I'm bullish af as well. As phenomenal as the move in silver was these last two months, I really don't think 1oz of silver at $70 is all that high given the fundamental analysis behind it. That just speaks volumes for how cheap it truly was this whole time. Sure, when I look at a roll of quarters or a 10oz bar I can feel the sting. But I think silver is on the cusp of its watershed moment where it revalues as the industrial metal it truly is. Look at what Pd did between 2009 and present. It was $250 per ounce and made a run to $3000. I think that is a good idea of what we have in store for ourselves given even some normalcy in the global economy & banking sector.

Much of the wealth in the country is actually a function of savings being erroneously held as IOUs instead of actual deferred consumption. An actual economy needs people to consume less than they produce and the function of saving your money in banks and debts and credit is that ALL value is being consumed all the time. It is an axiomatic fact of the universe that you can not spend the same dollar twice. There is no magic accounting trick to make this work in the real world. What we have is a ponzi. The grift is that the banks hold all the gold and they could care less if you lose your ass collecting credit.
In this exact same vein, this is how you win: You actually collect valuable materials (no counterparty and the value is not a function of credit like housing) and you simply wait for the inevitable revaluation.
It's just that simple folks: The fallout will manifest in the collapse of the purchasing power of credit. Not much room to expound on that idea here, but that's the most concise way to put it.

There has to be some unspoken rule amongst billionaires about buying too many hard assets.
It's probably why they spend so much money in stupid shit like yachts and luxury goods.

It's consequence of so much fake money. The billionaires net worth is all fake, and if they were to spend even a fraction of it on important goods they could probably grind a functional society to a halt.

Imagine if billionaires were truly free to do as they wish, they could buy the entire food supply of a region or buy other things like that.
I'm kind of surprised David Bateman is being allowed to get away with what he's done.

On the matter of Spains inflation, the prevailing theories of bullion influx causing inflation don’t seem to hold up when you consider that all of Europe between 1500 and 1650 experienced a degree of sustained inflation that amounted to about 2-3% a year. If you look at the interest rates at that time throughout Europe you see actually extremely high rates, suggesting a dearth of money not a surplus. There was also the effect of cartels, which cause economic distortions raising both costs for sellers and prices for buyers.
The story is more nuanced and complex than the money supply theorists argue.

Get several old safes, used GSA surplus is fine, fill them with lead so they weigh several hundred pounds each, but hide your silver somewhere else.

Alternately spend some money and get a TLTR30x6.

Or just hide your silver and don't talk about it IRL.

Liberty seems to be a good manufacturer from what I've seen. If you just want to store one rifle and/or shotgun as well, I think you'd be fine with a single standing safe. Plenty of space for 500Oz in there. If either collection outgrows the safe, just buy another one.

1971 if your a newbie
1965 if your in the game for a little bit
the Crime of 1873 if your giga red pilled on precious metals and the currency system.

they planned this for 150 years in the making.

Trimetal system = real money = used for EVERYTHING no exceptions.

Gold = large transactions
Silver = for the everyday, average transactions, services
Copper = small transactions, change to break down silver.

simple. easy.
Total fiat death, and don't be fooled by a "gold standard." the gold standard is what was used to kill silver.

Farmers were able to pay off the banks and their debts in silver, and then it got outlawed, and silver was demonetized (even though it was still in coinage) in favor of a gold standard (gold was harder to obtain at the time, and they pretty much fucked over the common american, and all the rich had it accumulated) and with this gold standard, was heavily inflated with filthy greenbacks IOUs for gold (suprise, not enough gold) which soon lead to use being on a fiat debt slave standard.

look, once you know what jews do, you'll understand.

everything has to go back to before 1873.for a monetary metals system nothing short of that.

Even APMEX looks to be sold out of a lot of their products. For those not stacking back in the day, June 2021 or so there was a "silver squeeze" or something. The price ran to $33 or so and APMEX was not allowing sales to come in over the weekend and premiums of products were skyhigh. A $30 Eagle had a $12 premium. Normally it would be $3-4.
We actually might see that soon. It looks like APMEX is trying to reload with some silver on order, but it will be interesting to see if they have to halt orders again or not.

This may eventually be a thing for international settlements between countries, with repositories in neutral countries (not Switzerland) like Dubai, Singapore, etc where "tokenized" gold can be redeemed for physical.

The problem with it inside a country for use by citizens (subjects) is that it depends entirely on the honesty and integrity of the government in power.

Our current governments in %currentyear% (including Canada, US, UK, EU) are irredeemably corrupt, incompetent and crashing out faster than Laura Loomer at an Nick Fuentes conference.

Drowning men (and governments) do irrational, unpredictable things in order to keep their heads above water for just a little while longer.

A few years ago Turkey confiscated jeweler's gold inventory during a currency crisis.

I wouldn't trust anything that is controlled by a modern government, least of all my own.

Surplus government safes are cheap and heavy duty if you live somewhere near where they sell them. Unironically the bigger government surplus safes are cheaper than the smaller ones. Nobody wants a 600lb+ safe.

If you get a cheaper "fire safe" be advised that they have very little actual security, hence they make great decoy safes if they are heavy enough.

Secrecy is the best protection. Having a gun safe, you might have people who want to take a look inside who might see your stack. Just something to think about. It's better than nothing, but if you invite people into your home they'll probably assume you have PMs in there.
If silver goes 1:1, imagine someone suspecting you have 20 ounces of gold stashed in your home in a plastic tube small enough to fit in your pocket. I think it's a good idea to assume that stacking is going to get pretty scary as far as home safety is concerned.

I really doubt your gonna be jumping borders in North America if fiat collapse happens. Maybe in europe this is more plausable, but in a fiat collapse scenario, there will be very little giving a shit about enforcing borders, unless the border guards are getting paid they weight in food every shift.

You should worry about securing and protecting your wealth, and how to discretely bring it with you for barter.

>How do I get it across borders or bring it on a plan? Convert it to gold and hide it in my pockets?
your best options are probably...
>1. eat the spread and sell and then re-buy
>2. eat the spread and sell and re-buy via segregated services
>3. provide it to a service like bullionstar's, silvergoldbull's, or something else, and have it moved.
If you're under 5,000oz, you're being dumb with risk by taking it on a plane or over the borders. If you're over 5,000oz I don't think you'd be asking these questions.

>I thought bofa and citi got out their short positions
We can't know for certain because there's no transparency. CME doesn't publish the info on WHO is short, just the total number. The bullion banks aren't publishing that information either

There is currently over a billion ounces in shorts outstanding at the COMEX, with lots of them likely in the $30-$40 range.
https://ycharts.com/indicators/comex_silver_combined_total_reportable_short_positions

The numbers represent contracts, so you have to multiply by 5000 to get total ounces. It looks like October was the all time high, but they had a come to Jesus moment and someone likely used the Oct margin hike crash as a chance to get out form under their shorts, but jews gonna jew,, so the numbers crept right back up again. I think the bumping up to $85 cause some of them to really see Jesus this time, so I suspect next numbers relased shortly will be down again.

Anyone else measure their real earnings in silver? I used to earn 1ozt of silver an hour working an entry level job, now with my "big boy" job, I earn about 1/2 ozt an hour. Bix Weir was tracking the U.S. Mint's production and they've brought it to the minimum for a while now. My personal speculation was that they were still producing but simply all of the production was going to a large bank.
Legally, the U.S. Mint is OBLIGATED to buy silver at market price to mint coins to meet demand. They are not allowed to charge more than their costs, either so they are not allowed to profit.
The reason they likely did this was to jack the premiums up on Eagles which would have the effect of pulling up premiums on generic.
Fuckery in the silver market has been going on for a long time and a disconnect between paper and physical was always the endgame. It's exciting to be living through this given we already know we end up fabulously wealthy.

That is desperation. It's like trying to stop a car by sticking your leg out to create friction against the asphalt. They tried to put the brakes on wherever they thought they could and they hoped to jack the premiums higher which won't affect the short position. No one really cared and the supply is getting bought out as we speak. Apparently the cash-market is settling trades for $85-95 per ounce. I bet the bullion banks go bust if they try to print that price on the ticker. They're bust. A papersmackdown won't have any impact because people aren't "buying" the $75 paper silver here because they know the vaults will be wiped out and the trades settled in cash. Also, any mine that gets out from under their royalty companies (the front capital to buy the metal at reduced pricing), why wouldn't they happily agree to put their metal on a boat and ship it to China for $95 per ounce? That maximizes shareholder value. Wallstreet banks hate China because of these export restrictions. Once the metals leaves China it is gone so they can't control where it goes domestically. The COMEX is basically bust and essentially a charity-case at this point. They can't afford to pay more. So as these leasing agreements end and mines regain control of their product, ALL of the ore will be flowing to China if not bought directly from industry domestically at a price that matches or exceeds the Shanghai exchange.
So, the goose is cooked. There may be a lag and we'll probably see capital controls on mining exports as well, but its over. The supply does not exist and tamping down the price will only exacerbate the problem.
I don't promote FOMO as it is usually a bad idea at ATHs like this. But be content with what you have, because this is the the commodity that breaks the system. Your credit/IOUs/cash are not the wildcards you thought they were. Turns out resources are not endless and boundless like the $46TN bond market suggests.

I think she was placed there for the sole purpose of keeping a hand on the silver spigot. The present situation did not magically arise, people have known this was coming for decades. Think about the lengths they go to to jack up premiums on 1oz rounds. I say it all the time that 800M ounces can not even give every American 3 ounces of silver.... Retail is a sleeping, hungry giant that can blow this commodity market out all on its own. It's probably already happened. Do any of us think APMEX will suddenly be restocked with boundless silver choices 2-3 months from now? They're all sold out of a lot of things, and we have no idea how much is being pre-sold. APMEX also jacked up their silver price on the weekend. That should tell you everything.

That's not a pretty picture. Those stock prices have ample room to collapse 80-90% and who the hell wants corporate bonds when the service sector economy grinds to a halt. It'll take endless money printing to keep all this garbage's nominal value in tact. The Fed already destroyed their balance sheet in 2008 and they'll finish it off probably in the next few years.
The only thing that wins out are assets with no leverage.
Cash and credit are fungible, and if you don't know the difference you'll be the sucker that loses. Remember this: All debts are paid. They are paid in cash, dilution, or write off. You can't just max out a credit card and then out it on a rocket and shoot it into a bond and pretend nothing happened. To create a debt, REAL VALUE changes hands. And as far as the tax-cattle are concerned, you put real work, purchasing power, time, energy into your paycheck. When you gave it to Wallstreet, the Gov, or insurance THEY were the ones who spent it. All you got in return was overleveraged stocks and bonds. Every last dollar invested in the system is probably close a complete loss. Even your employer matching you'll still lose out. That is the only way to deal with the $120TN unfunded liabilities and $46TN bond market and $40TN stock market.
We've all been robbed.

Anyone looking into gunsafes or cabinets for storage;
LOOK INSIDE THE DISPLAY MODEL FIRST!
A lot of cheaper cabinets use sheetrock (with a carpet overlay) as their fire cladding. This rusts the SHIT out of guns and WILL TARNISH SILVER.
Better to get a bare sheet metal cabinet for this unless you can afford the steel-and-concrete big boy safes ($$$$)

I noticed one of them yesterday has some typos in the script which made it for an awkward presentation at times. The content is surprisingly insightful into market and banking mechanics that actually makes sense.
As to who it is and what their ultimate purpose is remains to be seen. It appears bullish and promoting people hold them metal in terms of scarcity. My thesis that I have not seen addressed is actually how silver relates to banks and most importantly to the bond market. I am often bewildered how little attention it gets as if it is a benign growth and not a fatal diagnosis.

it was only recently translated to english last year or two. I watched some ebay seller, maybe the original translator, trickle sell copies of the book. they regularly sold for bids close to $200 until other printers caught on and started selling them as well. it was fascinating to watch.

There are small issues with each step of this that means that the conclusion is way off-base. E.g., the social media shitstorm since the pandemic has shown that people aren't actually in bubbles, even though they'd really, really like to be; they've actually had to fight hard to build normative feedback loops because the algos keep shoving hyper-engaging ragebait in their faces. Also, America is not generally wealthy, it's absolutely wealthy in pockets, which leaves many, many more people on the flip-side and in poverty ranging from relative to abject.

Not to take away from the notion that modern capitalism is an eldritch horror beyond our control or understanding, because it very well might be. But that's something broader and deeper than, "We're all controlled by the 'puters."

It's elementary logic:

>stocks represent productive assets
>gold and silver are non-productive assets

Technology and consumption get more widespread and effective with each passing day. By investing in stocks, you get a slice of that pie.

It would make zero sense for gold, silver or any other non-productive asset to outperform stocks. If that were the case, entrepreneurs would simply close their doors and start stacking.

Don't be a retard. Rocks will never outperform companies.

You should look at Spanish language sources, they often give a very different story than english language sources. at least that what ive noticed since im bilingual.

i remember reading that most of the wealth from the americas just circulated back into them as Spain invested heavily in them. El Virreinato de Peru and New Spain aka Mexico was richer and more developed than mainland Iberia at some points. Spain invested in building some of the first universities all over the americas.
>>

The inherent value of companies lies in their capacity to produce and generate profits, not in the currency that denominates them.
>>
>>61567884
>Rocks will never outperform companies.
The problem is the system can't survive without endless amounts of leverage. The economy will collapse without $2TN of deficit spending. We have $120TN of unfunded liabilities. We have a $700BN trade deficit. And to top it all off we lose HALF of our tax revenue to paying interest on the debt and it grows exponentially every single day.
Government, banks. Wallstreet, Insurance, healthcare, real estate - these are all tied together and they are all bankrupt. Banks have historically recapitalized themselves by REVALUING gold. They did so in 1933 when they brought gold from $20.67 to $35 per ounce. That revaluation burned people who owed gold-backed currency notes. It was the gold owners who not only survived but PROFITED handsomely.

Are buffalo nickels not a reference to the american-indian war? What war has silver nickels?

Yes, they generate profits in a falling currency.
You invest 10 ozt of silver worth $300 in a company, and in 1 year it generates $500, so it looks like a $200 profit, but silver goes to $70/oz by that time and that can buy only 7 ozt now with that $500, so you actually lost 3 ozt silver.
It's better to just hold physical silver.

the longpost from 2017 contains quite a bit of prophecy, who'd have guessed sitting in front of PC and social media all day after covid habits would cause a loneliness epidemic, which in turn means a big part of society is now bombarded with basically propaganda more than bouncing ideas back and forth with actual humans. Throw in a healthy dose of dead internet theory.
I was finding this out the funny way when I realized this summer while out drinking with friends that zoomers are mostly trying hard to get anywhere while being quite based and well-read on a lot of topics - from being terminally online - but way more literate in the real world than the internet told me. Turns out real life drifts onward and doesn't stop just because you decided to stay home. Turns out the fucking normies disappeared. Heeb divide and conquer caused this, it's "pick a team" to the extreme. It also causes people to remember like one fact about other people max. "Oh that's the Japan guy. Oh, that's the horse girl."
And they really think all they do all day is that.

Hopefully someone posting on 4chan a decade and a half after Don't Forget You're Here Forever.

I think you're discounting Discord (everyone born before 9/11 does, myself included).

I have about half the silver he does and it's unironically because I haven't had a paid job in 6 years. I will warn all anons here to be very careful choosing who you marry. Make sure it's someone who has the same values you do, and if you had a rough childhood, get therapy before choosing a life partner.

Just bought a smaller ladle I liked for 25% off spot on ebay just to decorate my shelves more. If you looking for bulk discount silver check the bigger ladle auctions right now, some decent deals if you got cash.

The easiest thing to do would be for us just to pick the "us" team and settle the other differences but that would probably be too easy.

I mean, that would require reparations and letting rednecks shoot wolves or whatever.

It’s probably the most liquid form of silver outside of the comex 1000 oz bars
>>
It’s very easy to buy/sell very easy to transport, and it’s easily the most fungible form of silver.
