Ok, maybe not silver and gold, but others like Palladium, etc. are beta traps. See the all time chart for palladium if you don't believe me.

There was a 18g palladium necklace on eBay for 800cad a few months ago and i regret not buying it. It was i think 990 palladium wth a Chinese clasp.

Looking at the chart without understanding what happened doesn't give you the full picture. Now what about today? What if the banks engineered another crash? I imagine China and other countries would buy up all the available silver at a nice discount making the supply shortages worse and eventually sending the price even higher. The old tricks won't work anymore pal.
