If you already have your minimum 300 oz of silver 1+oz of gold at these ratios then yes. Especially if you have an LCS that lets you away between them.
Platinum and palladium make a great hedge against total collapse because all their use cases are high tech/space age alloys, their uncanny abilities as catalysts and their requirement in boomer medical devices.
I use platinum as a go between when ratio trading if I want to get out of one metal but not jump into the other yet and platinum is even more undervalued against silver than silver is against gold ATM.
Tldr stay in silver, gamble on platinums. They are volatile and useful for ratio trading.

>spotting AI is the new "can you picture an apple".
Usually, yes. And that's because most people don't put in a certain style that they want the AI to use.
For example, I just made this image of "Pikachu from a child's coloring book done in crayon" and it doesn't look like the typical AI image at all.
I do not think OP's pic is AI though, nothing in the background looks messed up, and AI has trouble with backgrounds. The rose refracts through the champaign glass naturally, and computers in general have trouble rendering light when reflected and refracted. In the same vein, the candle light diffusion through the thin wax looks real as well.
I think its a still life photography for some corporate holiday function or a stock photo.

Silver buys you a lot of platinum right now. Just saying. Silver has made a huge run and I think it's got more to go, especially with trade heat. So RIGHT NOW may not be the best time to move silver into platinum, but an oz of au still gets you 2 plat and I think gold has some resting to do. It's next huge leg will come after the GSR corrects and silver starts dumping into gold.
I changed my holdings to match GSR at around 70/1.
Swapped gold to silver at 100/1.
Have since swapped gold into platinum and palladium and silver into platinum.
If you got your 300/1 and want to assume some low risk platinum is a great call even if only to stack and it's 2/1 with gold right now and 1/30 with silver.
It's avg with gold is 1/3 and with silver is 1/75.
Platinum is a pretty fun "gamble" if you find watching race car too exciting for your heart.

We bought a couple of tubes of generic rounds from the LCS without even looking at them. When we got them home we found a bunch of oddball collector rounds.

My suspicion is they were either from a dead boomer collector's estate, or some nigger thief stole them and fenced them at the LCS.

It includes several Zombucks, both the Morgue-Anne and the Zombie Buffalo, a First Majestic round, some generic "US Eagle" style rounds. I'll lay them out one of these days and try to get a decent picture.

We got them for the generic round lowest price.

No. Once people lose everything to a fiat rugpull, it creates generational trauma. Germany had very low nflation for generations after 1923 because the German people where phobic about inflation.

Many of the people who lost their life savings from the bank failures in the 1930s never trusted banks again for the rest of their lives. Of course you could get away with that using a dollar pegged to gold, or with 90% silver coinage.

Nobody will trusk crypto or fiat for the next several decades if the US Dollar gets rugpulled.

I don't have that data convenient.
Some of them have done quite well in 2025, but I believe they will really shine in 2026.

Just like gold leads, silver follows, silver leads, the miners follow. Some lucky picks may go up 20x or more, but we don't do high risk plays.

We'll take a reduced upside to a greatly reduced downside. Besides, we're more into physical. We're doing miners because the physical is getting a little too pricy.

A 10 oz bar is a thousand bucks in Canada.

Don Durrett is good for juniors if one is young and has an aggressive investment strategy.

Rick Rule picks are good for older people who are conservative about making gains with minimal risk to capital. He gives several stocks in the video below.
