons of volume having limits right there to either buy or sell. Round numbers are always resistances, and for some reason with PMs, the Euro ones hit hardest from my ponderings and observations.

It's definitely a ripoff buying at the store. If you can find $50 worth of crap to buy, it would even be better to just order flour and butter (at least by my kerry gold is like $2 cheaper), you're better off of using amazon fresh instead of the store.

You are a silver stacker. You will never buy a yacht. Even when you have enough wealth to buy 10 yachts, you will not. Ours is a nature of preparedness, not comfort seeking. So even once you've made it, you'll never forget when you didn't have it. So you'll be careful with your money, as you should be, because what in case something happens?

First Majestic hasn't really pumped yet, honestly SIL, SILJ, and SLVR might be worthwhile too. Might as well diversify with some GDXJ.

nice stack bro, maybe we can go back to that money.
Or even better, back to actual Reichsmark.
The 5RM piece had 25 grams of Silver, quite the chonky fuck. The small boyos (ignore the krug and the maple) are gold RM, which came in 10 and 20, were tiny, and basically our version of the Sovs.
The ratio is clear, 3.84g of Gold was valued around 50g of Silver.

Know your way out. Remember. SLV has been acting as a fractional reserve bank for physical silver. So on the theory that there is actually a lot of missing physical silver in the reported vaults (which I agree with). It’s the ETFs where it’s missing from.

They have been leasing (rehypothicating whatever) the silver in the SLV. And I believe as much as 80% of those reserves they report are IOUs for actual silver. Much like a bank lends out your money to earn interest.

But like any bank. When liquidity (in this case silver not dollars) becomes a problem. And they don’t have it. A run can start. And the ETF that’s acting as a bank in this case could collapse. And you certainly won’t be top of the list for recouping money. So keep an eye on it. They don’t let you redeem. And they are not audited. And admit they lease it out.

You can print dollars to save a bank. You can’t print silver. If things get dicey. Swap it all for physical and pay the premium or cash out.
>>
>>61514844
You're a dumbass if you don't make the switch to physical while you still can. It's the people like you who hold onto shares and certificates of Silver that will find themselves with none when Silver reaches its peak.

I've been stacking a long time over a decade. I mainly use two sites jm bullion and bullion exchange. The other night I was on jm and wanted to see how many kilo bars they had in stock. They used to list this but stopped a while ago. I added all the kilo bars to my cart. The total was 636. I just check about 30 min ago and they're down to 45. This has happened in the last week. So in less than a week they went from 636 kilo bars to 45. That is extremely unusual. Also today i checked 100oz bars. There were 297. I'll check again in a couple days. I believe physical inventory is close to getting nonexistent for us peasants. They also have a message on their site saying they don't ship internationally. Never seen that in over a decade of buying from them.

Yes I can confirm. I was cornering the 10 oz round market for some time on multiple websites and it is basically already unobtainium unless I buy from ebay. Dealers won't have it in stock unless it is a ridiculous kosher premium. Just to be clear MANY other forms of bullion are running out. For sure they are making it impossible for us to stack, even with the season this is unheard of. Physical is running out. Soon even generic will be gassed.

Would love that/ Nowhere close but the enjoyment from 2.5 acres is amazing. Starting over in my 20s would have put land as priority, 5-10 acres or more at least 2 hours out from any city and low tax. Camped on it in good weather, then a camper trailer, and eventually building out a place to live. Hindsight for sure but happy where we ended up.

Greg Mannarino gets stale but his MMRI is actually a pretty solid indicator. It's like watching for a knee-joint inverting. If both of those indicators start moving together in the wrong direction then something is wrong.
He doesn't really have a whole lot of good content these days. I don't think a lot of pundits in the sector really do besides Alsdair McCleod and Ed Steer.
Rafi would be good, but youngsters need to be aware that he peppers in revisionism and political ideology that doesn't matter. He's not your friend and his remarks about "the state" are antiquated rhetoric for anyone alive in 2026.

Salivate, we all know it's you, go work on your newest youtube video where you helpfully spend 10 minutes informing us that "Silver went UP/DOWN today! It began the day at $XX.XX and is now at $XX.XX! We could see the price go UP or DOWN in the future! Thanks for tuning in everyone! Please remember to donate !"

Yes, AND it's option expiry day. That's an indicator that something has fundamentally shifted. They are not willing to spend a billion oz of short sales to knock the price down today like they did last Friday. We've got about 90 minutes left in the trading week.

If the silver price closes ABOVE $65, a whole bunch of options are in the money and the banksters take a huge loss.

Here's AI chinaman explaining.

JPM went long on silver and the chinks are buying it by the shipping container. Everyone who knows is battening down the hatches in anticipation of hyperinflation and a market sell-off. We might see silver exceed the classic 8:1 or 12:1 silver to gold ratio before it blows off its top and drops to a stable point. Its going to be years before American silver mining gets up to speed let alone the rest of the world. There's simply not enough producing silver mines to match current demand.

Mark my words: this too will come to pass. Silver, like all things, cannot increase in value forever. Everyone should be thinking about an exit strategy. We've still got a long way to go, but dont get greedy and start thinking about what you'll exchange your silver for when its value is excessive.

>>
>>61515546
Yes, silver is shockingly high to people who were buying $20 or cheaper silver.

Today's price is shockingly low compared to what it will be in a year or two. We are coming off of 50 years of price suppression that has disincentivized exploration and new mine projects.

The high prices will reverse that, but there's a 10-20 year lag from when the investment is made until metal comes out of the ground.

That 50 year price suppression was like holding a soccer ball two meters under water. When the forces holding it down go away, it will shoot up far above the surface.

This is how we'll get our ratio play of <40:1 which we might see as early as 2028.

I know that half the uses for silver are complete bullshit and the other half are simply because it is cheap that they can afford to blow it up by the truckload. There's only a tiny amount of uses where it really can't be replaced by other metals. It's like the boomers who think that copper is precious and absolutely necessary for modern technology without realizing that aluminum does 99% of the job and even power companies use aluminum over copper because of the cost with very little benefit.
>>

>>
There is a finite point at which no amount of fiat will be able to buy you an ounce of silver, because every fiat system in history has failed/will fail, and if you understand this then you know that the theoretical max price of silver is infinity of whatever currency you decide to measure in.

You will be able to trade silver for gold at whatever the market rate is at the time. I stack both and have no predictions about what the ratio will be in the future. But the idea that suddenly coin stores that make their money trading gold and silver will suddenly stop because gold got too valuable is nonsense.

>>61515742
Classic jew double bluff
>>
>>61515752
This, the higher the price of gold goes the more liquidity dealers have access to. The only reason they would go out of business is because of poor inventory management or because a larger market participant buys them out.
>>
If coin stores close up shop then congratulations. You win. The dollar is officially finished.
>>
>>61515629
What are you doing? Silver is not about the day to day price fluctuations. Buy it and sit on it. It always goes up. Just a matter of how fast.
