technically it was even less than that because getting the hallmarks required a titre (purity) of at least .958, remède (margin error) included, so usually the silversmiths added .01 to avoid accidentally getting too close of 958, so it usually is .965-.970 stuff you get.

Which makes the .3 left of mystery even sadder. Not sure if .3/.4% of copper is having much influence on the durability/toughness of the alloy...

>FRENSMARK UPDATE
Previous update >>61608443

First, I read all the supportive posts I didn't reply to in the last thread and want to say thank you to you anons.

Mint 4 replied to my email pushing approval, serializing, and finish. Here's an AI summary of their email
"The company mentioned they don't provide serialization on the edges, but they can handle it on the front or back sides instead. They said they're able to create a layout, though for the digital model, they'd require upfront payment covering at least the die tooling costs. They'll include a sample photo of what semi-polished looks like along with the quote, and it might not arrive until Monday." (I didn't want to post the email word for word)
________
Still haven't heard back from Mint 3 or 5. Or a reply about approval before payment from Mint 1. No word from anony still. If this mint approves us, then unfortunately serial numbers will have to be on a face. But we have to look at the brightside, and as I've said before, go with the company that will make these. We will need a final vectorized design. The plan is to open a short window to presell these so we can beat the volatility of the market best we can from the pre-sale to paying the mint. Was looking into selling off squarespace, but it looks like shopify has quicker payouts, but higher fees. Still looking into it.

>>61609758
No idea, maybe it was some odd medieval rule who dates back from before they could precisely measure the purity of silver down to few %s? So they left a pretty generous error margin?

Things weren't really super accurate back then, if you ever handle early medieval coinage you will know because it's impossible to find a coin with the correct weight kek, it's always off, and sometimes pretty dramatically when it was tiny copper/billon coinage they didn't really bother to calibrate with precision, i mean 50% off the supposed weight kind of imprecisions lol.

the serial on the sides is better. it keeps the design clean, and it allows you to show off your coin without "doxxing" yourself.
you can see sometimes anons here will even censor the serial of their generic bars.
also serial numbers are often hand stamped they they dont always come out looking so pretty. this way it wont matter it the numbers are wonky on the side.
a reeded edge with a blank spot for the numbers is good enough.

>Silver will CRASH!!!

Here in the U.K we're already basically fully detached from the spot price, on TheSilverForum (where britfags buy/sell silver P2P) everyone still trades silver at $90-100/oz regardless of what the paper price is, when complained about the response is generally "Well okay, if you want to pay spot price, go find someone to sell you silver at spot price." which of course, you can't.

Unless it’s just the companies fleecing people for what they can because of FOMO.

For world leaders to start actually using nukes in war, someone needs to use a nuke in a war without mutually assured destruction occurring afterwards.
I'm not sure how or where this would happen, but it would have to be done by one of the smaller nuclear powers, a nuke launched by Russia, China or America would trigger too much instability and risk everyone else panic launching their entire arsenals.

That sounds very cool. You have the right designs. THe one you responded, too. I don't know how making our own dies would help us unless we have our own press. The mints charge for the dies. Everyone has different ideas. The 1980 high is equivalent to 130 inflation adjusted. I guarantee Denmark will just sign a 99 year lease over the strategically useful part of Greenland to the US, perhaps with a deal to take a percentage of the revenues from whatever minerals are extracted. Surely there's no way they'd be stupid enough to turn a potential money making opportunity into a military defeat.
But Trump taking Greenland would cause a short term pump, but depress prices in the longterm since they'd likely be extracting some amount of Silver from there.
The same goes for Canada, but you'd also get the potential benefit of tax laws changing. Though I really hope Trump doesn't take Canada, we have enough Indians here as it is.

Pretty cool. Right now, shopify looks like the best option due to fastest payouts mixed with least likelihood of getting taken down, but with such a large sum coming in so fast, who knows. I hear you but I think it's accurate. And from a selling pov we have a situation where everyone who likes the years the way they are, will buy the change and be happy with it, but not everyone who wants it to just have just the date will buy as is. And I think they have a good point. I understand not wanting to make a bunch of changes but we are still in the process of finalizing a design. We haven't even gotten the mock-up approved passed sales managers and other changes may have to happen based on the capabilities of a mint that approves us, such as serial numbers, etc. If you can give me a better reason for it to say 2003-2026 besides the fact that it's been on that design the longest, I'm all ears.

Ok, I'm really going to work out now. I'll see you guys at 9 PST. The Frensmark brings us together. The dates are completely incorrect as is.
I have proven my point. I'm pretty sure almost all would agree the dates make no sense. 'Von' can stay. As Apu wears many hats. And I was just stirring up the pot when bringing up von. But the dates are unequivocally incorrect.

Now if you want to try the upside down airplane stamp route were the screw up ended up exponentially raising the price... maybe the screw up on the dates will do the same for Frensmark coin.

kek, they also make shady shitty figurines and candle holders that are just thick electroplate over a plastic core, but they mark them .925 without indicating that they're even worse than weighted sterling and have a shit yield.

Occasionally with the super intricate ones they’re a mold that they put over some stone or some shit. The outside label says 925, but often if you dig into the product name and markings it’s weighted. Hella Hasidic. I collect Judaica because it should be smelted, and maybe one day will be.

Forgot to add, had very similar pieces come up. Specifically one called: Vintage Sam Philippe, Judaica, Sterling Silver Trinket Box. Jerusalem 3000, 1997. If you look into it, it’s weighted.

yeah, they cast resin/plastic into the shape of whatever they're trying to jew people with then paint the resin with something conductive that silver will deposit on in the electroplating tank. I bought 2 decent sized figurines of rabbis blowing a shofar horn for $40 and they only yielded an ounce each. You'll be pleased to know that both rabbis were sent to the furnace where they all belong.

Here is the philosophy: inflation and money printing are modernized coin clipping. The government can’t clip coins they can’t get their hands on. The biggest grift was telling people that printing money doesn’t devalue the dollar. That’s literally all the pontificating needed, anything else is superfluous.

Basically all good sterling in the USA is clearly marked "STERLING" (and in the UK they use pictorial and date-letter hallmark stamps) so it's pretty easy to verify. Unless they're pre-1860s coin silver like these old pieces or something made long ago somewhere without a standardized hallmarking system then anything good will have proper hallmarks.

WW3 is going to be a China and Russia roflstomp if the Jews don’t let nukes fly. America doesn’t have shit for manufacturing anymore, China will properly supply Russia with infinite munitions to delete Europe’s 20 tanks. And they will march clear to Paris. If China had been seriously supplying Russia with weapons and munitions this whole Ukraine shitshow would have been over in months. Jews will probably give orange golem orders to fire the nukes though once carriers start getting sunk. Scary times ahead.

Consolidation of regional power and resources before the dollar collapses the western economy. Then production ramp up for WWIII they won't call it that though for optics reasons. Poor Americans will then have no choice but to work in the factories making tanks and missiles. Expect a lot patriotic propaganda and nationalism to inspire zoomers to enlist. Europe will bear the brunt of most of it and then America will be dragged into it again like the previous two times. Afterwards expect a coalition of authoritarian nations and a banning or heavy taxation on religions. This war will be fundementaly escotological in nature which will make the survivors anti religious. As it will be seen as dangerous to society.

>You'll hear news reports about all the immigrants leaving to avoid the draft to make you think you have your country back
>There will be a large crackdown on trannyism to make you think that you've won the culture war
>Women will be mocking men who refuse to enlist and saying they refuse to date them
>Your Social Media feed will become less censored on everything except anti-War related things
>Politicians will be promising a handsome GI Bill (which they won't deliver on)
>They will talk about tradition and bravery and stuff
>Your Boomer grandparents will be told to write any draft dodging grandkids out of their wills
>They might even take the chemicals out of the food and water that make people more docile so people will be more aggressive and prone to making reckless decisions (such as enlisting)

I definitely made the right choice avoiding link when I first began but if certain things happen the plan is to rotate into it
Ultimately the plan is profit from the virtuals and rotate all that into physical, tangible goods and it's panned out well so far considering it gave the an opportunity to add 400+ ounces to the stack
Of course there are people who've been there when this stuff was like way way way cheaper who are even better off

I think a lot of them sincerely think they're intelligent, they think they've "figured" the market out. They throw out financial jargon in the hopes that someone will believe they know what they're doing.

The reality is most of these people are just degenerate gamblers that delude themselves into believing they're "investors" when in actuality they're just liquidity for the big fish.

In reality the average person can't invest, they can only speculate, and speculation is nothing more than a protracted gamble.
