what's your excuse anon?
>>
learned about btc on /g/ around 2013, created a coinbase wallet, and downloaded a miner. but i stopped caring after dealing with the noise, heat, and energy consumption. still defended btc to others, even though i didn’t have any, mainly out of laziness, kek.

i had since 2009 and fucked up every opportunity

i even bought litecoin at like 0.3 cents and deleted it because i thought its a bitcoin ripoff that will never be worth anything
>>
>>61565348
>you had 6+ years to make it from crypto
That doesn't mean its to late
>>
im a passive pussy honestly, and it's been 8+ years for me

Extreme depression and anxiety, my mom took money from me that I wanted to invest in PLTR and Monero back in 2021. I wanted to buy 2000-2500 shares of PLTR, maybe 500 monero, and just leave for years because I knew it would grow. If I did that my holding in PLTR would have been worth north of 300k. I feel super dejected because the small handful of opportunities I identified as being lucrative did end up working out (stocks exploded PLTR, NVDA and CAPR, XMR exploded too) but because of what I mentioned before, I basically did not have any money to take any serious stake in these companies. My mom is slowly paying me back, so far I got about 20k in gold and $15,000 cash from her, but now I am 30 and moving across the country for law school and this is money I can't afford to use speculating. I have very little savings and student loans to worry about and I'm about to take on another 150k in student debt (LOC). Not happy but I just try not to think about it and stack as much silver and gold as money allows me to. Gonna work hard and invest aggressively after law school and hopefully retire early.

My hard drive got corrupted.
>>
>>61565405
how do you get bullied by your mom? do you live with her? If you're the breadwinner why not just leave and live on your own? If you have so much conviction in your stock picks why not just buy them and help your mom when you actually have the money to do so?
>>

This, I passed up over six figs in a single trade being too concerned about raping the chart for everyone else.I also just cashed out of BTC sub-1k to go to college and didn't trade only to graduate into post-h1b tech so it's over for me.
>>
>>61565348

you gotta have some balls to make it
>>
I didn't have an income back then.
>>
>>61565348
when I was younger I was just living life and having fun, didn't really think about money until recently

I was 17-18 at the time so a minor legally here. I don't live with her anymore. I could have (still could) sue her for breach of fiduciary duty but I don't want to sue my mom that's fucking shitty. We have a loving but complicated relationship it's a long story. That said, I no longer have much conviction in my stock picks. I did in the past but I feel that I missed the opportunity of a lifetime with Capricor, Palantir, cheap XMR and NVDA. I'm making one last investment in a biotech company because 2026 will be a big year for them in terms of clinical trials and FDA decisions but it's very high risk. If it works out maybe I can 3-4x my money hopefully, beyond that I'm fuckin done. I became a gambling addict for the past couple years and I lost so much of my own money chasing after what I missed out on and it's just not something I want to do anymore. I largely have it under control, I just need to focus on building some kind of future for myself and constructive things now, primarily finishing law school, working out/eating healthy and going to church. I wish I could retreat from society most day to be honest.

yeah im pretty fed up with crypto also, i'm going to move on to other things next year
>>
I did make it, and I rage traded it all away

t. ex-Multi-Millionaire

>ZOOOMAHGAWWWD BRO IF I HAD MILLIONS ID DO X, Y AND Z, HOW COULD U LOSE IT BRAH! OMG U R RETARTED BRAH

Uve never had multiple millions sitting in ur wallets, u have no idea how you would operate and what you would do, odds are ud lose it all too
>>
>>61565348
I dont have an excuse because i made it
>>
>>61565348
I didn't believe in crypto, and only started after covid. Maybe 2-3 years ago.
>>
>>61565653
Buddy , did you at least buy a house?

>U've never had multiple millions sitting in your wallets, u have no idea how you would operate and what you would do, odds are u'd lose it all too
This, OP.
Investment world is full of scammers and fraudsters.
You need to become millionaire several times in order to 1) be comfortable with a lot of money ,
and 2) not to lose it to retarded trading and scams.

And some of you were told from the start by parents that you are poor, money is hard and you need to work hard and its hard to keep it .
So, in order to keep it you'd have to change your thinking.
>>
>>61565348
I don't gamble on ponzi schemes.
>>
>>61565653
Kindred spirit. Got up to $20M, down to $8M now and well on track to losing it all in the next few months.

>b-b-but just peel off a couple million and stick it in index funds while you still can!!!
No. I WILL rage trade my stack back to $20M or die trying. I WILL let myself be permanently mentally dominated by my old port ATH. I AM a gambler and I would rather die than quit while I'm behind. It just is what it is.
>>
I doubted myself and listened to others. I will never do that again. I am always right and they are always mouth breathing fluoridated cattle.
Buying $500 monthly until the 2030 peak @ 1 million, selling half and then letting the rest ride. Some Etherium and XMR as well. If boomer stocks ever fucking dip I'll buy some too.

I am always late to everything and quit too early.

This lol
I had a ton of nerd friends who told me about Bitcoin in 2012. They were the same guys who told me about Minecraft what it was still a shitty browser game. I thought it was funny that you could generate free money on your computer, but once I learned how worthless 1 Bitcoin was and how long it took to get one I gave up. I was also 18 and barely tech literate.
>>
I remember buying ounces of weed for 30+ btc. Ah well, it's not like I would've actually kept that shit 8+ years and would've sold from 100-1000 no doubt

Had 3 mil in unrealised profits in 2022. Had only been in crypto 3 years at that point
>my god this is so easy
>if it's worth this much now think how much it'll be in a year from now!

fast forward 1 year: -80%

>th-thats okay, i'll just keep waiting surely it'll go back up next cycle haha

narrators voice: it did not go back up next cycle

Early success is a curse

I dont have an excuse, I remember in 2012 I was reading in the news about bitcoin hitting $10 and I thought I should get into it since it keeps going up, but then never bothered because I didn't understand it, then I remember being on 4chan and dogecoin being spammed constantly and I didn't get any for dirt cheap, however I am a millionaire because I created a company and sold it so I still made it, however it should have hundreds of millions if I actually bothered to get involved earlier
>>
>>61565348
I did make it though. Nanny has a root canal today and the second nanny quit is my current gripe in life.

I already got what I wanted, I paid for all my college, If I can't do the same thing every month with the rent now, that's another problem. I'll probably do it when my snowball reaches its peak

I slightly made it for a few weeks in 2021, then I went back to not making it. Waiting for my second wind now.
>>
I didn't take profits, I'm an idiot. Could have retired.
>>
crypto is gambling. you don't make it you get lucky. you're not a financial guru you're a gambling retard. hope this helps
>>
>>61567330
If you are still around, can I ask why you think this? What are the near erm catalysts that you believe will drive NVAX up? I actually did briefly hold NVAX LEAPS back in I think it was 2023 but I sold shortly before it briefly spiked to $20 because of the hype around the bird flu in Australia.

I didn't buy until 2022, most of my picks were wrong and I got in on the cycle where crypto basically died. I really wish I was here from 2019-2021, that was probably the last chance for retail to make it.
