How much meat does /biz/ consume?I spent an hour or so on youtube discussing meat consumption with people on a meat consumption statistics video. It seems most people have no idea about real world economic facts. Many people were surprised Hong Kong consumes so much meat per person and many were saying things like “why didn’t my insert third world country make the the list?” Examples include Africa (they have something called braii?) and Serbia and other third world nations like Turkey, Pakistan etc. Also, one guy from the UK is especially triggered and keeps telling me Americans consume the most processed foods.
I don't eat any meat.
>>61572896Too poor or what
Meat is cheaper than quality food. I live my life based on survival and I don't inflict unnecessary suffering.
>>61572929Meat is quality food.
>>61572882any kind of meat? every meal
>>61572882I Eat one day eggsAnd one day meat
>>61572932It is, and very cheap. You're the one that brought up price.
I eat essentially meat and salads only, no empty carbs like potatoes, rice etc
>>61572948Meat literally is the most expensive per kg and pound though.
>>61572882I only eat meat. Mostly grass finished ground beef (close to 70% fat) from a local farm, and some goycattle NY strip and ribeye slabs from costco that I cut myself. I could eat a lot cheaper but the current setup has me eating for about $400 with very little time spent shopping or prepping, tastes great and I feel great too. Eat about 2lbs each morning.
>>61572882Ops mom consumes alot of meat
>>61573291Imagine the shits
Also if any of you want too food budget max, get the 80/20 or (ideally) 70/30 meat tube from walmart for like $3-4 a pound.
>>61573308I shit maybe once a week and its less turd volume than my cat, very small shits. Fully cured my hemorrhoids and constipation. You nearly fully digest meat except for some tougher collagenous proteins.
>>61573045On average people don't buy the same quantity of meat as they do other products, in the US at least. Meats are the cheapest things people usually buy. Again I don't know why you keep bringing up price especially when you know so little about it.
>>61572882No blood magic here, thank you.
>>61573338Meat prices cost more per kg than most things.
>>61573358Per pound? Yes. Per bill? No. It's not a hard concept to understand. People who only buy meat spend less than people who don't.
>>61573373So what? I am saying people view meat as expensive. Because per pound it is.
>>61573373I mean you can technically buy beans and rice or some shit but that's a miserable experience. I agree though, meat should be the core of your diet if you want a cheap diet that tastes good and makes you feel good.
>>61573386Yes, eating meat is cheaper. I rather have a larger variety of food and meat is unnecessary so I avoid it to reduce suffering.
>>61572882I look like this and I hold ETH.
>>61572896You'll get brain damage in the long term.
>>61572896If Jordan Peterson is any indication, then you're making the right call
>>61572882Im vegetarian but I have a meat binge every few years, tides me over but even that comes with guilt months later. Idk how carnists do it oh wait brain worms
>>61572882I try to consume a bunch of meat, usually fall short of my targets though. I enjoy Costco pizza too damn much. I try to have a meat-heavy meal later in the day if I just have a pepperoni slice for lunch.Costco chili has an enormous amount of ground beef in it. I've found literally fist-sized chunks that had never been broken up during cooking. They must simmer the stuff a long time because it's always been cooked through. Also a lot of beans, unfortunately, but I do think there's more meat than beans.I also tend to eat a lot of cheese, mostly either cheddar or swiss, aside from the mozzarella on the pizza.
>>61573045>per kgEuropoor detected. Meat in the U.S. is generally pretty cheap. I can get a whole fully cooked rotisserie chicken from Costco for $5.49 ($4.99 plus tax). That's roughly 3lb of meat ready to eat.I've seen pork on sale for as low as $1.49/lb lately, and eggs are back to $1/dozen thanks to Trump.
>>61575280We have cheap beef and really cheap chicken and pork. On the flip our lamb is so fucking expensive that we import it from Australia and its still less than half the price. Room temp IQ butcher subhumans also ruin a lot of cuts by trimming pretty much all of the fat off of them.
>>61572896>>61572929Eating cock and its semen product is not vegan you faggot
That bird looks like its finally ready to settle down.
>>61573291>$400How many lbs does this get you?
