>>61553996bach when european mint was cool
I only bought like 3 ounces of silver in 2016 because I liked silver. It didn’t have anything to do with finance. Though I was also like 17 so not like I had good opportunity to stack.
>>61553996God I miss those days. I had to panic buy several hundred ounces of silver last month so my average cost per ounce has ended up around $39.
been buying since 2015; while the price going up is cool it also makes me sad because i cant stack silver right nowi have 3000oz of silver now and dont want to sell mostly because id have a hard time replacing it in the future. plus. 25% tax on something i bought tax free dont sit right with me. fuck our government
>>61554040Sell it in small amounts and dont report it to the IRS simple as
>>61554070yes but even $5k gets reported and i cant just deposit cashbut yes, best answer is what you say
>>61554070Rotate shops too, most financial instruments have a reporting obligation if they believe it suspicious / selling just enough to avoid taxes even if you never sell enough at one time to require it.
>>61553996I got in pre spike but not as much as I wanted, I wanted to build up my stack gradually
I bought around 30oz of silver around this time. Other 2 10oz bars came from ebay, hope they're legit kek.I don't even feel like cashing out because going to some shop to sell it sounds weird as fuck. I guess I'll just sit on it.
im gay
>>61554252Redpill me on kruggers. I like the design but I've heard they're bad for milk spots.
>>61554299None of mine have spots since I’ve kept them in humidity controlled container with desiccant bags. I got them because I don’t want coins with an ugly fucking hag on them. Would rather an old gentleman.
>>61554950Also I believe South Africa will cease to exist in its current form within the next 25 years so
>>61553996I was pre-pre spike My very first buy was June 4th 2010 , I bought 10 ASE for $20.05 each and I still have them.
Part of my receipt from 2021Can’t find the other stuff I bought, but it was below $20/oz I remember
First time I spent that much money at the time
>>61554973I learned all about South Africa about 10 years ago when researching platinum. That was a real black pill.
Date June 2022Spot price $21.2520oz $26.23 each$524.60 totalPeople don't realize how large the premiums were. Over 20%
>>61554077>$5k gets reportedI mean I’ve sold like $15k worth of stuff on Mercari and never put it in a tax form.
>>61553996I bought rolls of silver dimes for 21 bucks in 2002.And rolls of Franklin halves for 38 bucks in 1991.Never needed them, just thought they were neat.Still have them.
>>61554985My worst buy was 10-29-201123 ASE at $39.92 each.
>>61555028Spot was $14.48 when I paid for those kilo bars (17.5% premium)People thought the sky was falling at the time, and <20% premium sounded reasonableStill, if you told me gold will 3x and silver will 5x, I would think you crazy
wish i had gotten 100
>>61555077I saw Philharmonics being offered for $13 a pop back in March 2020. That's what got me into precious metals.I still kick myself for not buying any
Stacked 3300 ounces in the $12-$30 range. Bought mining stocks back in 2023.I've already made it.
>>61554040>is sad>has 3000oz of silverHow?
Sniped the scamdemic crash picobottom at 12€, but premiooms were jacked up back then so it ended up costing me 15€/oz (parity with USD back then, so $15). Got myself 4x5kg bars that day (640oz).Then i continued to slowly add tiny amounts consistently from ebay slurps up to now.
>>61553996400oz @ ~$30 in 2021
January 2020. Wish I had loaded the fuck up.
>>61554021>Though I was also like 17 so not like I had good opportunity to stack. But that was almost 10 years ago bro

I went to a local jewelry store and asked if they had any silver coins. He pretty much threw some canadian coins at me that he couldn't get rid of - I bought them at something like $19/ozStill got those little niggas - they're worth so much money these days, it ain't funny!Been buying more recently, but the 1214oz in my stack were all purchased at sub $25/oz. Feels good, man.
>>61555483it is never enough and i still want more
Anons I cri. Y I no debtmaxx
>>61554078>Rotate shops too, most financial instruments have a reporting obligation if they believe it suspicious / selling just enough to avoid taxes even if you never sell enough at one time to require it.Anyone know more about this?
>>61553996greetings fellow chads.>5 reichsmarks for £8
>>61553996I want to thank the schizo silver sages who opened my eyes to see the depth of what falsehood, naked greed, and avarice bankers will chase for eternity. I saw the luminance of TRUE LIGHT @30/oz. I waited too long. Thank you based silver schizos, May God Grant His Mercy to Mankind.
>>61557891My store requires a standard irs form filled out on any cash transaction equal to or higher than 10k. If someone comes in and gives me 9k over and over again I can check a box and file the same form but mark it “suspicious.” Ive seen one person do it and a detective actually called him and had him give some extra information. Never saw what it turned into. If for any reason you seem like youre structuring transactions for tax reasons, or if someone just doesnt like you, they could file the form and mark it suspicious. Thats all I know.
>>61558222So you work in a store doing this? And you're saying if someone comes in and tries to sell 9k over and over you fill a form on their behalf? How did you hear about the detective calling someone?
my first silver purchase, this was a lot of money for me back then.
>>61554012To actually have a position worthwhile you need 10k ounces.
>>61558296Im in retail sales. Its common practice in the us if you are taking cash frequently. I found out because i was standing there listening, its my coworker. I assume gold shops do the same since theyre constantly doing high volume cash.
I rember 15.00 per oz young Ns
>>61554973Gold Krugs used to be the number one Gold coin on the planetits why they were featured in Lethal Weaponhttps://youtu.be/064k-DQQK8c
>>61558551krugs and buffalos are the most aesthetic modern gold ounces imo
>>61558222>>61558511Solid information thanks anon. But what a fucking good goy for any LCS to actually check “suspicious”
>>61556246Ya ya I know I know, the context would be I bought silver for fun and didn’t have the awareness I SHOULD stack it. If that helps conceptualize what I mean.
>>61553996>only based bizbros who got in early1986 early enuf?
