Don't be like me. I was a retard. I was all-in on a shitcoin. All of my crypto holdings beyond a few hundred bucks were in Truebit. At the time of the hack I had over $10,000 worth of USD in Truebit. Fact is most of that was from 2021. But since then I had thrown a few hundred into TrueBit here and there and had a couple of thousand dollar purchases. Of course I dabbled with other cryptos, held XMR at various times. But I thought this project was stable, and even if it wasn't pumping like crazy, it never really dumped after years of holding so I was fine just hanging onto it. It was hacked and I lost all my money. I can't even sell all my tokens for a single penny now because the contract is still frozen. The team has tweeted since the hack but absolutely no plan to airdrop a new token or do anything, they haven't even said that they feel bad for the people holding TrueBit. And basically my job sucks and my expenses are high enough that I don't really have any ability to keep investing in crypto right now. I could DCA about 300 to 400 dollars a month and I'm probably going to start doing that, but I'm also just frustrated and despondent and have had a very unlucky year so far. Point of this post is not asking for pity or sympathy, I am warning you not to be like me. Do not put all your eggs in one basket. Do not go all in on a random shitcoin even if it sounds legit. Lost a lot of it because it dumped to a 5x then I leverage traded and lost half of that. Bought Truebit at around 60 cents and that just dumped. But I held onto it and just added more here and there over the years because I thought eventually it would go to a dollar or higher, or at least close, and I'd sell.
