You can argue how ridiculous real estate prices are in your area. I saw a tiny apartment with a broken garage door, water damage on the floor and shoddy work on electric cables go for almost $500,000. It’s very hard to find a single-unit house that is not in a horrible configuration in my area that is less than $1 million, houses that 10-20 years ago were fully affordable on a middle class income.

But every place I’ve looked at has had dozens of potential buyers visit alongside me and there are always atleast 3 bids being placed.
There are still numerous people willing to pay for these unaffordable prices, meaning liquidity is not a problem and thus there’s not going to be a real estate bubble pop any time soon.

That’s unfortunate. And I don’t like the caption of the image, that wasn’t a dream since that actually was a million dollar home then

Is capital being allocated productively?
Are houses used for their intended purpose (people living in them and thriving)?
Are living conditions improving?

Your options
>Get a better job
>Lower your standards
>Move
Why does it have to be a single family detached when that's not something you can afford, for example? Get a nice duplex maybe. Or consider a multifamily residential.

>But that's not how I imagined my perfect home
Tough titties

This is what $100 looks like today.
Do the math.

Yes, aside from costing more, people aren’t really struggling that hard unless they are a single zoomer working minimum, which in that case, they just rent.

The dishonest kikery is strong on this thread

The bubble will pop and houses will be 900k soon instead of 1000k.

Where are these mythical "better jobs"?
>Just go to med school, goy!

Communist policies are what caused the housing crisis.
rent control and zoning laws, also central banking

If stocks, metal and BTC can have 40-50% retracement, so can boomer dirt. Those fuckers will die soon and no one is buying shit at these prices without subprime and/or ultra usurous loans.

excess credit availability caused the crisis. you could ban all forms of zoning and legalize 100 square foot, 100 story plywood microfavelas built on EPA superfund chemical waste sites, and subhuman nigger cattle retards would immediately bid up the prices to $300k with money borrowed on 5% down, 30 year terms.

This is not advice. I don't know why people post shit like this but my entire life
>dude just become a rocket scientist
Like you can spend 8 years going back to school with debt to make more money which will just go to debt.

Or 10 years or whatever.

If you think getting a better job isn't possible you need to lower your expectations then.
And if you think a nice duplex or apartment is below you I'd suggest you cry harder or pay up.
>>
>>61645942
Or you could just stop trying to play the rigged game and put the money that would have went towards being a productive member of society into being a burden to stress the system..
>>
>>61646577
I'm going to cry so hard and get so far that in the end it won't even matter.

Welcome to most of human history. Property has always been owned by the ruling class. The "middle class" is just an outlier. We're reverting back to the norm of serfdom.

This is the result of printing money but not sharing it equally. There really should be a law that prevents this. Increasing the money supply should work like stock splits.

Americans are so entitled it’s amazing
You have cheap homes but whine that you can’t buy a private standing home by yourself as though a majority of the world can’t even afford to buy an apartment and it takes generations to get a house, for most of history humans lived in communal shelters and you lazy pigs whine when you can’t buy a free standing 4 bedroom home on a mid level salary
>>
>>61649400
No. The whole real estate is 5-10 times overpriced here. I thought bof buying a fixer for like 100k in some MAGA shit hole. But I have to have income of at least 3K a month because the utility bill alone will be around $500 a month and their local shart mart won't pay me that.
>>
>>61649307
No, fuck you
>>
>>61650086
>he’s complaining he needs at least $3k per month

Holy shit I knew there were poors on this board but wow, how do you live? Why are you on this board if you have no money to invest, genuinely curious here
>>
>>61645892
That’s because you people insist on paying a premium to live in crime ridden shithole cities for some reason. You can live in a peaceful gated community for less than that and the home will be brand new.
>>
>>61650206
Don't tell me what to do faggot.
>>
>>61646577
If you really have to justify the concept of living in a duplex by stapling the word "nice" to it, it typically suggest that duplexes are the opposite quite frankly.
