Silver chads talking about how Silver is the solution and will solve the economic problems created by the Fed money printer is a story older than the Fed itself.
>>
>>61544985
I remember even in 2023 and 2024 you were called a retard for buying that chart
>>

>>
>>61544985
Now adjust it for inflation
Compare it to the price of gold
Flip it and reverse it
>>
>>61545056
Adjusted for inflation, that first spike in 1980 was $125 in today's money.
>>
>>61545077
No, sorry, it got up to $50 in 1980, which would make it $198 in today's money.
The only people telling you Silver is a good store of wealth are the people selling you the silver.
>>
>>61545090
bottom signal
>>
>>61545077
yes, but that spike was due to two brothers trying to corner the entire market at a single go. Which Congress then told them they couldn't do. Even though they could easily afford to do so, as they understood silver was being suppressed even back then. Its hardly fair to point to that spike like it was a natural movement
>>
>>61545028
Well, that was all just silly nonsense, from people who get ahead of themselves. Silver was only just starting.
However, buying that chart now *IS* fucking retarded.
>>
>>61545028
imagine this, jews created a bot to make 50 posts in any thread that mentions silver, but i think it made silver even more popular, they are this stupid
>>
>>61544985
If you don't sell now you're literally retarded and shouldn't be trusted with money

Okay.
I'm not saying you can't make money. I'm just saying

Brutal

No, you are not getting it. They LITERALLY attempted to purchase 100% of the market. At once.

It's the same old shit.
Paul Revere was a silversmith. He made silverware. Silver was literally so common and unremarkable as a currency or store of wealth 250 years ago that we ATE OFF OF IT.
>>
Crypto nerds are ABSOLUTELY SEETHING over the fact they can't anally masturbate with their crypto, while we /pmg/ stackers CAN -- Right now I've got a 1KG silver bar up my ass and it feels AMAZING and I know the COMEX can't take the bar from me! Meanwhile Satoshi can log in to Bitcoin at any moment and steal your coins. Knowing all this I'm anally masturbating with my silver right now and my cat is watching! I'M ABOUT TO COOOOOM!!!! AND COOOMEX CAN'T STOP ME!!
>>
>>61544985
it's going up for very different reasons this time around

>>61545153
>masters of reverse psychology

>>
1980 and 2011 crashes were engineered by the banks. If they did the same today China and India would slurp everything at a discount and the tight supply would get even tighter. Lower prices makes the crisis that's playing out now worse.
>>

And?
>Silver was literally so common and unremarkable as a currency or store of wealth 250 years ago
it has been used as coinage for thousands of years retard.

lol, couldnt have anything to do with it be a natural antimicrobial could it?

>>
>>61545101
>>61545131
You're both totally wrong and totally right.
The crypto dipshit is right that the Hunt brother's spike contained some of the the same underlying causes. But the other guy is correct that they were stopped by the government and not at all by market forces. Also the government had to hike up interest rates to crazy levels to put a stop to it.

So what is different, if anything? Real industrial demand with a lot of technology using it and the SHFE existing are the major difference. Since Shanghai settles physically for real instead of faking it like London and COMEX, they've become the arbiter of price now. There's also a big difference between two guys cornering the market and the nations with the largest industries and most people cornering the market.

It is different:

1. Global shortage

2. Shanghai premium

3, Chinese export ban

4. India monetization.

>>
>>61545301
This, raising cme leverage requirements isn't going to make more silver, American retail is selling out of necessity and it doesn't matter because the rest of the world continues to buy. It'll have down days to be sure, maybe even weeks and months but long term it's going to keep going up until every mine gets funding and they are given 5-7 years to get production running.

According to the pattern it should've gone back to $4 for twenty years and then to fifty and then back down. Now there is no pattern anymore.
>>

If you didn't buy sub 20 you are retarded and have no buisness giving financial advice to anyone
>>
>>61545179
People ate off silver because of its anti-microbial properties not because it was "common." They didn't understand that exactly they just noticed that people got sick less eating off silver than anything else. Also the general well to do ate off it, peasants like you still ate off wood cutlery.

if retards like you think it's retarded, then it's good

"for now"
bro do you realize silver is largely only mined because it is a byproduct of other minerals they are targeting? they don't specifically look for it. there are very few dedicated silver mines and if they do start targeting silver, it will take 5-10 years to get the mines producing.

the only way more silver will come into the ecosystem is if people start selling it, which they won't.
>>
>>61545578
Unless of course you bought something better.
>>
>>61545785
>the only way more silver will come into the ecosystem is if people start selling it, which they won't.
Even if they did, people selling off their 20oz stacks wouldn’t do anything anyways

wasn't the first spike "corrected" by literally banning long trades on silver?

and the second time it spiked it only went down because of QE

how do you determine there is a shortage?
you just trust what some jew is telling you?

how would easing monetary conditions make an asset crash in value?
>>

back then if the economy was doing good because of QE, people would sell the "safe asset" i.e. silver and buy stocks
wouldn't be the same today tho
