We get it. Here's your participation trophy in the victim olympics. Congratulations, maybe if you would've pulled yourself up by your bootstraps you might have done better.
gen x was literally the luckiest generation in human historyeven more than boomers, they just aren't as evil as boomers
>>61526456>>61526491I think Gen Xers (and Millennials to some extent) were taught that being sanctimonious, Oikophobic and self-effacing were the highest of virtues, so they squandered everything they were given and didn't push or fight back when the selfish boomers gobbled everything up and told them to kick rocks. The 60's mindraped a lot of Boomers, so when Gen Xers were coming of age in the 80's and 90's, they were being indoctrinated with this sort of "YOU HAVE IT SO GOOD! AND THESE PEOPLE HAVE NOTHING!" pseudo-Christian ideology. They adopted this really lousy "ironic" negative worldview that basically centers on self-flagellation and false modesty. After being hammered with Boomer "YOU'RE LUCKY YOU HAVE IT SO GOOD!" their whole lives, Gen X and Millennials revel in being pitiful losers and think giving your country away to ungrateful browns is the epitome of selflessness and virtue. They still view themselves as "rebelling" against some imaginary boomer-reich when they're actually just punishing younger people. Meanwhile they can't grasp why the younger generations (who NEVER had it "good" and don't have anything to give away) look at them with disdain.
>>61526595But you dont get it, gen X had it rough. They didnt have doordash growing up and had to drink hose water as a kid. Meanwhile zoom zooms get their fancy iphones and weed that is ruining society. It's their fault the grew into a system that allowed six figures of generational debt to get a job that was just given to X as long as they had a pulse.Just you wait, trickle down economics will come any day now. Who cares that a house was 30k in 1980? Things were always expensive! I was only paid 10 dollars an hour back then!
Generational musical chairs with a side game of wealth inequality. I hope I don't lose too bad.
>>61526456Wow a generation of nihilistic losers accomplished nothing? Who’d have guessed?
