Most of us here were part of the innovator group and are feeling great with our gains.
The early adopters are hopping in now and they have seen the situation with silver. Soon enough we will surpass $100 and all the early adopter will get to pat themselves on the back.
This will cause a wider degree of fomo and the early majority will start rushing in. Many will likely get burned because with each new group they will understand the fundamentals less and less. After the week hands are shaken out the price will continue to rise and you can see how the fomo will play out.

Fuck this star capthca!!!!

Silver has outpaced inflation or at least managed to beat the decline in quality of McDonald's food.

>>61614344

I'd actually like to take back a bit of what I said and offer Fords as an option. They have problems but a lot less than Chevy. Every Chevy I have been given at work fucking sucks, from Tahoes to truck it doesn't matter, something goes wrong. My issues with fords are less serious. It's shit like windows not rolling down because of an over the air update and weird shit like that
>>
>>61614345
these tier list need do be updated to todays prices.
>>
>>61614205
I'd split it if you can. Gold is definitely lower risk right now, but silver may be a coiled spring in the short term. It's hard to say. I wouldn't buy too much silver with the intention to trade it for gold right now. If you're under 200oz Ag for yourself and per spouse/child, then just go for silver imo.

24oz x and a 6 month price target of...
>225/oz = 5k goybucks(somewhat likely)
>400/oz = 9.6k goybucks (somewhat unlikely)
>700/oz = 16.8k go bucks (rather unlikely)
Short to medium term (up to 10 years) silver probably hits 4 digits, so there's that.
If you're never selling, I think a good expectation if shit actually hits the fan is that 20oz will get you a shotgun/rifle and a case of ammo. An ounce will probably purchase a two weeks to a month of food.

Imo if you have 10oz silver, 1 oz gold outside the banking system into your hands you're doing better than most people who can't afford a 1000 problematic bill. Work from there to 20-50oz silver and 2 oz gold.

I’ve been having a pretty good success rate of getting old silver world coinage or random half ounce .999 commemoratives at 1:1 spot or below on a marketplace app, it just seems like a sort of yucky way of going about it and in some ways I’d rather have a big stack of all clean fine silver rounds like you see on here often, but I suppose ultimately it doesn’t really matter; silver is silver. And I do love my pre decimal George V and Victoria coins and my reichsmarks.

Don’t mean to pour water over your campfire fren, but I have 360 oz physical and my hope is it turns into a 75k down payment at best. Just keep your expectations in check and don’t stress yourself over hitting 100 oz, and I’m confident you’ll have opportunity to get more physical cheaper if you are patient in the near term

you will buy and sell at the price you deserve.
look at the wiemar hyperinflation chart and ask yourself if you could have really held out to the last bit of the parabolic rise.
i doubt it.
look at thte boomers who sold at $50 recently because they thought a 2x was good enough and that they could buy again when it crashed to $20.

when you buy and when you sell will be just as important as how much you have.

it's like bitcoin, where even if you bought at the very beginning, you probably would have sold when it hit $100, or $1000. What psycho would think to hold till $100,000.

all that to say that you can do a lot with 100 if you make the right moves.

>my hope is it turns into a 75k down payment at best.
When high inflation/hyperinflation hits, the real value of things drop considerably because income doesn't keep up with inflation, and at high inflation rates. Effective purchasing power goes down.

Another phenomena we've seen in places with very high inflation like Argentina is there are no long term mortgages. When inflation was 50% per month, you could not get a 30 year mortgage.

As a result, most properties sold for cash at prices people could afford. Financialization and artificially low interest rates allowed for assets like properties and equities to inflate well beyond their effective real values. Another example today is how productive farmland is overpriced to the point where it's not economically viable to a small farmer who doesn't have access to super low cost money and large economies of scale agricultural equipment.

Expect property to decrease in real terms up to 80% in any serious correction. 350 oz should buy a very nice piece of property or a respectable house in a nice town because after a serious correction, very few people will have any real liquidity.

yes the best way to go about it is to have a goal of what you want your silver to get you, and then do it when you have the chance. It will be difficult to time that parabolic rise i mentioned.
a $75000 down payment seems like a small dream for a 360oz stack, but like I said, we will all buy and sell at the price we deserve.

I don't think American banks are long, aside from JPM being net long. I fully agree with the pic, but the "never get me to trade my silver for gold" isn't a good idea IMO, but not a bad one either, and I'll explain why. That decision is based on emotion, not on cold hard critical thinking.
Right now, it's the best idea to get all the physical silver you can get.
Over time, the GSR ratio is going to go down significantly, but nobody knows how much. I wouldn't be surprised if it goes 1:2, so 1 silver = 2 gold, but I doubt it's going to go over that. I realistically expect something like 3:1, however I believe it's going to happen only for a relatively short time.
That means if you exchange 300 ounces of silver for 100 ounces of gold at that top, then you wait for a pullback to a 8:1 which is the mining ratio and you exchange the 100 ounces of gold for 800 ounces of silver, is going to help you gain MORE silver than just keeping it still.
By doing this, you increase your physical silver stack by 2.6 times.

but people here should do what they think it's best.
I think it is healthy to have at least one person voicing a different opinion and explaining the concern.

I think silver production will increase significantly over the next 30 years, so long as there isn't a WW3/worldwide financial collapse.

The cure for high prices is high prices, and I hope the prices for silver eventually get very high. There won't be any meaningful increases in silver production for at least 12 years, and in fact, annual production may in fact decrease over the that 12 year period especially if we have a severe worldwide recession that causes a decrease in demand for zinc, lead and copper.

No. Not according to statements he's made. He DOES have a substantial physical gold backup. He doesn't view physical gold/silver as an investment, he views it as inflation hedged savings, so for him silver is just a much bulkier form of gold.

>Another phenomena we've seen in places with very high inflation like Argentina is there are no long term mortgages. When inflation was 50% per month, you could not get a 30 year mortgage.
this makes sense. with super high inflation, things are way too volatile to be able to lend on a 30 year time scale

Something I've always thought was interesting was Ezekiel 7:19 it talks about silver and gold in the end times.
Silver will be thrown in the streets and gold will be treated as a thing unclean.
Never understood why the distinction.

Yes. There appears to be a significant difference, but silver is inherently hard to photograph, so if you can see a dramatic difference between the two in your hand, you need to go to the LCS and get it checked ASAP.

Someone made a good point about ETFs. If you want to buy gold, but can't afford an oz, put some money into the gold ETF as savings. If the price of gold goes up, your savings increase, when you have enough saved, cash out the ETF and buy physical.

It's just a gold price hedged savings account. You could do the same thing with PSLV if you're saving for a kilo or 100oz bar.

you'd probably want to cough up for fractional. Think about it from the perspective of using it. If you couldn't afford 1oz at a time, then how would you spend it? You could "lock in" the price from ETFs, but it doesn't account for premium increases that are there to compensate for volatility.

People will realize that in the end times worldly possessions, aspirations, money and wealth are meaningless. Just vanity. Anything that is put before God is vanity. They will realize their unholy fallen nature and try to repent by purging every unclean idol from their midst, but it will be too late when the final trumpets sound.

i think you got it and your post helped me understand.
Silver is money, and weve seen many examples of failed states were paper bills end up littered on the street.
gold will be considered dirty, because gold isnt money. gold is jewlery, gold is vanity. there is a reason they made a golden calf into an idol.

Obsessing over it, self enrichment and placing its importance above God is a sin. It is a form of idolatry, greed, and conflicts the greatest commandment. “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind and all your strength.” Man cannot serve two masters man cannot love both God and money.
>>
>>61615400
>you'd probably want to cough up for fractional.
Fractional has huge premiums. Goldbacks would be the worst.

Gold will never be used for "routine" transactions. Just for large purchases such as vehicles, property, etc.

I actually like Goldbacks, but only own a couple for personal collection.

It should be done in modesty. Not where it becomes idolatry or greed. Christians are called to be charitable and not love money..but most of all seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Christians must deny themselves, deny the flesh. Put to death their sins repent and seek after the things of God

Was time, but...
When posting YouTube links on most (all?) 4Chan boards, a hypertext link is added by 4Chan after the URL text. On computers it's "[Embed]," on phones it's "[Open]."
If you copy/paste the entire OP pasta, those links appear as new unlinked text. Keep doing that, and we'll end up with large strings of [Embed]s and [Open]s for the YouTube entries.
Edit the OP post and get rid of those [Embed]s and [Open]s.
Or, save the pasta to your device and copy/paste that. The advantages are:
- No [Embed]s and [Open]s to edit,
- You avoid blindly copying sneaky add-ons from pranksters who have some personal agenda
- You won't look like a noob.
