For years I've been dreaming of being a real YouTuber. I tried making videos playing Minecraft but they didn't get any views. How do you make it on YouTube? I need to make at least $500,000/year. What do I do?

There is no guide, you either get lucky or you get lucky.

I spend about 3 hours a day making content with an eye girl. Got about 100k subs and make like 800 bucks a week with it. It's not much but oh well

You need to make shit people actually want to watch

You need to get creative with titles and keep it tight. You need to get their attention straight away so they decide whether or not they stay.
So if you wanted to make a ten minute video on dolphins, don't start the first minute with silence, saying, um, uh, well...
Start off by saying "This is the reason why dolphins are so important. This is... They are..."
People say to care about editing/transitions/effort.
No, the audience is simple. Satisfy them and that's it.
Instead of a million gameplay videos, stop doing that unless you're huge and people care about YOU, to watch YOU play the game and give thoughts.
For a random nobody, become the reason why the come to your channel, then they will think about if they want to come back and watch you.
I recently made a video about routine, a horror video game, explaining the game. This got 1,000 views over about a week. My walk-through of the game? 9 views. You should understand why.
Answer key questions for the viewers, remind them (because they are stupid and forgetful, and goldfish) that if they like you, like the video and sub, then get into the content.
The visuals don't matter that much as long as what the video actually is is fulfilling.
If it's dark souls? Have Dark Souls gameplay over narration of you explaining different builds.
If it's minecraft? Minecraft gameplay over you talking about the lore, or common Minecraft questions.
Do questions, or glitches, or tutorials. People always search. Become the channel they search for.
My common tactic is to find new games with my friends, play them, then after, if I truly like it, throw out a few tutorials, critiques, whatever.
Our random gameplay hardly gets views, even if they're short and snappy and we'll edited, because nobody cares and me and my friends.
But that is my formula. Play, then tutorial/critique/lore/etc.

Tldr
Talk about minecraft mods. Why are they good? Why are they bad?
Do a herobrine video. Talk about minecraft creators. Do a clickbait video on why you think skydoesminecraft is actually a good person.
Make a video comparing Bedrock to Java.
Make a video talking about pocket edition.
Change things in minecraft code then see how it plays, and record your findings.
Make a video of you planking your friends or random people on servers.
Explain the evolution of minecraft from zero until today.
Tell me why I should play Minecraft over another game.
Tell me how minecraft is weak or bad.
Make a video on the minecraft music disks and how they differ or what you interpret them as.
Talk about Notch and his controversy.
Talk about how frustrated you are that mojang updates minecraft less than once a year.
Talk about how their one update is reduced to a vote, instead of implementing all three things in their one (ONE) annual update.
Talk about the evolution of Mojang as a company, or how they bought Minecraft, etc.
Talk about how minecraft went from it's original mode to the modes it has (survival, creative, adventure, etc.)

Social media has primed an environment where this type of degeneracy is not only accepted, it thrives. Social media desensitizes and radicalizes even moderates into believing heinous and abhorrent behavior is acceptable under the correct context. Spend just 5 minutes on Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, you will find hordes of these deranged people. They exist among us. The FBI knows about them but never acts until it is far too late. Western society is on a one-way fast track to collapse as long as social media continues to destroy minds and decay the culture.

I'm just starting to YT grind. I know every fuckin kid on planet earth wants to be a fuckin YTer but whatever...
I started a music channel (500 subs, 3k view hours, I barely upload, it's my "hobby", gained some interesting YT insights)
I am starting a rant channel (non political) in hopes of actually doing something I enjoy AND being able to monetize (which I personally view as NOT POSSIBLE via "guitar" or "metal music")...
additionally I want to start a WW2/history channel, but make it meme filled a fun, not boring wikipedia article reading and scary violins crying about Hitler.
Any of you anons monetized yet?
>>61553047
do you mean shilling your channel on 4chong? fuck it, I might.

i started doing 1 min POV food reviews on IG/YT/Tiktok in november and got around 4.5k followers in a month. You just gotta do something better than everyone else or in a different way to stand out. I live in one of the world's top food cities but the food reviewers here all suck dick, they just do shitty shaky stitched together 15 second clips with some captions, or a picture collage. if they do have narration, their footage sucks or they show their stupid face 50% of the time. no minute long, well shot, and well narrated content that just focuses on the food. so I found the gap in content, and started producing. my pages blew up within 2 weeks and ive been getting 50-200 followers every day since then. if you do the same thing as everyone else why would anyone follow or sub to you? you have to distinguish yourself, if your content /voice is interchangeable with everyone else who's doing the same thing you're doing it wrong. A lot of my "competition" have some semi viral reels, but the engagement overall sucks and nobody follows after they see it because there's nothing that makes people say "i want more of this person". my follow rate 4-5x higher than average in my niche because I have voice, discernment, and intention. just make good shit that serves a niche.
>>
>>61552834
>either make nothing and waste years or make the equivalent of 16$ an hour
Great career path, retard.
>>
Find a niche or something unusual/interesting and own it.

I think of channels like Thereportoftheweek (reviewbrah) as the perfect example. This guy dresses up very formally to review fast food or frozen food items and portrays himself as taking it very seriously. Something unique, fun, and interesting is the way to do it.

It's also mostly luck. You either get seen by the algorithm or you don't. You also need to really keep pushing out content to find an audience, especially when you have zero audience.

after 2 weeks the al-gore-rhythm decided to push my lyric video (original music, full album) to the right people. I could see where the traffic was coming from via other artists albums/videos. But after about 2 weeks the al-gwar-rhythm decided to stop recommending it to people. I understand this particular video is a niche within a niche, but still hard to think it "ran out of" potential listeners to push it to.
none the less, the tiny success drove people to the projects spotify, bandcamp and I even sold some merch for a couple months via Printify.

exactly my train of thought as well. I favor people who are super genuine and have personality and are passionate about what they are talking about. I don't want to watch a soulless news caster robo-speak. I don't care how nice your camera is or your gay ambient lighting ya know.

Saturated beyond belief.
You now have to be first mover in something niche, anything basic like games, fitness, reviews, health, food, etc, you are very very small fish in a big established pond.

If it's anything IRL you (and whoever else you are filming) have to have a bold appealing personality, your average 4chins tard isn't going to cut it.
Even with that you need to put out content regularly and hope for luck.

Honestly I think unless you know you have something special, don't bother.
>>
Let's say you make $5 dollars per 1k views. It depends on many things, even how many fucking indians are watching your videos but let's say $5 dollars. It could be more or even less but it's a good average for a 20 minute video. Well, a video with 1 million views, which is massive for the average youtuber, would make 5k. It's not even that much.

You need to provide some kind of value, information, entertainment, whatever. But then, you will have to be pretty much autistic an constantly upload videos. You're gonna make peanuts uploading 3 videos a month that get 40k views.

Take the altcoin daily channel for example. They just summarize you what is going on with crypto. One video a day. it's not a great channel but they upload constantly, every single day. And that might be one of the hardest things, because when you're new, even if you're getting some traction, the moment you stop for some weeks because you're depressed or whatever, you're done. There are people out there who will autistically upload videos every single day.

Of course, old youtubers retire all the time and new ones appear. So it's not impossible. But it's pretty hard.
>>
>>61552834
Make the background of your video thumbnail a noticable color, with something sensationalized related to it in garish all caps text such as "BROKEN!?" or "IMPOSSIBLE!?" and the superimpose either your face or an anime girl ontop of it.

I made around 700k before taxes on my run
I got demonetized like 2 years ago and I have been suicidal since then. I have never had a job or commuted because I refused to do so and somehow managed to hack the matrix. Now I must find the strenght to not kill myself on a daily basis. Of course I have not worked and will never work, I will 2x this with stocks and live off dividends.
>>
>>61556277
you dont need to be constant, you need to find a way to make videos that rank well and give you passive income, which is extremely difficult
of course if you find a formula to produce videos that do great each time and you upload constantly like mrslop then you are set in most cases if you upload daily content your content is trash

the people that get away with it have cult personality folowings like penguinz0, they can talk about any crap and get a gazallion views with 0 editing

Youtube nowadays is 90% about parasocial relationships. The actual topic of your videos is just a means to an end. People are lonely and substitute real life interactions with youtube videos. So basically just appeal to a specific demographic and be their buddy they listen to every other day.

It boils down to having an on-camera personality that people can build a parasocial bond with. You can literally point to a ton of channels where this is the case. Their content is objectively boring, but people watch for personality. Normies want to watch others, they want FACE, for whatever fucking reason. Normies don't really care about whatever, they care about a human face plus whatever. They want to watch a face talk talk talk. This is incomprehensible to an autistic chud such as myself, but it is the fact.

Again, without personality, you are nothing. So either fake it or don't make it.

Next step, decent title and thumbnail, and the first 30-sec must be a "hook". Then, spam yourself on TikTok and Instagram to get people to watch your channel. But again, if you don't have PERSONALITY, this is meaningless. You can have the best titles and thumbnails in the world, but within 30 seconds normies will clock you as lacking personality.

To recap:
>1. Personality
>2. Title, thumbnail, hook

I hope you make it OP, I know I will.
