invest in Bonds
>>61562445I understand bonds better than Brosnan's face here
Owning an individual bond/T-bill to maturity is not the same as owning a basket of bonds via an ETF or fund.
>>61562689obviously I mean ETFs but if you're a wizard obviously you know what's up already. bond bear market of the past several decades is set to reverse
>>61562772>bond bear market of the past several decades is set to reversethesis please
>>61562445>loan money to governments as they begin the next cycle of insane printing and yield suppressionOne of the few consolations of the Biden years was watching everyone who lent him money get absolutely fucking destroyed for years
>>61562612It's a meme from the old internet.
I think this time is different and doing the money changing things like before isn’t going to work
>>61563024bonds will be the safe bet that emerges from all the fuckery going on
>>61563119Yes I know that but I can't see anything else. That's all OP is all I ever saw.
>>61562445Are Japanese bonds any good?
No
>>61563179>the poster child for YCC which has begun to fail in the last monthNo, Anon
Can I buy bonds on Binance?
>>61563153>Yes I know that but I can't see anything else. That's all OP is all I ever saw.
>>61564953Sorry I was distracted :(
>>61562445>>61562689Aren't bonds these weird things which give you less yield the more people buy them? So the opposite of normal stocks? If they get more attractive in the future, wouldn't that mean I have to buy a long-term bond quickly, before the (quite pathetic) yield drops even further? And how about bonds ETFs, their return would drop over time together with the bonds yields, wouldn't they?
>>61562445Bonds are hot garbage right now and no one wants to touch them.
>>61562445dumb, to make bonds work you need to have a lot of money already, they aren't for proles like me. i guess you could speculate on the etfs but even then there are better arenas to play in
>>61563148That's a pretty weak thesis.
>>61562445I already have a lot in ket, at this point I would just prefer that the bear burn everything and that the whole cycle start over again, I'm tired
>>61565826bonds are due for a breakout they've been in a bear market since the 70's
>>61569601Weren’t they due 40 years ago?
>>61565650But isn't the right time to buy something exactly when noone else wants to touch it?
>>61562445>Loan the usa moneyNah, itll just be sent to israel and theyre already doing that with my tax dollarsHow about the government start paying ME interest on all the interest free loans we give it from our w2 wage garnishment every paycheck?>Oopsies we took too much money from your paychecks here's the extra back each april thanks for letting us borrow it all interest free for a year :^)
Do not fall for the gov psyop and buy their shit bills and bonds you are gonna either get defaulted on or soft defaulted on via money printing. Usa prob wont default due to the image hit and panic it would cause so theyll just print money even harder skyrocketing inflation and making your sub 5% bonds worthless when real inflation hits double digits.
