Explain this to me like I'm retarded (I am)
The US Debt Clock says silver is 408:1 paper vs physical.
>This means each ounce of physical silver now theoretically backs 408 ounces of paper silver derivatives.
So they just sold the same oz of silver 408 times and didn't deliver it to anyone?
What happens now that everyone wants their physical silver delivered?

Something to note also. It’s not just that it’s not leaving China (refined). It’s that the US has basically ZERO refining capacity.

They are trying to scoop up silver ore from S America. But they can’t refine it. Will takes years to build capacity to get actual silver 999 out of it.

So this bull run ain’t ending any time soon.
>>
>>61651695
AI is telling me that China restricted importing silver to only government approved companies.
And they are stockpiling it for application use.
So all the local investors that want silver have to buy it within China
>>
>>61651695

No. Less silver on market. They are stockpiling. See also my post above about refining capacity.

Because it's 100 years older than them. I think I got it out of a bag of British .500 coins.

I was looking into it. I honestly dont think the US has the brain power or industrial experience any more to do it (no offence, you teach your kids to be fags and trannys not engineers anymore).

Just look at the KoreanZinc deal. They dont have any domestic know how anymore.

https://www.kedglobal.com/corporate-strategy/newsView/ked202601130005

For precious metals. My best bet would be ARE Holdings. They own Asahi Refining which are expanding in the US. They are Japanese and stock has been going gangbusters this year. Even stronger with the depreciating Yen currency (extra 25% from FX gains). But no announcements have been made. It wont be a US company.

Valcambi the Swiss refiner possibly. But the are now owned by a Jeet company who are mismanaging the company terrible. Ranjesh Holding or some shit. They don't have the capital to invest.

ARE Holding Inc. are a buy IMO especially with weakening yen.

Keep in mind. No announcements have been made on the precious metal refining capacity. It could be friendshored not homeshored too.

But Valcambi and Asahi (ARE Holding) are the candidates. And Valcambi (Ranjesh Holding) is in deep shit with Curry Jeet ownership ruining it.

ARE holdings still a buy IMO. Actually anything critical mineral related in japan. The Yen is in trouble. Maybe wait a week or two to see if they intervene fist to strengthen the yen first. No rush. But then Yen is toast eventually.

Sell 25%.

Buy some copper miners. It’s the smart move. Diversify. You can always get back in. Copper will be a smoother gain. Less volatility.

I’m 60% physical now
40% metals miners

Of the 40% metal miners
50% are silver mostly
30% gold mostly
20% copper and the like

This is a commodity AND precious metal bull run. But also very dangerous period. Which is why I’m not going below 50% physical. And if thing get hot. I’ll sell all my share and go 100% physical. If things cool down. I’ll sell some physical and go heavier on the industrial metals.

Dont be a silver autist. Be a metals chad. Unemotional. Clear headed.

This thread is a general for owning precious metals that you yourself have custody of. You can creatively reinterpret the title if you want, but that doesn't make you correct. Your people are at >>>/bant/cmmg
>>
>>61651908
I love /cmmg, but it doesn't make any sense decoupling discussions about pm miners from a general dedicated specifically to pms. And if this were only a a general for the business of owning precious metals that you yourself have custody of, as you say, there should be no discussions of collectible numismatics, silver supply/demand debates etc. But they are, because all of them are built on the broader pm market. And so are mines that supply that market
>>
>>61651899
Uranium is not a pm, so uranium mining truly has no place on /pmg for sure. But silver/gold mines are literally the entities that supply the market with the pms to which these threads are dedicated to
>>
>>61651877
What's stopping you from baking a /cmmg/ in /biz/ dedicated to that?

>supply/demand debates
How much it costs to buy precious metals that you yourself have custody of, and how much it will cost in the future.
Unless your mine stocks pay out dividends in what they're digging up, this is not the thread for you. Prove me wrong and post your dore stack. Until you do, you need to accept that people buying grandma's old spoons have infinitely more claim to this thread than you.

In what way? His mine doesn't pay him in gold or silver. He puts dollars in and he gets dollars out whilst holding nothing in his hand. He should be posting in /smg/, but he wants to be more special because his stocks are shiny. I told him where the shiny stock people are but he doesn't want to go there. He loves them, but he'd never ever post with them. He wants to post here, to encourage people who don't know any better to put their money in things that aren't physical precious metals that you yourself have custody of. He might as well be shilling SLV.

It depends entirely on how many phones you own. Post your phone stack and I'll let you know if you've got what it takes.

Yes.
>supply the market with pms
This is the part that we care about here. I don't care if Mine A had a good year or if Mine B had a bad year. I care if the entire every mine in the whole world has

3) Not enough silver to meet global demand

Stern
>There will be generations with silver because of what you did.
Schindler
>I didn't stack enough!
Stern
>You stacked so much.
[Schindler looks at his car, a shitty camry with a bad tailpipe]
Schindler
>This car. Goeth would have bought this car. Why did I keep the car? Ten kilos right there. Ten kilos. Ten more kilos.
[removing Nazi pin from lapel, creating a horrifying expression on Stern's face]
Schindler
>This pin. Two kilos. This is gold. Two more kilos. He would have given me two for it, at least one. One more kilo. A kilo of silver, Stern. For this. I could have gotten one more kilo... and I didn't! And I... I didn't!
[Stern incredulously repins the NAZI party pin to Schindler, who was not thinking clearly, and is beside himself with FOMO]

In the years following WW2, 6 million kilos of silver were stolen by jewish criminals. The 1100 kilos stacked by Schindler have since grown to millions today. This sketch is dedicated to the 6,000,000

When the American civil war was nearing its end, wealthy southerners were trying find ways to store their wealth in a form that the Northern raiders could not steal. One fellow used all of his funds to buy bricks and just piled up a mountain of them on his plantation, figuring the northern rabble would not bother trying to haul them away. Seems like the same would go for a ton of copper. just make sure it is in a single ingot.

Not everything is a conspiracy theory schizo. The goal is to get rich or secure funds for future survival with PMs here. Miners are related to PMs. Some think miners are as good of play or better to secure funds and since miners are relevant to PMs that conversation should be allowed to discuss.
If you want just buy physical that's your decision and is fine however not everyone thinks like that so others opinions should be respected.
