Okay.. A lot of people comment on the environmental impact. But it's important to know this is maybe one of the few places on earth where life is truly scarce - we are dealing with Sahara dessert type of ecosystem. It's a moon landscape down there, no light, crushing pressure, near freezing point, no sound/noise, everything is dead. It's a barren wasteland, except of a few critters, like you don't even have normal predator/prey relationship because how far spread they are, it's all quasi-immortal plant-snail-hybrids floating around down there.I'm not saying it's a good thing.. how can anyone say it is a good thing to nuke an environment.
