It's only as expensive as you make it. They barely eat anything, they have very low standards as far as clothing and entertainment. So yes they're quite cheap. Where it gets expensive is childcare when they're pre school age, and potentially healthcare. It's quite easy to have a big family if one parent isn't working, or working part-time, you will just be budgeting (unless you're over six figs).Kids are VERY time expensive thoughever. They need a lot of attention and care.
