>>61570678if it's any consolation, dental care in america is a scam as well. dental 'insurance' generally costs $500-1000 a year but it only covers a portion of the first $2k of treatments in a calendar year. after you hit $2k you have to pay 100% out of pocket. also plenty of things are outright excluded from the plan. when my sister got braces my parents had to pay $5k out of pocket (this was back in 1999) because their plan, like many plans, didn't cover orthodontic treatment.
