>>61564421>>""""entry level"""" position>>minimum 3 years experience REQUIREDQuick lesson about life.Being the smartest person ONLY matters in academia, everywhere else who you know is more important than what you know. You either need to know someone in the place you want to work or figure out a way to bypass HR and directly talk to someone in management. You USE to be able to go to job fairs and directly interact with managers.
>>61564421Its because this "job" "listing" is fishing for some visa retard that is trying to renew their visa status frantically because visa's expire after 3 years.

Ah, the modern farce distilled into two lines: one must possess a trifling “entry-level” title, yet somehow have already traversed the labyrinth of experience. One cannot help but admire the delicate irony: a world where inexperience is simultaneously demanded and scorned—a true theatre of the absurd for those daring enough to apply.

Serious posting now, I did 4 years of undergrad + 2 years of grad school. This is considered the norm for my field. By the time I was done with school I was almost 26. After over a year of living with my parents sending out applications all day, every day I barely managed to get a job at a horrible local firm. I’ve been here for 2 years now and all I can think about is eventually leaving this hellhole, but the job market is so shit right now that I’m scared I might be stuck here for many more years. That and the experience I’ve gained working on theee awful project likely won’t be seen as very valuable if I want to apply to better firms doing better work.
>>61564421I got a job at a printing company and I hate it, and I might not even try to look for another job considering how difficult it is to find a basic one. I've even resigned myself to accepting that my actual salary is whatever Ket gives me
>>61565033*** if you want a job in a highly saturated area.If not then applying will just land you a job. Fixed that life advice for you.
