Hi,sooo basically i went to uni for a year hated broke down etc etc. I can go back for another course if I really wanted to but it would probably be for something else. was computer science btw. I am 20 years old currently, only have £1.5k in savings right now, I live in the uk. My parents are retarded (one is on disability and the other is foreign and barely speaks english, basically impossible to hire, worked one warehouse job for a day, cried and quit) and both on benefits, and do not care too much what I do. I've thought about it, and I could be a complete fucking leach (they are fine with this, they do not leave the house, my mother is quite literally an adult ipad kid village woman, so low costs) and use them for all of my food costs/basic necessities, and save literally 90 - 99% of my salary, lets say for 2 years of working I could hopefully get £40k right? Would this be worth it. I currently do not really want to go to uni, work corporate roles, or do a trade at all, I mean maybe I have fallen for interent doomer posting but every career seems fucking miserable and not that worth it unless you really enjoy it or are good at it. With 40k id be hoping to invest it in something really really braindead and coast somewhere with a cheap COL in the uk such as a rural area, but that might be delusional so I am unsure. I would eventually want to move out at some point because living with them is miserable for my mental health, and I wouldn't mind living a rural area like scotland / wales if it meant i didnt have to work too much or something. Maybe relevant but I really hate driving too, maybe this will change in the future but I dont want to pay for jewish ass car insurance, plus when i was trying to learn i was pretty shit driver, so my ideal life would be one where I didn't need to own a car.thank you /biz/
