>Found this automated Martingale bot on YT.
>Consistent profits so far, but we all know the risks.

What if I withdraw all profits daily and only trade with the initial seed?
Does this cap the risk enough to make it viable long-term?

It's free with no fees, so I'm really tempted to test with a small amount.
Thoughts?

its very slow gains until one day there is a black swan event that completely wiped out all of your profits from day 1 + more
look up the martingale strategy with roulette or blackjack. same thing

>Is martingale viable
On a long enough term it is a guaranteed loser.

Start with $1000, place a bet up or down with a stoploss at -$10 and a take profit order at +$10. This gives you a risk/reward ratio of 1:1 with 1% of your account.
If you win your next bet should be $10.10 then $10.20. If you lose it should be $9.90 then $9.80 etc, always 1% of your total account value. This way your wins can snowball and your losses will diminish.
Doing it like this means you begin with coinflip odds and if you have any skill to add to the set up you will win over time. If you can manage to win even one more than you lose every week you’ll turn 1000 into 14,000 over five years, then a couple of hundred thousand over the next five years.

This is quite literally the only thing you should do for at least the first few years of trading until you know for certain how good or how shit you are.

Any kind of trading bot you get access to is a scam btw

Martingale works indeed but only in a idyllic world where roulettes are not manipulated beyond belief and there are no max bet limits. Otherwise you will get anally raped in the ass

I only know of this from my gambling, and its an old method that doesnt really work anymore. Almost guaranteed to lose over long term.
Are you sure that you're not turtle trading and just sizing up on positions?
