Quick silver metal rundown
>highest reflectivity
>highest electrical
conductivity
>highest thermal conductivity
>finite
>currency for thousands of years
>has very important used
>phones, cars, mirrors, computers, solar panels, medicine etc etc
>miners closing up shop because unprofitable

>1 oz of gold = 83 ounces of silver
>future is electronic technology, which needs silver

>$15/oz spot 2019

But why is silver spot so low?
>EVERYTHING THEY DO WITH SILVER THEY DO TO GOLD/OIL/OTHER REM
>paper futures derivatives markets
>markets were created to allow options in paper silver
>on the precedent of following the actual commodity price
>investment bankers like JPM rigged this to make it reverse, futures derivatives market determines the physical commodity spot price
>bankers have large foothold in derivatives market
>they in effect control manipulation of not only the futures paper trading, but also the physical market too
>they short futures market, while accumulating up physical for a rigged severely undervalued price that they kept low on purpose through manipulation of the futures market
>JPM owns 800 million physical ounces

NO, there will not be some magical crash, stop waiting for it. During november - december last year the price went from 50 to 80. This could happen again at any time. You actually will miss out if you put it off for a crash.

This isn't some pump and dump, silver is already 91 dollars an ounce in china and climbing.

Lol.

As far as antigravity goes there was a researcher who was on MITD with art bell who claimed to be working on antigravity propulsion. The basis of their research was the effect seen in a few flights (that survived) where the pilots attempted a sucker hole between two storm clouds and ended up with an unexplainable discrepancy between distance traveled, flight time, and fuel consumed. Their general working theory, iirc, was field compression generated by high currents through two opposed pyramidal structures. The guy claimed (ofc) that their iterations had shown an improvement in force applied, but I got the impression that they were working with copper for their conductive masses.

All that to say if an antigravitic effect can be achieved by running current through a precise geometry, resistive loss would be one of the biggest hurdles. In this field I can only apply baseless schizo conjecture to I can safely reason that much, especially if it takes thunderhead voltages and currents. Better heat dissipation also.

1 ounce is goober shit, I'm thinking anywhere from 100-200 ounces spending silver to do so, but it could be much better than this, we don't really know. Leverage just outright won't exist, so buying houses in full will be much more expensive in a lot of ways than before, most real estate guys only really buy the first 20% of their first house and then gradually pay it off and leverage it.
So 100-200 ounces spending (and whatever you spend 50% is kept as reserve) for this, fully paid-off houses. If we're talking leverage shenanigans risky shit the number is much more, but leverage just won't be there for literally a decade probably.

1 ounce is a different scenario, where the economy is worse than even the biggest shizo was predicting and everyone gets foreclosed on, all moving together to live with roommates, friends, and family, leaving investment properties open for whoever can pay the back taxes. It's a possible scenario I'll have to admit, and in that case anywhere from 1-5 ounces would be a house. It doesn't really take a lot for a housing market to be saturated, but people are apt to sit on a house and lose money because they don't want to take a loss selling - so more dire circumstances will be needed, boomer retirements getting liquidated and them having to move into their kid's apartments kind of circumstances.
>>61624271
Arguably last year, the real question is whether it's early last year or late last year, either way doesn't matter because 1980 wasn't a paradigm shift, not even 2000 was compared to this one.

Personally if I had some huge mortgage I'd say whatever, do your shit jew, but only pay it off at the normal rate still.
I'd slurp a crashed housing market and use rentals to pay off the (((bank))), thus keeping more of my silver.

If it gets bad enough they WILL give out welfare or freeze mortgages, they did the welfare thing during the great depression because there were too many riots - so I wouldn't rush to pay it off unless it's an insignificant part of the stack.

this sounds about right
lending will be too risky during this period, so buyers won't have the power of leverage
therefore, prices collapse, and stackers will have their pick of the litter thanks to having actual fucking money

Yeah having actual money is a crazy thing to think about, just having a couple cars sitting in your room worth of money kind of thing with no payment plan or anything is crazy, even retirees don't have that much liquid and just have it in the stock market or other dumb shit.
>>61624298
The thing is I think they get liquidated before the dieoff. Their money is in ponzi scheme exponential growth assets, primarily stocks - not counting their house or car 90% of their wealth is in stocks and probably 10% are in bonds. The stock market goes down and they just outright get liquidated and can no longer afford their retirement plan.
Keep in mind for them the "advised number" to retire on if they're retiring today - following the 4% rule - is somewhere around 2.5 million. Their current lifestyle and existing house payments / upkeep require as much as the average american makes, so if 1/3 of their money or more is just gone they can't afford their house anymore.
Boomers will be forced to downsize, it won't be optional anymore.
>>61624314
Even if they do this anon will still make out better waiting and paying out in silver.
And banks actually have been losing, only one that hasn't because it's the central one is the fed - and actually the fed has been buck-broken constantly by this administration.

Little banks close and crash all the time, entire countries have their credit ratings destroyed, literally everything will be reevaluated.

>I am unfamiliar with the term “credit churn” - can you explain?
It's where you open a bunch of cards, take advantage of whatever benefits they have and then quickly pay them off.
If they saw you buying a bunch of Silver and nothing else within a month of opening a card, they'd assume you were trying to make the minimum purchase amounts to get rewards while selling of the Silver to get your money back, which would mean they'd be losing money on you. They could close your card and lower your credit score if they catch you doing this.
https://www.experian.com/blogs/ask-experian/what-is-credit-card-churning/
Though it sounds like this card you're getting doesn't really have many sign on bonuses, so maybe they'll be more lenient.

>>
>>61624245
My nigger if you're at 70 ounces you need to do this immediately, like before next month immediately.
If you have an entire year there's almost no risk. You aren't 10x leveraged or anything, absolute worst is a 2x leverage if somehow silver dips by half - and you have the liquidity to pay it off.

So take advantage of leverage. Houses are bought on a 5x leverage right now, or with owner leasing sometimes a 20x leverage even. Your 2x is, financially speaking, not a real risk and not something that someone who has ever bought a house should lose any sleep over.

I do not have $10k lying around to make the high volume purchase I wish to - that is why I intend to use the credit card. I don’t understand how I can ‘get in trouble’ for what I purchase. My business is my business - whether I spend the credit on food, video games, car accessories, silver bullion…what business is it of theirs?
>>
>>61624293
You'll likely be able to scoop a house for a few ozt AG desu. The lack of leverage will make purchasing a house nearly impossible for normal groids, but conversely once all financing ends the inflated value of "assets" will fall off a cliff. Also, we're likely to see an end to viewing homes as investments, especially once boomers start dying enmass over the coming decades and there's suddenly a glut of houses on the market.

Do NOT use debt to finance investments. Play it cool. I know silver is an a bullrun, and congrats on your 70oz stack, but taking that kind of risk is insane. Pro traders or investors would never do it.

Silver could crab
Silver could fall
The government could put a block on legally selling
New deposits of silver could be discovered
Something could get invented which reduces industrial demand
Another market, like stocks, could crash, and people will have to liquidate silver to cover, crashing the price.

If things keep mooning and you make a little less, you make a little less. Smart investors hedge against their counter-hypotheses. You do NOT work on being bullish unless you have a strategy for a bear market first.

The duality of man….
Let me give you all some more information about me to help better understand my reasoning.
First and foremost: I am bullish on Silver. I believe in another year it will be trading around $150/oz if not higher.
Secondly, I just got a new job with a salary of $65k/year. I know to many on here that is small potatoes, but for me that is more money (substantially), than I have ever made.
Context: I got a dui in 2019 and it drastically altered my life. I lost my career, my college sweetheart, and all of my savings. The trade off is it was a boot in my ass to grow the fuck up and get my shit together, but it has been a LONG and ARDUOUS process.
I have finally ‘made it’, so to speak, having recently gotten my license back, and the aforementioned job.

Now having said all this, I have about $1k in savings, and my checkings is essentially paycheck to paycheck. This is why I cannot afford to use actual liquid to purchase Silver at the amount I desire to purchase, and why I want to use the credit card strategy that I mentioned.

I don’t see the downside to this, as again, I am extremely bullish on silver. Of course, if it somehow tanks, then yes, I lose my ass. But I have a year to build a contingency net via savings which, with this new job and my current budget, I should be able to very comfortably allocate $2k per month into my savings account. Over the course of a year that translates to $24k which is more than enough to pay off the $10k I plan on spending.

Is there a flaw in this logic?
>>
>>61624362
this sounds unrealistic but the only way the demographic collapse and extremely skewed age distribution would not create a ton of housing and lower prices, is if the fire hose of niggers continues to flow at the current rate. they need to replace the entire boomer demographic before we can buy or inherit their assets.

Houses are not assets, they're liabilities. The fact that they've been inflated to absurd valuations is a product of the normalization of usury; when debt vanishes from the economy the value of artificial inflated assets will collapse against real money. Laugh all you want, I'm right :)

This is 100% true and actually how housing is viewed in Japan. People who talk about how their "equity is locked up in their house" are nuts. If you sell (and don't want to be homeless) you either have to buy right back into the market you sold into, or go back to being a rentoid, in the market you just sold into. Houses are only "assets" if you become a landlord.

Never use cards to actually borrow. They are useful only for the following, and only when you ALREADY HAVE CASH SET ASIDE YOU COULD HAVE USED ANYWAY.

1. Purchases where you might need a chargeback.
2. Churning for sign on bonuses. For example, say a card offers yours you $300 if you spend $600 in three months. If I KNOW I'm spending $600 in three months great - I just got $600 worth of bills paid for $300. But again, only if you ALREADY HAVE THE $600 in hand, earmarked, so you don't fall into debt.
3. Things that need CCs like rental cars, hotels, etc., and again because chargeback protection. I'd never let an institution put a hold on my debit card.
4. This one is very specific - small tax debt to the IRS, IF you are in a financial jam. Say you owe a small amount to the IRS, like $1000, but don't have it. IRS payment plans are very expensive, and if something goes wrong, you're tangling with the IRS. However, there are several IRS-approved payment processors which accept CCs for payment. So you get a new card with a year of 0% APR into or whatever, pay your tax debt with the card, then pay off the card interest free over the intro period. The payment processor takes a cut for the transaction, but this is way less then the IRS would charge you in interest and penalties. Again this is a very specific situation and you have to know what you're doing. Even if something goes wrong and you fall behind on the card, it's way better to owe $1000 to Wells Fargo then the IRS.

Don't trust autopayment. Set it, and then make manual payments ahead of time anyway. And again, this is still only for short, precalculated bursts when you could have just used cash.

for some context, you're gonna get fucked by the premiums regardless. shit is way too hot at the moment and the sellers are well aware of this.
the demand is so high that normies without knowledge of premiums are just buying and the same normies who already had some gold lying around are cashing it in without paying attention to the premiums.
The best atm is probably Ainsley (low premiums from what I can see). I used to stack from melb gold company years ago before prices went parabolic. Their prices used to be good but in the last few years they've gone mental, basically preying on people without knowledge.
Remember that if you're gonna buy gold, you should aim for 1oz if you can. the lower weights have higher premiums (but even you can't afford it get whatever you can regardless).
avoid online purchasing and focus on cash purchasing in-store.
anything over $5k will require ID. you can skirt around this if you can go in with someone you know (e.g. if you get a 1oz gold for $7k, you'll be 'splitting' it between 2 people, so it's under $5k and no report required).
also please remember to stay liquid. nothing worse than people getting swept up in the commotion and over-investing, leaving no available cash and forcing them to sell relatively soon after buying (for less because buy-back is like a ~$300 difference).

Every time CME has raised margins, silver has fallen by quite a lot, about 5% or more.

CME tends to raise margins after a sharp increase. That's what we've just seen. So CME is probably about to act, but they may not. They may be out of powder.

margin requirements are collateral yes? so 80% margin = you have to have 80% cash equivalent in collateral of your silver position
there are much more short positions than long right? this whole thing is because banksters are naked short, rising margin would make the banksters put up more collateral?
i dont see silver longs hurt by this, its not like they are turning off the buy button

They raise margins because the price increased.
With higher prices you need higher margins to not have people rapidly enter and get margin called.
A 1% fluctuation at 4600 hits a lot harder than a 1% fluctuation at 2000.

Rapid price increase means rapid margin adjustment.
>>
>>61624905
I don't really understand it.

I think that if the price increase were really a speculative bubble, that is, based on paper, then eventually the margin hikes would pop the bubble. But if the price increase is based on fundamentals like shortages, the margin hikes only temporarily suppress the price, or as you say, kick the ball down the road. And that is what we have seen after previous CME hikes: quick drawdown and quick recovery.

CME should have some knowledge of how much the price increase is paper speculation and how much real shortage. That would argue against raising margins, but they keep doing it anyway.

If you look at when silver started its rally (April 7), it was right after Trump started his Liberation Day tariffs (April 2) and China responded with export controls on rare earths (April 4).

I would like to say that I bought some silver on April 6, not because of the above reasons, but because Trump was promising that "If the war in Ukraine did not end, and if he thought Russia was to blame, he would make it so that countries that buy oil from Russia would not be able to sell their products into the United States."

>>61624907
The fact that you don't have to pay in full upfront still astounds me; "margin" should not exist, pay in cash equivalent to the contract value or don't buy.
>>
>>61624905
CME is a fake market where people borrow money and spend it to speculate on the future value of paper contracts of silver and other metals. To borrow money you have to provide collateral in the form of cash which is called margin. The prices are getting out of hand so they increased the amount of cash you need just to be able to play which forces out small time players and liquidates their positions which drives prices lower because of more supply than demand for a short while.
>>
>>61624956
>"margin" should not exist

But it does because jews exist, you can never get away from usury. It always ends the same, they drive prices up so much that everyone has to borrow to play.
>>
>>61624940
>How the fuck are bankers not blowing their brains out right now?
your myth about bankers needing to keep silver prices down simply isn't true. It never was. Silver could go to $100k and bankers aren't going to be jumping out of windows because they don't care.

You made up a story about why silver was so cheap and now that it's getting expensive your story doesn't make any sense anymore.
>>
>>61624966
>forces out small time players and liquidates their positions
so the big whales (banksters) are short and the small time players are long. increased margin means small fish get forced to sell which temporarily drives down prices

BUT once the price recovers, as it should due to fundamental physical demand, this higher margin will eventually turbofuck all those shorts right? increased margin = increased collateral = they should eventually get liquidated

The numbers are rather misleading. It's the number of ounces you get by dividing the nominal total number of above ground ounces by 1% of the population. The discrepancy comes from the nearly unknown factor: how much silver actually exists above ground? We don't have much in the way of concrete data. Gold, however, we know rather well as the loss rate is somewhere between 3 and 5%. To arrive at those numbers anon estimated a loss of 95% of all mined silver to date through various means (primarily exploding and trash). On the other end of the spectrum is the official number (TM), used to derive silver market cap - about 60 billion ounces, or almost no loss. The actual amount of silver that can be scared up by high prices is, essentially, an unknown.
>>
>>61625045
It would be funny when people go to change their papers for physical and get nothing.
>>
>>61624394
Trump is going to cap interest rates on credit cards for one year, so you have that going for you.
However, if you are able to save 2k a month, then why not buy 2k worth of silver a month instead? Being extremely bullish on silver doesn't mean you have to get greedy. If the economy enters a recession, you could lose your job and then your plan goes to shit. Which is why you have to hedge your options.
You could also invest 2k a month in dividend paying stocks like good energy companies or VALE or SID or LYB. While the stock market could crash a lot of companies are dirt cheap and their downside potential is minimal. Putting all your eggs into one basket (physical silver) is unwise. All commodities will rise with gold including energy and base metals, it just requires patience.
Also I own a lot of physical silver, but that is because I can afford to and I hedge myself in many different ways.

Wouldn't this clay also have a moisture component to keep it together and moldable? Dry powder would be as fine as dust; so I would think a component of the weight is this moisture and the binder

Also holy FUCK what an open on the East coast

It is your business until you sign on the line to borrow someone else's money to conduct your business. Then you have a partner, like it or not. Take a look at the credit card delinquency rate in the USA. It's a trap. Maybe you are sure-footed enough to step in the trap and get your foot back out. But it honestly doesn't sound like you are all that astute. Every single gambler that loses everything thinks he can win when he places his bet.

Plenty of us stack both gold and silver. How you approach it depends on your budget, the tax structure of your country, your views about future economic developments, and your personal preferences. I don't think you can go wrong either way.

Precious metal clay is used for creating three dimensional sculptures from PMs. You sculpt the clay by hand - say a little frog - and then you bake it. The non-metal carrier sublimates and you are left with the pure PM sculpture. I have never used it myself. Youtube probably has videos.

Don't listen to ramsey show boomers on investing, this is a good plan. If you think silver will go to 150 vs the downside of it going to maybe 50 this is a great plan.
We had people who did other financial "no-no"s that an investor would shit themselves over, 2 anons recently cashed out their 401ks into silver and they've already made it back - took them less than a year.
You don't even really "lose your ass" or whatever, with your salary if you wanted to pay it all off you'd just have to spend less and save more for a couple months - but at 10,000 to spend right now that's more money than you'll have in a long time.

Like I said before, houses are bought on 5x or more leverage nowadays - and they "depreciate" because they need to be painted and a roof put on and updated, but they're considered a great investment. For something like 10,000 dollars leveraged with only a 2x risk? Go for it if you think this asset is the one.

>>61624519
Exactly, they're economic migrants. If america becomes third-world they move back in with friends and family in mexico where they speak the language and know people.
>Their countries? Which are even more shit?
Everything will be shit so it'll just be a choice of being shit alone or with family.

My nigger just stop being such a pussy?
Silver last year did nearly a 10x on the stock market, this year (12 days so far lmao) it's done 2.5.
When a safe-haven beats growth assets people are gonna leave the growth assets and go safe. Do you know what a safe-haven asset is? If said asset is outperforming something meant to grow it means people are GTFOing because they no longer trust this economic cycle - and this distrust lasts for a decade.

When a gold coin is made it's traded once every few years at best and held by central banks as collateral, gold wire is only plated with a microscopic layer and used sparingly for high-end electronics. Even when they do this they still recycle e-scrap and recover almost all the gold.
Silver coins were circulated and worn the fuck out of to the point where 100 year old coins are slicks now, it's used in solder and such shit, photography that gets thrown in the trash, blown up in missiles, and hardly any of it is recycled because of the relatively low price.

Over the long term this means that gold might be mined less but it survives far longer, so there's more of it available at any given time than silver.
