>Canada formally becomes best friends with China
>Just in time to watch America's collapse
They called us leafs. Turns out we were North America's lifeboat
>>
>>61659357
how's this effect the TSX?
>>
>>61659370
It won't. OP isn't a leaf.
TSX is doing pretty good but the country still has a long way to go. Carney is slowly decoupling the economy from the ponzi that is real estate but our stock market is still based heavily on
>banking
>energy
Both of which are doing very well right now. If US banking shits the bed, and it looks like it might if donnies tantrum at jp morgan goes through, our stock market will be hurt.
The one saving grace we have is that for all the shit Carney gets for his word salad and collaboration with enemies abroad, it's actually very beneficial for us right now.
Devil you know and all that is paying off well...for now.

is it just me or was there no oil talk in the recent china deal?
do we already have all the oil deals with them we need?
I've been hoping enbridge dips lower so i can position, and then new a pipeline gets announced, but only after i buy
>>
>>61659419
I didn't see any but I don't see why Carney would blow his oil load until after CUSMA renegotiations inevitablely fail. It's just a stepping stone.
From what I understand, given the current situation in Venezuela, China very much wants Canadian oil now. This would require oil ports set up in BC and pipelines which of course BC wouldn't want.
Carney has already said he basically doesn't give a fuck what the premiers or indigenous people think and will bypass them to build national projects.

Watching Danielle Smith loving dickweeds and tree hugging hippies simultaneously seethe is absolutely incredible. All it took for the liberal party to do something right was to elect a 2008 era conservative

in what possible way lol

the courts of our shithole country won't approve that
Funny seeing liberals living with the mess they created

>Meanwhile in realityland living standards are down 3% in the last 5 years and the decline is showing signs of acceleration.

Dont worry though, a few chinese shitboxes and an oil pipeline that is never ever getting built will totally change things! Just one more thread bro and things will finally start getting better.

House prices are down nearly 20 percent in major metropolitan areas while more vulnerable smaller city markets are pretty stable at decent prices. Precious metals companies are doing very well but thats more of a result of global trends but our retail sector is doing pretty okay with companies like Dollarama doing very well. The result is a better balance sheet for pensions and investment firms and the canadian stock market as a whole.

Our courts are a scam and always have been. They bend the knee to the PM. Whether its spending millions in looking for bodies that don't exist or building projects, theyve always caved eventually.

The only people who aren't happy right now with Carney are fags who spend too much time reading shithole papers whining about muh liberals and commies who would kill 10 Canadians for another 20 to come in our country. His approval is like 70 percent right now for a reason
>>
>>61659534
i didn't vote for him, but that was the one silver lining.. that he at least had credentials and some pull with other international elites.. anyone's got to be better then Trudy in that regard.

I recently sold a 1960s house in small town SK for 262, it needed all new windows, new deck, re-grading in whole back area, previous guy had fucked up the whole front yard to be rocks and weeds which needed landscaping weekly to avoid getting fined. Electrical had never been updated, furnace cracked. Hoping I made right choice and can get back in, in a couple years in better place.

It's not carneys fault they raised rates in '22

Lol lmao the libs are polling at 39% in the gayest leftiest polls and the government is running "hey guys we're actually doing something ads" on tv, get ready for a springtime election

>carney alienating liberals, centrists, conservatives and separatists simultaneously in less than a week

Canada is speed running balkanization, it's about to get annexed and the CAD will suffer the fate of weimar era german marks as there is a mad scramble for US dollars which will simultaneously wipe out canadian debt and give relief to america as canada absorbs excess US debt.
>>
>>61660479
Canada looked at Ukraine cozying up to Europe before being invaded and decided it needed its own white men purged by forcing America's hand with Chinese influence in their back yard. It's not gonna work for them because white people aren't going to fight for what's left of this country.
>>
>>61659370
Not much. The bullrun of copper, gold, silver, lithium, antimony, platinum is keeping TSX alive.
