I also got serious about checking out IRL estate sales and have done well (you should monitor www.estatesales.net for listings in your area), my best was a sale where I got over 2 kilos of sterling and some gold for $133 but I know that some people luck out and can slurp a few hundred ounces at a single sale. Probably 85-90% of my sterling has come from eBay though, at an average cost under $10/ozt asw through 2024. We gotta pay more nowadays and the competition is more fierce than I've ever seen it but there are still plenty of deals to be found if you know how to optimize searches and learn what types of items and which categories are most likely to harbor unrecognized "sleeper" silver. Not everyone has the eye for it but several anons get it and have done very well over the years, it seems like you're a natural too so keep sharpening those skills.

One is a PF70 on the proof, another one came in the original mint box with COA from 1990. The RP is the PF69 but a beautiful coin nonetheless. Picking up pieces are definitely the play here while premium is lower.
