Its literally the laziest thing ever. Just keep your hands off your money.
>median german saving rate per month: 250 Euros
50% of the population is too retarded to save more than one month of food or something.
>>
>>61575074
But thats per month, so they do save. Contrast the USA where a third of the population has less than 1000 dollars in savings.
>>

Consumerism and tiktok.
You're literally a second class citizen if you dont have the newest goy-phone.
>>
>AMERICA IS SO GREAT OUR SALARIES ARE TWICE AS BIG AS YOURS
meanwhile spain with half of gdp per capita of america has the same median wealth as america

People. Still not using brave or ad blockers kek

I am glad people make it so easy for me.

Spaniards are house poor.

I read somewhere that most of the germans are tenants too.

>Home Ownership Rate in Spain decreased to 73.70 percent in 2024 from 75.30 percent in 2023. Home Ownership Rate in Spain averaged 77.60 percent from 2007 until 2024, reaching an all time high of 80.60 percent in 2007 and a record low of 73.70 percent in 2024.

most people lack the emotion of delayed gratification. they only feel the sacrifice they make from not spending their money and don't get rewarded by their brains for saving it.
>>
>>61575099
Thats right. Pre Corona renting was pretty cheap outside of the big cities. You could rent an apartment for like 600€ a month all inclusive close to job opportunities like Nuremberg. Germany has a narrow mesh of roads which makes commuting easy and affordable.
>>
My mom spends 700-800 per month...on groceries for 3 people.
>>
>>61575124
Im spending 200 for two adults without missing smth.
>>
>>61575124

50% of German population is one of the following
1) boomer living off gibs
2) arab living off gibs and drug money
3) eternal student living off parents money
none if those is saving up money (officially, the Arab has a dozen uninsured lockers filled with drug gold). boom, median tanked.
>>
>>61575239
Thanks for clarifying that. Didnt see it yet from that perspective.
>>
>>61575074
Real tax with VAT is over 60% and they increased the co2 tax (yes we do that in Germany) and the health tax again. It's much harder to save in Germany.
>>
>>61575375
compared to american standards yes but realistically if you earn 4k/m before taxes which even untrained peons earn now, you should be able to save at least 1k/m.
>>
>>61575239
>the Arab has a dozen uninsured lockers filled with drug gold
i saw that news about some bank getting robbed in germany and there were a lot of arabs that were upset, I instantly thought that they had a shit ton of gold from criminal activities

My wife literally can’t stop spending my money. I hate her so much it’s unreal. If she weren’t the mother of my children, I’d wish her dead.

Advice to anyone reading that: marry someone that can make a budget in excel and stick to it + has a bachelors degree

My gf is too lazy to spend money.
>>
>>61575414
4k per month before taxes is the average so half earn less. If you live on rent and have kids it's impossible to save with 4k before taxes.
>>
After bills and food there's about £50 left at the end of the month.
Flat tyre? There goes the previous 4 months of savings.
>>
>>61575124
I use to spend 500 on vending machine food when I was in tech school

Yeah the US has a huge portion of brainrotted people that really literally live paycheck to paycheck and finance everything. They can't really do math so they only think about things in terms of the monthly payments ("if what I make in a month- rent- car- whatever else>0" then that's ok) never mind the interest rate or loan term. As soon as the most basic "unexpected" thing happens (car needs repairs) they're hosed

because women like buying stuff and simps want women so in order to get women to like them they buy stuff for women.
>women like buying stuff for themselves
>simps buy stuff for women.
it's the chads and incels that are the outliers when it comes to saving money. chad was probably in some frat has business major friends and they talk about stocks. incels sit at home and dont want to participate in society gambling on crypto. if you want women or are a woman you have to participate in the cringe society which is based on consooooming. the real question is why are women so easy to market towards? why are women so prone to advertising? you could say fomo and wanting to be accepted by the tribe but is it really that simple?

>4k/m before taxes
why do americans always insist on using before tax amounts
is the dickmeasuring contest urge truly that great to pimp the number up so hard
4k € gross is about 2.6k net in germoney, saving 1k out of that would be a challenge if you pay for your own rent, groceries and transport as an independent adult
>>
>>61575713
Do you guys get a pre tax deduction like 401k as well, or is it all pension based? I’d argue that also constitutes as saving as well. I know plenty of people who live paycheck to paycheck but max out their retirement accounts and roth.

My gf has a master degree in science and a phd in being a cunt.

>50% of the population is too retarded to save more than one month of food or something.
fair but you must take into account that the german government takes 50% of their income to distribute it among ahmeds and muhammads and other EU member states because germany feeds the EU
>>
>>61575086
>meanwhile spain with half of gdp per capita of america

idiot detected, opinion discarded. Spain, a country with dramatically less GDP than most single states lol

Normies are normies, not because they are stupid, but because they subconsciously know that going against the grain will cause them to be ostracized and are unwilling to stick to what they know might be true. They won’t build an identity of their own, instead they opt for something more comfortable; normalcy. This traps them with whatever ‘the current thing’ is, which, in a functioning, healthy community, usually isn’t maladaptive. When the culture they inhabit goes bad, they are the first to become zealous enforcers of whatever twisted social norms arise since they are the most tightly coupled and reliant on the zeitgeist.

Effective advertising captures this instinct and direct it towards consumption. Normies will do anything to not feel like they are abnormal. Saving and investing requires pretty much the exact opposite mind frame

I save up 1500€ per month @ 4200 salary but I also eat mostly oatmeal and shit at work to save water. 600€ rent is a pain though, I want to buy some ruined cheap house on a large property to get out of rent hell soon.
>>
>>61576471
Not bad. I save 2400€ with a 3300€ salary.
>>
>>61575074
They have an addiction to debt. They fail the marshmallow test every time. My Niece doesn't work, her Husband works constantly, they have two kids and they are constantly taking on $800-1000/mo payments for brand new vehicles they don't need. Financing 35" tires and shit. It's honestly insane. Then I'll buy something used that I negotiated a great deal on and their minds will be blown.
>>
>>61576109
Its scary trying to convince normies they are wrong about an idea they accepted due it being socially popular. I tried doing that to a christian fundamentalist normie and it went terribly. I would argue all religious fundamentalists are normies.
>>
>>61575074
90% are ngmi
>>
>>61575074
Normies don't see much of a point in saving money, because it's a multi-year, multi-step process where you won't see the benefits of it for a long time.
It's an active decision on their part, they just choose to spend it all on mostly useless, temporary, perishable shit because they think it makes them happy and/or cool.

>if you want women or are a woman you have to participate in the cringe society which is based on consooooming
That's not always the case. Spoiled women are like that. Just get a non-spoiled woman that went through significant hardship in life and came out on top of that. Bonus points for financial PTSD, she'll help you save money.
