platinum is mostly used in catalyzers but also a bunch of other shit.palladium is even more so used in catalyzers. about 80% of all palladium is destined for catalyzers.there is a built up supply of catalyzers through recycling.
i'd say, in the future, you're much better off holding gold than either PT or PD.especially if you think EV's will take market share from ICE cars (which they will. how much and when i dont know but for sure, ev's will take market share.)also, as i said, there is a supply build up through catalyzer stock and especially so if ev's take market share because you obviously do not need catalyzers for ev's.

The platinum market is tiny, just a whiff of hype and everything gets scooped up. People who feel like they missed out on gold and silver may consider it a worthwhile gamble. I am certainly considering getting rid of some silver to get more platinum to save space. I am unwilling to buy silver and gold at these prices anyway.
