I am so fucking close to selling everything. All these years, all the holding. I don't know what I'm feeling but it's not a good feeling. Tell me what to do. Convince me to sell or to hold. Honest opinions and best arguments.

If you spend years or decades doing a thing, and then suddenly decide not to do that thing anymore, it leaves you feeling empty and without meaning until you find something new to do to replace it.

instead of changing habits, why not just keep doing what you've been doing, especially if you don't have something new lined up to replace it?
>>
>>61572779
do you have anything better to do faggot? hold until you find a job if you do not have any and then let life take it's course. time will pass anyways if you hold or not. if you cannot take more punishment from the elites then sell and come back when you feel better
>>

This is that newfangled chad-TPG isn't it? You young whippersnappers and your internet. Type your own cheeto-dust-covered hands or get the fuck out.
>>
I mean, what are you saving for? Retirement? A ticket to early retirement? How old are you? How much do you save? If you’re like 50 and holding tech index funds, yeah maybe don’t.

If you’re 25 and you have $40k in the market, then stop worrying.

>I am so close to selling everything
Depends on what you are holding, retard. How are we supposed to give an informed opinion on something we know nothing about? Is this the latest Mossad psyop?
>>
>>61572824
I'm older than you. A boomer. We had to learn how to type english. Unlike you retards.
>>
>>61572848
Fine I should be more specific. I have over $100k in crypto and for the first time in a long time I have begun seriously considering selling everything. I am 30. There are you happy?
>>
>>61572893
Just sell and start your life in 2026 on a big note. Deposit it in bank deposits or bonds and enjoy your freedom. Leave while you still got 100K. What is in your hand is not a life. What you see on the wallet can change in a matter of seconds. Sell fgt. Start a family. Get a 25 yr old gf and leave
>>
>>61572893
I’m sort of in your position, I have $50k in bitcoin and VOO. Like 80/20. Also 30 years old. I’m not selling, period. What would you even do otherwise? Hold $100k and see the market go up 20 percent next year while you sit with your thumb up your ass, trying to buy a dip or crash? Unless you need the money right now, just leave it.
>>
>>61572911
Buddy, what’s OP going to do with $100k in the bank? Let it sit there and accrue 3 percent interest? The market might go up 50 percent over the next 2-3 years. It might crash. All I know is he has a lot of time.
>>
>>61572922
I get your point. But the next option is keeping it invested which even silver can do a -20% overnight. That is 20K. Idk about you but it is about making some money and then retiring. How long do you want to stay in this imbecilic manipulation of the markets? We need new blood btw
>>
>>61572779
You could sell a percentage. Sell 20% and think it over for a few months.
>>
>>61572935
I’m not selling anything until 2060. So if OP is doing the same, he shouldn’t be selling and buying back in, because that’s how you get burned. I’ve been convinced twice the end was nigh, sold only to see everything keep going up. I’m not doing that shit again. Trump almost annihilated the market in April and I sat there.
>>
>>61572779
By selling, could you enhance your resilience for the coming years? Get stronger, better equipped, stockpile properly? Then sell. Are you already strong, trained, and supplied? Then hold, just in case.
If times get truly tough the greatest capital is human capital. Make sure to find your folk.

To add to this, I just did this with some silver miners I've owned for 5 years. Took out what I put in initially basically.
>>
>>61572939
I actually did sell one of my altcoins for $15k a few months ago. It would be worth about $12k today so I guess it was a good idea.

>>61572951
>2060
You mean to write 2026 right? 2026... right?
>>
>>61572965
I’ll have $90k or so by the end of 2026. I don’t need the money until 2060, assuming AI doesn’t take over. What the fuck am I going to do with $90k in my checking account?
>but there might be a crasherino noooo
So be it.

Bear market ends when the system breaks.
>>
Ok so basically what really prompted me to write this post is that one of my bags is dangerously close to a price support level that, if it breaks, will absolutely drop it another leg down to another level of support. Basically I'm waiting for this floor to bounce the price up (hopefully) or break downwards. I will report back to this thread to inform you what happens. Pray for me.

Imagine selling now when pic related is the market sentiment, and the public sphere is realizing that everyone works 4 months out of the year FOR FREE because of rampant government fraud. Narrative will soon shift to the futility of printable paper money, and next bitcoin.
Couldn’t be me

PLANNING TO LIve another 10 years?? hold

dying within the next year?? sell...
>>
>>61572779
It's a roach shakeout so you should sell
>>
Sell. Buy. It's all so tiresome.
>>
Are you ever going to report back?
>>
>>61573080
Anon is right.
The fact you're considering quitting means that we're near the bottom.

I'm happy to report that my bag did not break the floor and actually pumped a decent amount today. Thank you baby Jesus.
