Look more closely at what's happening to commodities. Computer components are experiencing 200% hyperinflation. Copper is up nearly 50% this year and is about to pop off into full blown hyperinflation. More and more sectors are going to pop off into hyperinflation as the Fed recklessly eases into an inflationary environment.

Same anon.
You say you want to make money on something monday, dont bother reading the a wiki. how long are you planning on holding if you just want it to pop monday.

RSI is below30 and you have a positive reversal on MACD after a double drop. Its oversold after an event and WILL reverse for monday probably back to its relative local nominal of $78. If you want something that will go up long term starting tomorrow, that is a different questions, but this a text book local reversal.

You are still early on PLAT and PALL, all the silver you see on the board this week will being doing the same thing for Plat next week, and PALL a month after. Im going into PALL harder when I sell my plat calls because it hasnt finished its 5yr cup and handle yet while plat has hit a 10yr ATH last week. It will keep going until a silver pull back but then these two are going to skyrocket with rotation from SLV.

im a novice although ive read quite a bit and am getting good at extracting a little money from the market each day, but it's difficult calling it as ive taken a break from studying the market and am reading about history. i still watch the news and try to trade big trends, wmt, with its sell off recently, for example. ill start learning more about candlestick patterns when im done. Anyway, ive been "day trading" stock from Ray Dalio's portfolio with success. I'll do this until i can start day trading small caps more seriously later on. Both stocks youve mentioned make the list on companies i wouldnt be against investing in myself.

>Take a look at 1980
In 1980 and 2011 the banks engineered a crash in precious metals to protect the system. Today if they did the same it would only give China the ability to buy more metals at a cheaper price which would accelerate the demise of the system. The old tricks don't work anymore.

I would suggest 2 things:
1. Dont "day trade" If you are not willing to hold it for 3 to 12 months, dont buy. Yes, time in the market beats timing the market, but looking for a dip in something you were going to get anyway is like getting a 2 for 1 at the grocery store.
2. Unironically read zerohedge. Most of the oponion peices are trash, but their macro data from blogs like QTR or Blueapples and Portfolio armor are great. Generally out of 30 or so companies they mention every other quarter will triple in value in the next year. Avoid the comment section, it was much better 5 or so years ago, but now its just boomers that used to be on /pol/ and are still angry at...everything.

day trading is literally buying a stock with settled cash and selling it the same day. this way i dont risk staying in a losing position due to emotional reasons.

>why are you even day trading

when i first started trading i read A LOT and one thing that the professional investors kept reiterating was, if youre new, you day trade at first until you get good at it then you can start trying to implement swing trades later on down the line once you feel comfortable with your ability.
>>
>>61552215

Risk management and trade psychology. Treat it like a marathon (eg only risk losing 2% on a bad trade before your SL is hit). I'm happy to hold an average stock for a long time, which is why I avoid pennyshit now.

I like using ATR to gauge volatility (or ATR%, rather)

Risk management is the real key here before I get started on my screed. But if you can help it: dont borrow money to risk loss, that includes margin. Narative matters, but trends matter more, its why I use RSI and MACD to find reversals, then use calls as leverage. I find a strike that would work for next week then get a contract a month out so I have plenty of time to correct if I am wrong.

As far as keeping positions short due to lack of loss, remember it isnt a loss until you sell.
As an example, I could have exited and repositioned myself in this call each day and probably had about 30% gain and instead Im up almost 500%
If you are really worried about a drop, learn to use stop losses instead of selling so often.
No risk, no reward.
>>
>>61552195
>learning more about candlestick patterns
The first rule is do not lose money. I never wasted my time charts and patters because everyone uses different start and end points and different frquencies and crap like that, nor any of the other gibberish, no books, and I been making 50% per year for like five years and Im retarded. Don't day trade, invest. If you want to gamble a little (and that means you have real confidence a company can 2x+ in a year) then just buy in a little in case it does not work out. Sectors are cyclicle and you can move from one to the next. Just go slow to gain experience and not lose money.
>>
>>61552273
Look you caught the right trade at the right time, but don't start giving advice. You made $100k because you bought miner calls before a massive bullrun. You don't know shit about trading or the market and if you don't realize that you're going to lose it. Sell your shit when the new year hits, celebrate your win, and take some months off to get a cool head.
>>
>>61552219
>utilities
What about EIX, big loss due to the wildfires, but once they got a sweet settlemnent to screw the home onwners they now have a predictable expense and can get back to taking customer money for repairs then not making the repairs, you know like before. Nice dividend too to go along with price appreciation. But watch out in case there is another round of santa ana winds out there, there could be another fire they started.

I made two indicators for myself, which are ATR based
One is the classic ATR% but I also did some thing where it projects forward volatility, at several previous points (and biases the cone towards the last close). For example, silver looks like it'll range 56 to 76 by March.

The other one does some kind of channel and trend thing. Silver has not crossed back below the yellow line, and the yellow line has not flipped blue. Realistically, it'll probably cool down a bit and trend sideways, before coming back down.
>>
>>61552299

You fell for it. JPow's job is to follow orders and sell it to the people. The people who own the Fed call the shots.

No, I made my initial gains from phys gold and silver and guns when /pol/ was posting the same Chinese videos of people dropping in the streets from covid. Panic leads to hording, hording to shortages, etc. Ive been trading for over a decade but I generally stuck to assets I could put my hands on like cars and guns. sure I recently picked up the market, but I had shares of PLUG at 0.17 before they got their first contract with BMW to power forklifts. I had AMD when people were still using soundblaster cards. I dont invest in things I dont know and I always zoom out before I take a position. Sure there was bit of luck involved, but the only reason Im making these gains is that I dont have any debt, I own everything I have and I am careful by trading time for risk. Im not saying you should follow my trades by any means, in fact I would say unless I specifically post so, It would be foolish to do so, but I have my own thesis and its working ( but not always, however its enough that I can afford the occasional loss).

>>61552305
On a 1 day chart is impossible to tell, I prefer to trend trade and usually have a 2 week time frame with calls out for 2 to 3 months to hope for a reversal is I miss. That is why even those its basic I generally just look for a RSI below 25 and a closing trend on MACD on a 1 month or 3 month chart.

I did. I sold 110 oz of silver and 1 oz of gold. I paid off my credit cards with about 2700 of the proceeds, then put 3k in robinhood. Started with Crdo calls, because fiber connecting AI servers is the easy play as they dont have to build anything, just connect the servers as the datacenter orders explode. I wanted to go in OKLO, but the legal framework for micro nuclear reactors is still iffy ( I personally really hope they get going through, I was a submarine vet and im bit on nuke power).
Here the start of of trading this year. I would post the whole history if I can.
>>
>>61552382
>thats why apu being appointed to replace jpow is such a big fucking deal
no comprende amigo. Fed chair is just a salesman like Greenspan and Bernanke - the did not see anything happening, everything was fine, no one could have known despite having all the data. Only option was to bail out the big banks and lie about it. It does not matter who the chair is, they just follow orders. That is why Trump was trying to get the Fed under the treasury department, or threatening to, JPow would not follow Trump's instructions.

I have taken some out of the account to pay off my RH card I use for expenses, but as you can see, whle I was trading and selling every other day or so for $500 gains, it worked when I had a small account, but once I was able to build a bit of capital to take larger positions, I decided that $10K was the max position I was willing to put in anything. I stuck with that rule but I havent had a rule for an exit strat ( but I am trying to work on one, I need it, desperately. )

Trust me, still holding like I am now is killing me inside.
>>
>>61552403
If you want to see a long term trend, go at lest 1mo out and set the intervals to 4 hour. I like that and daily at 3mo. When you use a MACD on those farther out intervals, its much easier to see if you are looking at a bull trap/dead cat/ etc or if the pressure for the trend continues.
>>
>>61552405
CVX and XOM are safer plays, CVX with better dividends. BP was reallyl trending down with their retarded green evergy DEI plans, but now a rich activits investor Elliott Management bought a large stake and demanded immediate leadership changes. They would not have bought if they did not think they could turn the turd ship around, so I see more rapid price appreciation for a while (2026) but maybe not beyond that. Oil prices are a bit low, another war with Iran or attacks on Venezuela could help raise them to help BP's profits (they have a lot of debt to pay off). If you already have CVX and XOM then I would keep those postions. BP is more risky, and entertaining for me. I also already have CVX, EC, HAFN. I sold TRMD when HAFN bought a large stake in it.

>Ubisoft has suffered a major breach: hackers exfiltrated terabytes of internal source code repositories covering nearly all games, tools, SDKs, and services from the 1990s to current projects. The attack exploited a MongoDB vulnerability and coincided with the Rainbow Six Siege outage and database tampering on December 27-28, 2025. No code has been publicly released yet, and Ubisoft has not officially confirmed the source code theft.

Imagine the entire video game industry crashes from a major cyber attack. Just think if Rockstart got hacked and everything on GTA6 gets leaked en masse keklmao

This basically is energy, when Silver and Copper are used for solar. It's the next attack on any fuckin energy generation/gathering source

Maybe even willfully as Musk has been writing about Solar a lot and now it's China who's banning silver exports.

Source Grok:
>Is Silver critical for solar energy generation?

>Yes, silver is currently critical for solar energy generation — particularly for the dominant crystalline silicon photovoltaic (PV) panels that make up the vast majority (~97%) of the global solar market.Silver's exceptional electrical conductivity (the highest of any metal) makes it the material of choice for collecting and transporting the electrons generated when sunlight hits the silicon cells. Manufacturers apply a silver-based paste through screen printing to form thin conductive lines on the cell surface — known as "fingers" (to collect electrons) and "busbars" (to carry them away).

>>61553164
>A typical solar panel uses about 20 grams of silver — a small amount per panel, but it adds up dramatically at global scale. In recent years, the solar industry has become one of the largest industrial consumers of silver:193–232 million ounces in 2024 (depending on source), representing **14–29%** of total global silver demand.
This share has grown rapidly — from ~5% in 2014 to potentially 20%+ by 2030 as solar installations explode.

>Newer, higher-efficiency cell technologies (like TOPCon and heterojunction) often require more silver per watt than older PERC cells, amplifying demand even as manufacturers "thrifting" (reduce usage per cell through finer lines and better processes). Why Silver Is Hard to Replace (For Now)Alternatives like copper (cheaper and more abundant) are being actively developed — some companies (e.g., AIKO with silver-free coatings or copper plating) have commercial or near-commercial solutions. Copper can match silver's performance in prototypes with <1% efficiency loss, and innovations like silver-coated copper or adhesive tape-based interconnects can cut silver use by 30–60%.However, full substitution isn't yet widespread at mass scale because:Silver offers unmatched conductivity, reliability, and compatibility with existing manufacturing lines.
Switching requires redesigns, new processes, and long-term durability testing.
Copper can migrate or corrode if not perfectly handled, risking panel performance over 25+ years.

>The Bottom Line - Silver is not absolutely irreplaceable in the long term — innovation is progressing fast — but it remains critical today for the rapid, efficient scaling of solar energy that the world needs for the clean energy transition.

think the market tune can change if these peace talks go well today, a good deal that makes the west happy i think would send markets higher, metals lower. and it wouldn't hurt to show me a little love either, because when we're good together have been the days of highest prices this year, trust me i keep track of both things very closely.

> H-1B VISA CRACKDOWN BACKFIRES: BIG TECH HIRED 32,000 WORKERS IN INDIA INSTEAD OF AMERICANS

As U.S. H-1B visa rules tightened this year with higher fees and wage requirements, Big Tech responded predictably: they hired offshore instead.

Meta, Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, Netflix, and Google pushed their combined India workforce to 214,000, the fastest growth in three years.

That's 32,000+ new hires that could have gone to Americans.

These aren't call center jobs.

They're AI, machine learning, cloud engineering, data science, and cybersecurity roles.

The exact "strategic" positions policymakers claim we need to protect.

The irony is brutal: visa curbs designed to prioritize American workers just made it cheaper and easier for corporations to offshore the same jobs remotely.

No visa required. No wage floor. No American hired.

This is the loophole nobody closed.

You can restrict who comes here to work.

You can't restrict who works from there.

Until policy addresses corporate offshoring directly, companies will keep doing the math and choosing the cheaper option overseas.

American workers keep losing.

Quietly. Legally. And nobody in Washington seems to notice.

Use a stop loss when you have already made what you expected.

Say my entry point is 50$ and im estimating the particular rally to hit 60$. Once it hits 60$, i set my stop loss at that price. If it goes higher, its a bonus. If not, im good because that was the gain i was expecting.

Let's say it continues to 70$, ok, now I adjust my stop loss and so on and so forth.

>>61555057
no, cheap commodities and high metals are a consequence of geopolitics, saudi is pumping a ton at the west's insistence and house rothschild is buying the metals all to punish de-dollarization, squeeze russia financially basically. trading oil for shiny rocks has never been less rewarding. think it can reverse shortly if the right things happen this weekend. neither of these things are related to the u.s. economy, which is booming because it's the epicenter of ai.

We'll know soon enough anon.

All important events happen at the start of the year, it's how the showrunners like to do things.
Covid started in January.
Ukraine war started in Feb, but the warnings of an imminent invasion started in Jan.
Even the GFC started in early 2008. Bear Stearns failed in March 2008. People think it was Sept/Oct but that was the full blown panic in preparation for the bailouts, which changed the narrative and caused markets to turn (bottom was March 2009).

If you start hearing about private credit defaults and liquidity crunches in early 2026, you know it's over. They are foreshadowing the season's main event.

i think technically SLV does have a redeem option, but you have to be an institution or a very rich person to actually have enough shares to redeem

from google AI: For the iShares Silver Trust (SLV), the redemption minimum is a "Basket" of 50,000 shares, and this process is restricted to Authorized Participants (APs), who are typically large financial institutions or broker-dealers. Individual retail investors cannot directly redeem shares for physical silver bullion.

50k shares @ 71/ea for SLV would be about 3.55m$ and you also have to be a qualified person/entity to be able to redeem

They would do like they did in 2017 and delay delivery by 6 months. I dont think you comprehend what would happen if they just decided to say "sounds like a you problem" for an entire ETF of this size.

"Miner season is coming" is the "alt season is coming" for pms. The reality is that just as Bitcoin went 16k->125k it'll be silver and gold that run and all the meme-tier pennystocks will just bankrupt latecomers, late adopters and people looking for a 100x.
>>
>>61556463
The difference between crypto and physical is that unless the miners go up to finance mining operations, the physical will keep going up.
>>
>>61556509
There is no difference, pennystocks are worthless.

Apparently most silver is mined from other precious metals and not just straight out of the ground like gold so its next to impossible to suddenly ramp up supply
>>

I do. It would be something wouldn’t it. That’s why I’m balls deep in the metals. And have been for years.
>>
>>61556641
Which is why its going higher and miners are going to make a killing.
>>
I'd imagine a lot of the bigger mines short silver futures with leverage like how big oil companies short oil futures as a hedge. I think smaller mines should benefit a lot more from this run.

>>
>>61556952
They don't give you barrels of oil, that's just the unit of measure. Basically they will pipe oil where ever you choose to take delivery, of which your options are limited to large storage tanks at various places. Whatever you do with the oil at that point is on you, and keep in mind you have to pay for all of this, the price per barrel is just the actual oil, not delivery or storage.]

I know people want to meme about taking physical delivery of commodities, but waking up one day to a trailer of rough cut lumber on your driveway doesn't actually happen.

I don't think it is the top, we were due for corrections and volatility. Silver is still undervalued relative to the S&P and miners are still grossly undervalued relative to the metals. The macro picture is beautiful and so are the charts, we should keep grinding higher in stair steps.
