I've been living and using cryptos for 4 years.
Try selling over 10K of gold with ease. Are you even sure the gold is real?

No one is accepting silver for ground beef unc
there's quite a few farms that accept BTC and other crypto, however.
Give it up. Crypto is superior as both store of value, resistance against a despotic government, and as a currency.
BTC mogs silver and gold, XMR mogs them all.

noise. buy bitcoin. stack sats and shill.
not your keys not your coin.

bitcoin only increases demand for silver because you need it to make the computers that waste energy mining bitcoins, and then perpetually turn into silver e-waste

My mom is a boomer and doesn't own and gold or silver (except for a small amount of jewelry), but she does have crypto
Crypto has peaked
People say crypto is like the early days of the internet
Bullshit
The Internet was immediately useful, and gained huge functionality every year during the 90s and early 00's
Bitcoin is actually less useful than it was 10 years ago, which is actually amazing
>>
Incase it wasn’t clear, data shows millennials own more precious metals than boomers.
>>
>>61646298
>Buy something that doesnt go up but actually goes down in value while other inflation hedge commodities skyrocket
You know what else is going up right now? Electricity prices, have fun bagholding a piece of shit crypto that makes less and less sense for miners as it continues dropping while cost of mining continues to rise.

It's a ponzi scheme risk on asset that has run its course, cope more losers.
>Btc will go to 1 million and then my real life can begin
Snap out of it.

This! Fuel, Ammo, livestock, crops, food, building materials, etc, etc. Silver before it is too late.

My boomer parents watch fox news 24/7 and half of the commercials are for shilling precious metals. My dad has 0 experience with the stock market but wanted to jump into Nvidia close to the current ATH recently. None of their friends or any of my other boomer relatives, or anyone I know outside of a couple of friends my age for that matter, have any interest or position in crypto at all. I insisted my parents to buy Bitcoin back @ $400 in 2015/2016. They still have no interest despite potentially breaking 8 figures with my advice.
>>
>>61646310
this. its about time. its pretty the same situation with facebook, which is only been used by boomers now. used to be hip and modern but time moves one.

Bitcoin is the base. Babylon is how you put it to work without trusting anyone.
>>
>>61651426
Old people have no idea what they are doing with these things and have no idea what they are buying so they steer clear. They are aware of it and make decisions accordingly. Many cases where these people end up buying crypto end up falling for a scam posturing as crypto selling. It maybe would've ended worse like losing all their money to an Indian scammer or shitcoin gambling. You don't know where it could've ended up with these people.
Boomers plus internet gave us Qanon, a scam anyone under the age of 60 could sniff from a mile away, but boomers in their lack of understanding heard what was a bunch of mumbo jumbo masquerading as something profound and ate it up. They are too old for judging these things, similarly as how they think real things are AI and AI is real. Many of them will just dismiss everything as they are aware they have lost their wits.

>Implying commodities are going to survive the boogaloo
Anon, the actual truth is that everyone on /biz/ is delusional to the core and they really should listen more to the glowies from /x/ and /pol/. If the economy goes under, the only commodities that matter are bullets and firearms. Gold, silver, land, oil, money, labor, all become transferable at the barrel of a gun because there are no longer any property rights at that point. Simple as.

This 'HURR I bought a better commodity and my money is safe!' bullshit is just that, bullshit. It works perfectly well as long as the whole economy works perfectly well. If the world ever stops spinning, if trade ever stops taking place, if fiat goes under - all commodities go back to tipping towards force.

There is not going to be a wide scale WROL complete breakdown of civilization. It has literally never happened besides in beseiged cities, etc and there is no plausible explanation of how it might happen, besides a black swan world-ending disaster like a nuclear war or Yellowstone erupting. How could you possibly think that all trade might stop, even of PMs? That form of trade literally dates back to PRE-HISTORY. It's pure fantasy.

Only because fiat loses half of it's value every 5-10 years. You're not selling to a greater fool, you're selling space on a lifeboat. Same goes for every other modern "investment".
