I would love to, but its very hard for outsiders due to corruption, necessary bribery, possible "protection" money, and soak the foreigner mentalities. You need a local partner with a cousin on the municipal board.

I looked into buying a small hotel in Mexico, but learned its not all fun and games with politician payoffs, cartel payoffs, local politics, instability, etc. Fuck that
