$100-110 conservative, $250-$300 optimistic
>>
>>61575389
Between $150-$300; much higher if retail gets involved.
>>
Retail dealers are having supply problems. This is a significant and understated signal.

A few threads back an anon said there was 3 margin increases for December but I could only find two. If you know the third please reply to this post.

NTA but it must have been for the 12th December as there was the first sell off.

of what?

>>61575421
>Early December (effective around December 12, 2025): Approximately 10% increase. Initial and maintenance margins raised from around $20,000 to $22,000 per contract (for non-hedge positions).
>>
>>61575389
2026: mid year $200. EOY, $450

They could be withholding inventory to justify higher premiums. That being said I placed an order on the 22nd and it hasn’t shipped yet. The vendor has been reliably shipping in less than 5 days for the last few months so they are either very busy or delayed from the holidays or probably both.
>>
>>61575407
>Retail dealers are having supply problems.
It will get worse. Backwardation and high lease rates make it impossible for dealers and retail bar and coin manufacturers to hedge. This creates retail supply distruptions.

We saw this in October.

Looking forward to New Year. Between metals crypto AI. Everything points to stasis ending. Things breaking hard one way or the other.

BTC is in a quickly narrowing wedge. So much leverage requires constant growth that outpaces the cost of the margin. I’m expecting it to break low if the turbo-printers aren’t engaged. Where will that capital flow. We will see.

I’ve given up on that. But looking at the macro.

- Euro bond crisis looming
- Russia takes Ukraine prompts panic and possibly danger moves in Europe.
- China trade strangulation attempts escalate and they push the button on critical areas like rare earths that may trigger a supply crisis
- AI pop looming
- Private credit is wobbling very badly. Looses and pops growing (See Ox Talks channel for tracking)
- Mercantilism and sea war grows
- All above fuels more fear and uncertainty as globalism breaks apart, supply chains become chaotic, monetary system reconfiguration gathers pace.
- In Europe I expect an acceleration and further grab for surveillance powers, speech curbs, opposition party banning, and general advance of totalitarianism as the existing EU elites and their vassals in each state cut off the rungs to power to stop the coming wave of popular rejection. Elections won’t matter or choices will be controlled. Population prepared for war. Increasingly coercive measures.
- The above will lead to extreme tensions between US and EU. As US realises Europes elites are nuts and are going for kinetic war. NATO fracture. Americas and Pacific dominate American concerns.
- Turmoil in Europe. Deindustrialising, immigration anger, no outlet for popularism. Regulatory strangulation of people.

If I think of more I’ll add. But generally the geological, trade, debt and social situations seem to be degrading. Fear and mistrust of old agreements and trading relationships seek safe harbours.

I think the supply levels are at a critical stage and industry will have to price out retail.
If the vaults are emptying out and production is 850M ounces per year then that is only 4grams of silver for investment and products. This can get out of hand real fast and probably take the price to untold levels and cause who knows what kind of monetary fallout.
$100 seems negligible in the short term and without paper shorts tamping the price I don't see what stops silver from running to $200 and beyond.
Paper shorts can want their metal price lower all the want but that can only exacerbate the supply issues?

Also all the silver is antimicrobial chads, cobalt is a critical component of B12 and you can get that through contact with cobalt. Keep a cobalt coin in your pocket to fondle if you want to be a high B12 chad on top of an antimicrobial chad.

We don’t know is the answer. All we know is…

we’ve had crazy price action in the metals futures markets. Even in completely dead hours around Christmas.

Buttcoins have vomited.

And private credit is showing alarming signs of stress and fraud indications.

And the SRF is being tapped for record amounts. On new years Eve and Day. It’s odd.
>>
>>61575840

Honestly. For metals. The best answer would be. All three of the above. Would mean we’ve a systemic liquidity and counter party confidence crisis.

Repo market spike in late 2019 doesn’t get enough attention, and it was elevated from the dot com crash through 2008, and this recent spike after no activity for 5 years to me suggests that we are in the beginning stages of a pending market shakeup in mid to late 2026.
>>

>know
Yes, you're corect in that we don't and can't know for certain whether or not it was any of the listed SIBs. However, process of elimination is a thing. If JPM is arguably the most insulated from the recent happening (most silver, no shorts), then there is a 99.999999999999999% chance it is not JPM.
Again, smart money is on UBS, HSBC, Citi. BoA's exposure is/was reportedly larger than the repo differential, so arguably it's not them.

Okay. So. Some bank. On the list below. Has a serious need to liquidity (cash). So now a bank has options here. They have a balance sheet. On that are assets (the interest paying loans or bonds they own etc). And liabilities (the money we deposit in banks). Now they keep very little of the money we deposit. They lend it out or increasingly speculate with it. So say they do something like this. The have bullion bank division. That speculates on the silver market futures. But they’ve gone “short” the price went up. And now they’ve lost their “bets”. And have to take losses (buy metal, settle cash whatever).

But because they stupid beta were so bad. They need something like 35 billion. And they don’t have that much cash because they are gambling addicts with our money.

So. They have assets. And the Fed as lender of last resort to protect the banking system. Has a facility where you can sell/deposit/pawn some of your HQLA (high quality liquid assets) for cash so you don’t default and maybe trigger panic.

So you take say a HQLA like US treasuries or MBAs (mortgage backed securities) and despot at Fed. And get cash. So you can settle your liability/loss. The world doesn’t hear you fucked up and confidence in the “solvency” of this bank is upheld.

Now. Heres the rub. WHY are these banks having to use the standing repo facility at the Fed? Why cant a bank just do what you, I and banks do all the time? Just sell those Treasuries MBAs on the open market??? Think about it. Why is the Fed having to do it

1. They are so over leveraged/borrowed. They know if the market or other banks get wind of such losses panic and mistrust could take hold dealing with them. It’s that shaky.

2. Those assets would have to be marked to market and dumped. And the Fed doesn’t want 30 billion treasures hitting the market and the world seeing little appetite. Bonds go down. US viewing cost go up.

3. Above causes more withdrawals. More SRF. Bank runs

>>
>>61576130
>That guy did it wrong and was not using colloidal silver
You are correct. Colloidal silver doesn't turn one blue. Silver choride will turn you blue, silver oxide will turn you blue because it turns in to silver chloride when it hits the HCl in your stomach.

When making colloidal silver electrolyticly there are two separate steps.
1. Silver is converted to ionic particles (which are partially soluble in water)
2. A reducing agent like glucose (called a reducing sugar) is used to reduce the ionic silver to a metallic silver nanoparticle.
3. For higher concentrations of colloidal silver a capping agent is used to prevent the silver nanoparticles from agglomerating.

If you just stick two silver electrodes into water you get ionic silver. If you drink a lot of it, you will turn blue.

Properly made colloidal silver is safe and won't turn you blue according to the available medical evidence.

Go here if you want to learn how to make it.

Ridges make uniform clipping apparent to even a normie.

>I need the money for expenses. If silver price is low during a personal emergency, I'll be fucked.
so sell slowly for expenses now and lock in a good price and keep a buffer of fiat so you never feel pressured to sell your precious metals at a bad time.
>t. I've sold a lot of investments at horrible times to pay bills and stuff and it has always fucked me
>>
>>61576591

seriously how stupid can you be. If you can barely afford food/rent/fuel after your paycheck you should reconsider your job. I fucking hate working myself but living in stress like that isn't worth it, are you bald?
>>

Restaurants are apparently hiring a lot these days. Construction too probably. Should be able to push them for higher wages since they're more desperate than they let on.
pro-tip: if you see the kitchen mexicans taking ubers home after work (when the restaurant closes etc.) then they're illegals. Report them to ICE and then apply after they're all deported.
>>
>>61576600
have you never lost a job or had major, unexpected expenses? must be nice having a perfect life.
>>
>>61576548
12 oz Au is definitely a solid chunk of change, enough to do well with if you play your cards right. Personally I think you should trade 3-4 ounces of that gold for silver since you'll get a higher percentage of gains, but I'm guessing you're a euro and that you get fucked sideways on taxes with silver so maybe not. I agree with everyone else on getting a job, tho. The less you have to dip into your savings the better, any kind of income to help prevent that is better than nothing.
>>
>>61576368

I wonder how many big moves will be transacted on the first trading day when it is a Friday. I imagine all eyes are on China and that will dictate what happens. What can they do when news reports of $89, $95 and $150 silver transactions and coming out and one has any faith in the COMEX and LBMA to deliver on the $72 paper silver they are selling. How do they close these shorts out with empty vaults and an export ban coming from the worlds largest refinery?
Interesting times. This could cause a market crash because prime brokers are often the ones who own equities that they lend out to earn fees. If the prime brokers who control the silver short need cash, they could start rehypotheticating shares and cause a massive sell off. This probably would have happened already if not for these loans from the Fed.
Does that put your mind at ease? The banks we give all of our money to are all effectively bankrupt and possibly every equity on the planet has been counterfeited with no counterparty solvent left to close the positions?
I am a lot of GME and I am hoping for a squeeze because I've seen the due diligence that naked shorting exists. But, damn, do I sometimes really question if Bix Weir made the right call all along. You can't trust any of these paper garbage. It's all a stinking pile of shit. Even operationalists who build companies seem to skirt past the monetary issues at hand here. What happens when $30-70 billion dollar overnight loans are not enough to plug the holes. If that's not enough then you may as well put all your money in an IOU that says "I owe you the moon". You'll never get paid on any of this garbage, at least not more than the value you originally put in.
