There will be another one i guess lol.
It make them lose all credibility tho, it's very reminescent of the GME short squeeze with brokerage platforms greying the purchase button on behalf of clearing houses, the later pretexting they don't have enough collateral to properly execute clients' order. When in reality it's just jews who printed millions of fake shares and sold them to shorters. Once they got caught cheating they had to change the rules of their own rigged game.

It's the exact same thing here : countless silver IOUs with zero collateral to back them up in the vault, being sharted out and sold to shorties. Main differences between GME and silver are :
>you can't ask for delivery of GME shares
>silver is a real thing needed by everybody
>they aren't fighting a bunch of retail burgers, they play against retail + China + India + industrials
Actually if you 'member WSS was created right after the GME debacle for this exact reason : short squeeze potential from which wall street can't escape with some paper shuffling magick
>>

>>
>>61630630
Yea and Costco stopped selling eagles because of a shortage that is playing out. LCS are 2 months backlogged on silver eagle inventory. Now all those Costco and retail buyers are trying to buy eagles from alternate sources. Us mint is issuing statements saying there are shortages a day after Costco says they won’t be selling eagles anymore… yea bro it’s totally a conspiracy

Does anyone have experience converting to gold? Just wondering the best approach. Not sure if I call local LCS and get quotes. Not sure what to part with first, figured rolls of rounds or 10 oz bars and hold off on junk for now obviously. Just wanna have a solid plan. I know mailing to a bullion dealer is also an option but don’t know if it’s worth it paying mail insurance or if they even do conversions. Would take more of a hit selling and buying gold in separate transactions. Gonna start converting 40 ounces at 50:1 and every 5 thereafter (45 :1 40:1 etc)

The bullion ASEs are not affected by that recent mint statement. They literally wound down production in November to get the 2026s ready, thats why theres a shortage. They're also extremely inefficient hence high premiums and overall supply disfunction. There's plenty of other coins, rounds and bars available though I will acknowledge there's definitely a big increase in retail buying last month or so. Just don't pay huge premiums for them when the markets tight...

I gave up shilling platinum but it is truly the black swan gamble here as historical it has always been 1.5 to 2 times the price of gold prior to the 2008 financial crash. Not only that, but many countries (such as the US) already give it a face value double of gold (1 Platinum Eagle = $100 USD, 1 Gold Eagle = $50 USD). People here are just generally ignorant of platinum as platinum is so scare that if every millionaire wanted to buy one ounce there would not be enough. Hell, most places are already sold out of it currently.

The other fud you see here is "muh catalytic converters" which is retarded because platinum has other uses as well but ICE cars are going nowhere. The Jews are freaking the fuck out about silver disappearing and the last thing they want is for platinum to disappear as well considering global demand has already outstripped mining production and industry is already forced to recycle platinum. Seriously, one fucking billionaire could squeeze the market tomorrow if they wanted and anyone holding SBSW is going to see crazy gains.

Check out this subreddit for some decent posts on the topic:

from wallstreetplatinum:

Platinum at the Breaking Point
***This is not a call to sell platinum. It is an explanation of why pressure concentrates here first.***

The age produces many marvels, but none so grotesque as the modern market expert who watches a structure deform and insists it is merely stretching. Gold soars and he bows. Silver sprints and he cheers. Platinum strains audibly and he assures you everything is normal.

It is not normal. It is terminal behavior.

Gold now trades at nearly twice the price of platinum. The gold to platinum ratio stands at 1.98. That alone should invite embarrassment. Historically the ratio has swung as low as .43. Even its most extreme distortion topped out around 3.57. We are not at balance. We are at caricature.

But the real obscenity lies elsewhere.

The platinum to silver ratio stands at 27.55. That is not merely low. It is scraping the absolute floor of recorded history. The all time low sits at roughly 26.53. Read that again. Platinum is trading against silver at a level that has only existed at the most irrational extremes the market has ever produced.

This is not a coincidence. It is a confession.

Silver is loud. Silver is crowded. Silver is beloved by mobs and marketed endlessly by promoters. Platinum is quiet. Thin. Industrially essential. Financially ignored. The market has decided that an ounce of platinum is barely worth 27 ounces of silver and expects this insult to persist indefinitely.

That expectation is delusion elevated to policy.

The CME data tells the rest of the story. 26,000 futures contracts trade hands while open interest hovers near 28,000. Obligations pile up in a market that lacks the depth to absorb their escape. Options lean heavily toward calls, with more than 14,000 staring into a market too small to hedge politely. In platinum defense itself becomes offense.

And still the architects sleep.
>>
>>61630711
Bullrun is over unfortunately, yeah.
>>
>>61630688
>yeah i remember wall street silver was all about replicating the GME short squeeze.

The quick run down was that some of the original apes realized that after GME squeezed that they could do the same thing with silver. However all the GME people called silver people shills and instead those morons double downed into their shit stock which is why most of them are spiteful baggies. I used to hold GME from 2022 to 2024 and sold it all (at a loss) when I realized what a fucking shitshow that stock and the community had become. Meanwhile a bunch of the WallStreetSilver people came over to /pol/ and started the /SETF/ threads until they got jannied.

>>61630697

I can't see it being any worse than your typical wagie job.

>>61630696

I'm only 20-30% into Platinum (and Palladium) because to be frank, it's a fucking PIA to invest in but works for my retirement accounts. I do have some physical for the lulz of course.
>>
>>61630713
They built platinum futures small. 50 ounces per contract. Gold received a 100. Silver a 1,000. The metals of tradition were fortified. Platinum was left exposed because no one imagined anyone would notice.

Now it is noticed.

The defenders are already exhausted. Gold demands constant attention. Silver requires theater. Currencies wobble. Bonds groan. Rates snarl. When pressure mounts everywhere at once, systems fail where they are thinnest, not where they are loudest.

Platinum has no priesthood to rescue it. No central bank blessing. No narrative to anesthetize the public. It exists naked in the ledger, daring the system to explain itself.

Volatility here is not speculation. It is truth leaking through a structure designed for silence.

This is not about prediction. It is about recognition. Ratios this distorted are not signals. They are alarms. They are the sound of a system insisting that gravity has been repealed and daring anyone to test it.

This is where the line is drawn.

Not because platinum is fashionable. Not because it is romantic. But because it is the weakest link in a chain stretched to absurdity. Because leverage applied here travels farther. Because pressure here cannot be hidden.

Those who understand mechanics do not shout at the strongest wall. They lean on the beam already cracking.

Platinum does not need a crowd. It needs resolve.

This is the rally.

Problem is money is all about consensus. Whatever the medium being used IS the money. Currently gold and silver aren't money (at least not for commoners), fiatshit is. And the digitalization + inertia carried by normalcy biais + practicity of the fiat system makes it incredibly resilient no matter how fucked we collectively get.

People only knew fiat for their whole life, being robbed by the banks is socially acceptable and expected even.
Plus fiat is the only escape road for hundreds of millions of boomers if they don't want to die pennyless, and boomers are in power, so they will do anything to protect their lifestyle.

I don’t know for certain. But those 5$ over premiums for ASE’s or Maples when silver was at $22/oz are going to be irrelevant when silver is at $500 even if you only get $470 for it. I like how we talkore and more about prepping here. It's the logical next step now that we see the shit approaching the fan.
Silver was always a weird bet because winning likely meant societal collapse.

I just wonder if we will get to spend our wealth before everything goes crazy or will we have to wait till after peak crazy subsidez.
I'm ready either way. I have a location 2 hours away from the city, but my biggestt headache is thinking about saving as many of my possessions as possible.
If I escape there's a chance nigs will brake in to my house eventually.

I could probably do it in 2-3 trips, but I guess we'll see when the time comes

Hello, frens. Unfortunately, I did not hear back from Mint 1 or Mint 4 today. I expected to hear from them because they have had solid correspondence since reaching out to them. I can only imagine how crazy things are for them right now. I'm still hoping to hear back, especially from Mint 4. I will wait until Wednesday mid-day to follow up with them.
Tomorrow I'm going to email several more mints. I believe our best shot is finding a smaller one who is short on capital and would be looking to move. I also will continue working on the store front so we can be ready to pull the trigger on the pre-sale campaign if this thing pops off.

Also, I saw the pornographic silver bar of Donald Duck and Daisy. Those must be made by someone who has their own press and can make dyes. Or they are laser cut. Looking into this for us isn't outside the of the picture. Crowd fund a small press and blank rounds and get the dyes made. This is something that is worth beginning to explore so I will talk to my lcs tomorrow to see if he has a line on blank rounds because the premiums online I could find are meh.
I wish I had better news for you all. I know the awesome rise in silver means that the price of these would also be more expensive. My advice to folks who want them is to set aside silver that you can liquidate before the presale and turn that cash into Frensmarks. But remember it won't be a 1:1 trade per oz, the premiums on the Frensmark will be high.

You can find me in the general weeknights around 9pm hanging out and I'll post any updates as they come in but dont expect news every night or anything. Thanks, all

No it isn’t. Nobody owns silver dude. The only thing keeping it as high as 36 ounces is people who inherited small stacks from parents/grandparents. If those didn’t exist you’d probably be in the 1% with 18 ounces.

What’s actually sort of surprising that 350 ounces puts you in the 1% of stackers. I guess stacker is a very loose term tho. You are considering a stacker if you bought 200 ounces in 2011 and haven’t stacked since, and still own it and never sold.

I think the minimum legitimate stacker number is 200 ounces. That probably puts you near the middle of the road for stackers where you will really make it. 105 ounces will probably get all your needs met for the foreseeable future

probably also accompanied by new golden age psyop w/ elon/digital ID/total IOB integration with some morsels of tech (mark of the beast).

crypto holders who depend on internet access will have the hardest time leaving it behind. PM holders will at least be able to barter it when they go off grid when the full system is implemented.

Maybe it’s 60 ounces. Maybe it’s 105 ounces. That’s still close enough to 36 ounces where being in the 1% is pretty astonishing on its face.

Be it as it may, If a 2 weeks worth of wages historically is 1 ounces of silver that’s still over a year cushion of having your needs met to figure shit out going forward.

Just a year ago if someone said silver will be $300, that didn’t feel realistic at all. That ounce that we bought for $25 didn’t feel like it could command $300. Today 1 ounce of silver now feels like it should cost $300. The way things feel are changing with what’s going on with everything. Paying $45 for silver felt expensive in 2011. Now $80 feels cheap for silver.

Investment up front but it’s invaluable especially for prepping. We got a medium harvest right for ~2600 beginning of last year. Shelf stable meat for 10-20 years, and if you freeze dry fruit/produce, it retains 98% of nutrients as opposed to other methods of cooking. If you have the cash I’d say it’s worth it considering how fucking expensive it is to buy freeze dried meat and even other forms of food at the store

>Hard to believe only 36 ounces putting one into the top 1%
That's not exactly what the chart says. Think of it as "if all the silver available to non-industrial end-users would be evenly distributed among 1% of the world's population, each would get 36 ounces."

It is NOT saying "Among all stackers of silver, if you have 36 ounces your holdings would rank among the top 1% of them."

should it be 50? This is using a precedent established in the 1980s.
Risk wise, I think 50 or 40 is rather prudent, but 50 really feels a bit high. I don't know how much silver (if any) should be sold as we approach 40 (about 120/oz if gold stays level).

>because platinum has other uses as well but ICE cars are going nowhere.
With the world moving towards electric and renewables there's a big use for platinum that will replace cat. converters:
Hydrogen electrolysis and fuel cells.
The 'hydrogen economy' is being pushed alot because the dying fossil fuel industry can contribute to it. Though a lot of the plans and ideas are retarded due to the cost and efficiency of electricity > gas > electricity using hydrogen is hardly ever economical.
But due to the fact oil & gas barons and retarded politicians like those in Australia and Germany already have put shitloads of money into it, there will be a demand for platinum.

Silver will keep climbing higher for longer desu, because this is the path of maximum pain for both longs and shorts trying to call a top. The longs sell every 10% move up, and the shorts borrow or buy puts/sell calls. But the bull is relentless and as the price recovers taking out stops, the longs get scared of missing out and chase, and the shorts panic cover, pushing the price even higher. The real top before the next major correction will come at a price point few expect.

>Gold/Silver buying tour busses
I never knew such a thing existed, I guess it'll become more common as prices rise.
According to their website, people schedule appointments and then they drive out to appraise and buy their gold. I guess a couple of old timers must be cashing out (or their children are selling off their inheritance). Though the website also implies they drive from town to town looking to buy gold.
Apart from that the site is filled with the usual "take advantage of the high prices" and "sell to us before the market crashes".
It also says they'll let you keep the precious stones from the jewelry you sell to them, which goes to show how worthless gems are nowadays.
>Est. 2011
Interesting, they managed to pop up at the height of the last bull market and stuck around to the present. Usually the sorts of ventures that get set up at the top of a bullrun die out as the market retracts.
I can imagine a Gold Confiscation taking a similar approach to this: government backed gold buyers going door to door asking if you have any Gold you'd like to sell offering to pay spot. If you don't want to sell or say you don't have any Gold, they'll leave you alone, but 90% of people will sell when they learn how much their old jewelry is worth. Perhaps it'll be disguised as a sort of bailout.

Depending how away from a capital city or popular town you are, even a 1 hour drive is worth buying bullion with less premium.
Don't see why you can't just deposit into a debit account and order from PM or online bullion sellers and have it delivered. Though PM still hasn't shipped my order that was processed in december >:(

Not more valuable per se. Gold is more valuable in relative numbers, but it's more of the commodity while silver is actually the only metal referenced as money.
Talk of the GSR exists as though gold should be monetized and differing relationships between the metals in different geographical locations leading to potential exploitation has had me reconcile something I knew from my bible studies but hadn't really thought about. The bible has no GSR. There's no exchange rate given. Gold is gold and silver is money. The literal word for money in the hebrew is silver.
The exchange rate in the bible is something else entirely: the throughpoint of exchange is slaves. 30 weights of silver for a man, 20 weights of silver for a woman. The man is under a service contract for six years expiring in the seventh. For women they don't go out again, especially if they enter into concubinage.
This line of thinking led me to wonder if there isn't some sort of metaphysical relationship between silver's perceived value and the quality of the women (or even the men.) The book of Isaiah in the 2nd and 3rd chapters comments on "silver being as dross" and women acting out and even ruling over men.
So no, Biblically speaking there's no GSR. There is a MSR and a WSR.
>>
>>61631105
now we wait
>>
>>61631843
Yeah fair enough, totally understandable.
>even a 1 hour drive
kek yes definitely it is.
But I'm 8 hours from Melbourne, 3 Hours from Canberra and 5 hours from Wollongong, so my options are to buy when I go down to melb bi-yearly I guess.

Main reason I don't want to buy online/use a card is for personal privacy reasons. I'd prefer to have my identity completely removed from the situation and any record. I can also circumvent the 5k ID limit if I'm in person with a mate to split it. But yes the delays and shortages are also giving me an extra reason to not do it that way. I head down to melb in march so i'll likely just do it all then, just gotta pray there'll be a dip.

thanks for the advice
