It turns out physical silver stackers were just a DHS psyop to get poor people to accumlate a stockpile for future stragic use at zero cost.

Silver exports will be banned from the US
Times will get tough but the comex will cap buys at $50/oz
Stackers will be forced to sell for food or to avoid the draft

If that's your situation I would do it. Don't expect access to credit or the ability to buy a house for the next 7 years but I do regret not doing it myself. Again, an equal worry is that this isn't 2000$ gold and 25$ silver. I would hate to buy a bulk order at 65$ when we end up in the 50s. Slower buys might be the best middle ground approach.

Who is selling to china, very few, because of export control from china jan 1, you might trap your money in china.
And for that Risk, west will need a way higher price to do it.

China price is like 90$/oz.

China sets the price because its the biggest physical silver dealer and uses silver, like pratical silver etc.

West is selling paper promises, betting on prices they can semi control by dumping etc.

hope it helps.

check the china AI man vid i link 3-4 posts up.

Cant set a % chance but I dont think its 0%.

>next month is more likely to retest 80 and likely higher.
>short term prediction is just over 200.
>i expect a blow off top in the low to mid triple digits, GSR is likely to touch 1:10 or so, but few will sell in this range.

>COMEX price vs ASIA price
you can mitigate this by playing miners. There's still a risk of loss due to as silver may become a locally priced asset (we're going to then see high risks of nationalization and price setting or regulations against buying silver for retail at that point) but the cash flows of well run companies like Wheaton, Hecla should justify higher prices and dividends. You could also "stack" in singapore or new zealand.

Asteroid mining is a natural means to increase the supply of money to adjust for the significant increase in wealth and welfare that was generated to asteroid mine in the first place. It is just like how the gold rush conflated with the utilization of land across the united states. There was certainly froth, but the additional wealth created by utilizing the land matched with the increase in the supply of gold.

Trump announced tariffs April 2, China responded immediately with export controls on rare earths.

Early October, China announces upcoming silver export controls for Jan 1.

Immediately COMEX inventory starts to plummet.

Here’s a quick list of the known unknowns I think most would agree matters. Note the below is not made public or audited

- LBMA free float what is it
- Comex free float what is it
- China free float what is it
- Comex registered (not free float) is it real? Or paper/leased out, Same LBMA
- SLV related to above. Is it acting as a reserve bank as we suspect? Is it mostly empty? They don’t release whether their holdings are allocated or leased. Unaudited.
- Same for gold
- Short positions of authorised participants (JPM etc). Or are they secretly sitting on stockpiles that outweigh short losses. Who’s naked who’s not basically.
- State of East West Relations. How much do these Asian and western bullion banks owe each other physically. Not public, geopolitical, strategic fighting.
- Exact numbers for global above ground reserves. Yearly mined reserves. I don’t believe any nation or player actually knows this. Secrecy and games abound.
>>
>>61562804
Because it was cheap, some banks needed balance their books, Basel III, and whoever has the most liquid gold market in the world gets to control the supply and effectively set the price.

Physical gold is money with no counterparty risk.

Yeah, its very hard to know because they own the game so to speak.

Consensus rumor is that London is close to empty of silver, and they are using 400oz early-1900s bar recently to settle, ie DEEP DEEP storage.

At some point the paper market will have to finally pay up or shut up, and its 350?:1 or whatever the real number is.

Rumor says that the western physical-silver is multi-leased and have multiple "owners".

Whatever the 'war status' of west vs asia/east is, money or silver will still be valid, maybe little bit harder to use, but will still have high/equal "local" (as in western hemisphere) value.

my 2 cent.

I think 1:1 with gold is over 50% likely.

Given the Chinese are making it import only. I think it’s not too unsafe to say nobody has as much silver as they will need. So it seems like a genuine supply problem due to decades of under pricing making investment a non starter. Though there may be some players who know this and have positions long before now. If JPM stockpile rumours are true. Truly an autonomous power operating above governments if true.

As for the paper to physical. We can see this from open interest. For a long time. But where was the metal leased from. Whose reported stockpiles are actually a fractional reserve bank system. More “assets” paper on the balance sheet that the actual metal. The bank equivalent being more loans out than cash at hand. My guess is the SLV and GLD etfs. They never say whether their reported ounces are paper or vaulted. It’s clearly secret inside this tiny metals boys club that’s existed for centuries.

1:1? I’ll guess no. But if it does. It will be momentary. And let’s be honest. We would all be minted well before this. I’ll be trading for gold well before. I’m older and risk appetite is necessarily smaller now due to personal commitments. We will see of course.

>>
>>61563008

I’m unemotional about this. But nobody has fill information. So I know my gold is mine. Has great potential. Will always be the most liquid of all assets. It’s literally money.

Now I also know silver has better growth before gold lifts everything higher again in the medium term. So I think to myself. 30% vaulted in Switzerland. No vat. Now if I’m honest. Looking back. I would have just paid that vat at 31 dollars had I known the compression of events. But that’s investing. We don’t have a crystal ball.

So next I’m thinking. I also know that even bigger gains than silver in the medium are silver miners. But that’s also taxable. And carries a certain risk. So I say. Let’s do 30% on miners. And of that 30%. Let’s do 60% bias towards silver minders. Over gold.

But later it may change back a bit to gold. So I’m always flexible. Never cornered in one asset or one type of exposure to an asset. But on the whole. I’m all in. Silver and gold. Just in various ways with various levels of risk that suit my life and responsibilities to my family.

I hope this explains my thinking on the question.

The reason I didn’t give a counter argument is because your points were clearly just wild speculation. You didn’t provide anything to back up your theories, and it doesn’t really seem like you thought out any of your points critically or with any kind of depth. You also seem paranoid, which is fine. I am too. That’s part of why I own silver,

After reading your post I realized that it ultimately doesn’t really matter to me because: I don’t sell silver, so pitching it to you doesn’t materially benefit me. You probably don’t own any silver, so it’s kind of a waste of time to debate with the peanut gallery, and 20-30 guys exactly like you are going to enter the thread today with the same contrived points and interacting with them is tiresome. It’s easier to just filter your id and go back to whatever I was doing

I’ve had versions of this conversation dozens of times with people here on /biz/ and no one ever really remembers or understands any of the points I make, and everyone becomes emotional and panics whenever there’s a dip like today anyway. It’s easier to just make fun of you because eventually you will just get bored and go away.

I could give a well thought out explanation of why I own silver or why I think other people should, but you probably aren’t interested in that anyway, it seems more like you just want to vent, which is fine, because this is 4chan and this interaction ultimately doesn’t matter to me or anyone else.

We’re just wasting time.
>>

Maybe I’m happy to risk 30% of my stack. For the potential that in “metals” say 4x. That 30% will 12x. It’s a calculation. It’s by I make sure I’m always 40% gold. So I risk big gains. But never zero out.

I’m not a gambler.
>>
>>61563055
>PSLV is a closed-end trust that holds fully allocated physical silver, allowing investors to redeem shares for physical bullion, which appeals to those prioritizing tangibility and seeking to avoid counterparty risk.

>SLV is an open-ended ETF that tracks the spot price of silver through a trust structure, offering tighter tracking of the underlying commodity price and greater liquidity

Basically SLV is easier to buy and sell because it's just paper tied to the value of silver while PSLV is less valuable because it's tied to the anchor of physical silver. People still say PSLV is better though since they are supposed to have real silver to deliver, so I want to spread the risk a bit by buying both.

I’ve got 33 oz old gold. If we get to a scenario. Where I lose my miners and vaulted silver. It will mean that gold will be far more valuable because the situation has become so much more extreme. Risk mitigation doesn’t mean you lose. You can actually gain if you assess it properly.

If you don't mind me asking, what percentage of your stack is actually in your physical possession as opposed to some safety deposit box or vault controlled by someone who is not you?

Physical silver coins still cost $80+ COMEX is essentially just a really really really boring video game. It’s not real life. Very little silver actually gets traded on that platform.

No crying in the casino.

historical value from 1k+ year ago is not the same as an anime meme coin

40% gold

If I get a whiff of danger. I’m always on the trigger to swap if necessary. And I’m aware of when that will be. Because I’m more political than financial.

For example. If I want my silver. And I think say in a week it might be difficult to source it. I can call the vault. Pay the vat and take delivery in a few hours.

So it’s a risk but acceptable currently and not too difficult to alter if I want. Couple hours on a work day.

Like my miners. It’s a risk and a potential day. But about 24 hours if I want to liquidate and rotate. I’m comfortable currently. If I change my mind. I’ll change my allocations.

You can allocate 10% to hookers and blow and spend a few years being an absolute degen no problem.

you talk like age itself is an intrinsic value.
Its not like a 100 year old man holds more value than a 10 year old.
The material itself has value, its age is a subjective value determined solely by the person that buys it. Some people buy art at IKEA, some at galeries.

If you’re hurt or extremely upset right now about a temporary $8~10 intraday swing, or you don’t have extra dry powder laying around to enjoy cheapies from the dip then the truth is that you probably shouldn’t be gambling in the first place. This isn’t the kind of game you should be playing.

Leave this game to those of us with a heartier set of gonads.

straight up is the only proof the claims about of silver could be true there's no reason for it to dump otherwise

If you dont see how blatantly manipulated every aspect of our (((society))) is, you should an hero. Or at least carry around a potted tree with you, it would replace the oxygen you are wasting.

It dumped because CME (the casino owners) got nervous and hiked margin rates and UBS got margin called and that spooked the market. Suddenly people realized that we weren’t just memeing.

If we were in a casino and the casino owner walked down the stairs to the floor and shot one of the customers point blank in the head and then walked off it would probably take a while for the air to clear before people started buying drinks and slapping hooker asses again.

I say give it maybe 48 hours and then we resume the financial apocalypse as planned.

This Man along with Jim Rickards is the reason i bought Gold many years back, his advice has made my wealth go up ever since, all those years he has only talked about Gold as a safe haven, now he has jumped on the Silver train.
