Should I get a silverado?
no, get yourself a golden retriever
An old one. New ones are fugly
I’m about to buy a pre-zogtronic (2017 or older) Tundra Crewmax. I’m open to a cheaper brand but want this truck to last me
>>61663444Sure, if you like the truck and will make you happy and you budget for itBut it's want, not a needDon't be that retard who buys a new truck and is living paycheck to paycheck with no investments
>>61663444You should get a Canyonerohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PI_Jl5WFQkA
even mutts' trucks have spanish names
>>61663444My coworker told me in May how he had just got out of debt and I congratulated him. A couple months later I saw him again and he was driving a new Denali diesel. He paid either 80k or high 70s for it. I don't get these people. Pick rel is a 2026 but I think his is a 2025

>>61663496He paid closer to $120k for a denali diesel. I know because my boss paid that for a 2024 model early last year.
>>61663465Ok, thanks for the recommendations…
>>61664383Wild if true. He drives home every week like 2 hours away
>>61663444The nu-Silverado is fucking gay. Only get one from between 1990 and 2005.
>>61663444RAM feels 10x better to drive, so smooth and responsive, GMC would also be nice
>>61663444no
>>61664702The GMC is a Silverado with a different grill and badges and slightly different interior. It’s 98% the same truck.>>61663465What’s the zogtronic he’s referring to? I have a 2015 Tundra but just curious. Also OP I also suggest a 2nd gen Tundra. Just make sure it doesn’t have the cam tower leak and they’re the easily the most reliable. I’ve got 130k miles and it’s still like a new truck with zero issues whatsoever.
>>61666529Yeah I’ve read to def get the 5.7L engine. I’ll look up the cam tower leak you’re referencing to keep an eye out. Prob lookin at like 30k for a 150k mile one, maybe 33kish more accurately. I just want to secure my forever truck before it disappears
>>61666529Thanks for reply. And zogtronic is like all the computer shit and advanced sensors, like you’re fucking dashboard suggesting you take a break after driving for extended periods, windshield sensors that need to be calibrated when replaced, CarPlay spyware slop to name just a few.
>>61666555OK gotcha. Yeah fuck that stuff.
>>61663465>>61663444Toyota
>>61663444Why a truck?I'm very happy with my Seat Ibiza desu
>>61667812At least Toyotas are easy to work on, but I don't have a garage and I live in an apartment complex, so it kinda sucks.
>>61663444Yes you should get a 2002 with the small block 350. Why would you buy a new truck that is shittier than a 25 year old truck?
>>61663444you'll want to avoid the 6.2L L87 Engine. over 700k were recalled and they have reliability issues. Pre zog Tundras with the 5.7 are still over 10yrs old and nothing is cheap repair wise anymore. It really depends on how handy you are as to whether going with used or warrantied is best for you.
>>61663444Are you hauling anything? If so pre 2003 Cummins, then 7.3 Powerstroke then pre 06 Duramax. If you're not hauling anything and just want muh truck, pre 2021 Tundra.
>>61668503If he's not hauling anything he should just get a Tacoma.
>>61663444Yes
>>61663444How Mexican are you?
>>61663444checked. my brother just bought a 2026 silverado and he's a massive faggot.
