A job is how you generate capital, not fucking around on investments. Investments are a scam, a job is how you generate cash.

How do I get one of the jobs

be one or more of the following:
>brown
>yellow
>red
>have aboriginal/ native lineage that can be extremely loosely tracked back prior to colonisation by an anglo country.
>LGBTISALSOFKGUEWNSODNKI+/-
>female
>an combination of the above

Now that's the tricky part, ain't it

but your boss wants to get rid of you.

a business is how you actually generate capital, but nobody smart enough to start a successful business is going to be posting on 4chan.

at least that's my experience when I explain how to start a successful business to people here.
>>
>>61574138
No he doesn't.

>>61574143
No it isn't.

Starting a business is for those too unintelligent to seek employment.

Employeeship is how you generate capital.

For anyone in North America looking for work see what ULINE has to offer. I'm surprised that even now they're offering like 2x minimum just to move boxes around a warehouse (more for night shift). I was a twig when I did that sort of work years ago and even I got used to it (was not a sporty fellow) so many people can definitely handle it. Money from warehouse work just happens to be what I first used to invest and catch multiple 10x, a 30x and apparently I have a 200x incoming but we'll see just when it happens. Even if it's locked in at this point I don't know the date.

there's no point, you wouldn't understand anyway

Anon get that pompous shit out of your head. Weve seen Elon Musk post on 4chan before and if you lurk biz enough youll see a fair amount of people with decent portfolios.

Its not a thing of
>No one smart enough to start a sucessful business is going to be posting on 4chan
Rather: averagely people on 4chan have an issue with the process of starting a successful business because they look to AVOID their life becoming something where they get led around by the nose by how they make money. Sure you can argue once you become CEO that doesnt happen, its just Zoom calls but for most people it isnt gonna be like that and there will be a years long period of genuinely being the boss.

the only two things that matter are connections and being able to talk confidently about things you absolutely do not understand. the first generates trust out of thin air and the second makes other idiots feel confident and comfortable too.
Obviously that doesn't provide anything of value but simply doesn't matter in the bubble era.

I love my cat but she be fuckin my ass up fr. Don’t trim her nails cuz if I was a cat that shit would piss me off.

> start a business
> lose money the first year
> make $100k the second year working my ass off
> taxed at 30% and left with only $70k
Why does the government disincentivize small businesses? I could have just kept my old job and made more money
>>
>>61574143
You only start a business if you have a novel idea or found a gap in the market, locally or in the wider market. There's a reason the vast majority of small businesses fold in the first year or two, it's not that they are all "not smart enough".
For example, jet washing driveways and other shit, you can find 20+ people locally who already do it, one or two who are well known, established, and trusted with a client base and there's little you can do to change that.
>>
>>61574143
>Just start a business bro!

>Walled garden regulations prevent new players
>Huge established players already
>Need connections to get start-up capital

Y-yeah.

If you have an actual original idea which can't be copied by others, maybe.
>>
>>61574143
nope if you are smart you come to the conclusion that if starting out as a poor your best chance of success is employment and investment every time
as with this option you have certainty of cash flow and can plan your life ahead with some degree of confidence, the gains from your investments are then just the cherry on top but unnecessary for maintaining you daily lifestyle

answer me this op: how does one today acquire start up capital and how does how afford rent during the cash burning phase

cause you see much like with a mortgage the only competitive advantage starting a business has, is if you can do so leveraged hard with other peoples money, but then your problem becomes access to other peoples money for business which is even more gate kept than everything else
>>
>>61574072
This. I literally don't know a single white male who's gotten a good job in the last decade.
>>
>>61575527
yes, once you understand your employer is paying half of your 15% FICA you need to make at least 10% more self-employed than you would working for someone else. And for all the hassle of running a business you should be making twice as much as an employee. Or more.

the IRS charges businesses more to keep employers from pretending everyone is a contractor to avoid paying taxes. If your boss decides to call you a contractor to save on taxes, you end up owing those taxes. So you punish your boss for that. Conversely if you actually are a contractor, you charge enough money to pay the extra taxes.
