This is FUD because anyone with half a brain will see that and immediately be put off from the investment, note these moonboy retards never post stacks, not ever, because they hold no silver themselves, they come here in bad faith to try and make /pmg/ look bad by behaving like le epic HODL apes

People are not saying it's going to "moon" because it's cool and shit like crypto moonboys.

People are saying it because they believe a currency and market collapse may arrive, in which case the value of silver may as well be 1000x in USD nominal terms. In such scenarios, USD value won't matter anymore.

People are holding physical because they are afraid of such collapses. If there was no fear of systemic collapse, people would just hold ETFs such as SLV or PSLV

I myself have no such fears so I just own ETFs and stocks, but it's a plausible fear.

Typically they entice normalfags by claiming the new currency has more buying power than the previous currency. This illusion can be created by offering partner corporations tax breaks or other incentives. That's the carrot. The stick is telling normalfags that they have a limited time to exchange their old currency before it becomes illegal to use for payments.

I'm thinking of something with a little more bite than a mere audit.

If the average person could understand how control of a country's finances could be used to manipulate the economy, amplifying natural boom and bust cycles, promotiing wars, literally stealing the purchasing power and the savings of the people, there would be a revolution the next day.

I would wager many of the people in this thread don't fully understand the link between central banking and the misery working class people are experiencing.

Today the jannies on this board ban people from saying mean things about jeets.

We seem to have a vibe shift from jews to jeets. I miss the good old /setf/ days.

On biz, the theme is getting rich. On /setf/ the theme was we need to take our money back and be self sufficient.

I've seen people complain about prepper posts here. As if a big stack would save someone, absent any other preparations. It's as if they want to turn us into giant loot boxes to be harvested when the time comes.

I don't have an informed opinion about relative abundance of gold and silver. But remember that supply is only half the price equation. And while current industrial use is relevant to demand now, future events, such as remonetization, might make industrial use trivial by comparison. I don't know how that will turn out and neither do you.

The rumor I was referring to, and laugh at, is the supposed rumor that most of the world's gold is owned by the Rothschild family. No facts, no where or when or by whom, or how much. Just a suggestion of a rumor. I like my facts a little more substantial. Like the facts of central bank purchases around the world, gold production numbers, and known cultural hordes (India for example).

I also rely on the fact that fiat money has funded warfare everywhere and always, when available. and gold has never, in all of history, been used to pay soldiers.

I'll let you have the final words because I don't want to clog the thread with your nonsense.
>>

I'll repeat myself, if you see people saying they'd sell at $200, $250 and $300, and think "That's too early!" Then your stack is too small, and you got here too late, you are the equivalent of buying BTC at $120k and saying you won't sell until $500k.

You missed the party, we were at $14 fucking dollars. $300 Is absolutely absurd.

It’s literally just Basel III. The BIS made shorting metals more expensive, and recategorized physical metals as being low risk highly liquid assets that can be counted 1:1 as “foreign currency” on bank balance sheets. It went into effect on July first.

LBMA vaults got emptied out in early 2025, Basel III went into effect on July 1st and then the price started taking off because people started realizing that the city of London only has paper.

Think about how many people are stacking gold at over $4000 an ounce. Silver is CHEAP under $100 and its still CHEAP under $150. As soon as normies start panic buying there will be NO supply left. Coin shops will be out of business and online retailers will have to ration supplies. Costco already had to stop selling silver they sold out of millions of eagles in one weekend and ended all silver sales since then. Apmex is starting limit orders. Vendors are backlogged for months waiting for restock. The US mint just doubled its prices. Not to mention Comex is more barren than a 30 year old single liberal roastie with cats. The shills on this board saying silver is expensive should learn to read the writing on the wall.

>LCS jews are running out of silver.
Many of the retail producers like the US Mint, RCM, have slowed down production because it's very hard to hedge when silver is in backwardation due to COMEX/LBMA fractional reserve games.

Any silver that is available is going into 1000oz bars. We're entering a period where premiums skyrocket and retail switches to mostly buy mode to vacuum up boomer stacks.

I will admit that I did not anticipate that silver would become largely unobtainium in many places.

Potentially, especially given that mods/admins may have access to your real ip address on this honeypot, and if they allow jeets into positions of trust and authority, they would sell your home address out to a cartel for a mercury dime.

Posting the entire stack to flex is imprudent in my opinion. Posting individual pieces, particularly ones that may be interesting or unique should be minimal risk.

I just happen to play in paper a lot, and the way that market mechanisms work really does warrant statements like...
>the market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent
>i'd rather buy a good company at a bad price than a bad company at a good price
>you will not sell at the top
You can look at any supply shortage situation in commodities and see complete face ripping charts that would justify prices upwards of 300, but the likelihood of anyone selling for fiat catching 300 is slim. I'll add a note that Silver seems kind of anomalous because it's partially monetary and its properties allow for and promote hoarding / Gresham's.

Anyway, I decided to read and I do think you're right that people will need to sell/exchange their shit and need to have an exit plan. That said I would suggest you consider this argument for your strategy:
>what is your short term target for gold?
>what is the G:S ratio for that period?
For me, a 225 silver is much harder to see than an 8k gold. and at 8-9k gold, I expect a minimum of a 1:65 ratio, but it would probably tighten to 50 or 40 over time with relative ease. This would justify a price range of 123/oz at a bare minimum and 225 on the higher side. I think that 225 is a really conservative measure and that volatility and market mechanisms will push the price quite a bit higher, but I'm not going to be able to call it. I still expect 225 well before 8k gold simply due to these mechanisms.
>>
>>61668424
>>61668313
This is how it starts. They are already trying to prevent normies from entering the market. They know a tidal wave of retail is about to start hoarding. Premiums are probably going to go up BIG time too. Thats why now is a good price to enter. Before premiums on eagles are 50-100%

This, I knew it would be compressed but my LCS is basically out of everything.

I have been buying from them for 3 years now and the shelves have always been full, and I have never seen another person in the shop and now the shelves are basically empty and I see 4-5 people come and go during the 10-15 minutes I spend there. Their shelves sold out of everything except for like a few oz of gold, a handful of 10-100oz silver bars and some 40% junk silver (they sold out of 90%, I bought up the last of their dimes last week).

I live in a rural area, where no one stacks. I have no idea how crazy it is in larger cities.

I can believe there is a haircut on constitutional, but I can't believe they are doing a $15/oz wholesale rape for bullion. There either was a miscommunication, or the jew is lying his ass off.

Given how high the retail premiums are to BUY silver, how retarded would a jew be to sell bullion for $15 below spot.

>And he basically said fuck that.
In that case, the market is completely broken, thanks to the jews running the LBMA and the COMEX. I still personally have trouble believing it, but I'm not saying it isn't possible.

Companies like Tesla and Samsung (China too) are buying dore bars and concentrate for ABOVE spot, and then paying refiners to turn it into .999 bars.

In order for the refiners to want such a massive haircut, we have to be in a regime where hedging is completely broken, so the refiners have to charge a huge discount to internally hedge against the risks of price volatility.

This completely breaks the market and if it continues will be pushing the price up to $200 in a couple of months. Industry cannot live without silver, and COMEX/LBMA are running out.

/pmg/ whales might become millionaires sooner than I expected.

You need to determine this for yourself. I think we still have a 2x that's very likely... having picked a bunch of "fun/pretty" stuff that I liked looking at, random generic and just generic in general is actually really fun and maybe more fun than owning cool designs. Other than a select few rounds/coins, you'll come to find that there's only few designs that you'll keep as collectibles or until the time is right to let go. For my "collection" its...
>Aputannia and other meme rounds
>one 10 oz RCM
>one 10 oz St Helena Virtues bar
>3 Asahi cyber rounds
>3 Tokelau Icon Diana
>I guess one ASE and weiner?
>some mercs?

Everything else is just kinda whatever. I like that I'm not holding onto a billion buffalos, but learning that if you turn it sideways and it gets "sneaky" makes them a lot more fun.

Which makes the 90% the steal of the century. Many new guys here on /pmg/ weren't into silver back when constitutional had a huge premium OVER spot.

It will again, because it's the most durable, recognizable, fractional silver you can find. The 1 gram Valcambi breakable bars are a very cute novelty, but imagine your pockets after a week of bouncing around sharp edged pieces of metal in them.

Plus, they have no ridges, what will happen when they pass through the hands of jews?

Gold is a really good trade right now. Silver is a roller coaster (that is also a really good trade if you can handle it). the risk reward of gold is superior to most, imo. Between the buy sell spread (x2) and the 50:1 ratio, I would hang on to my gold.

The last time we went to the LCS to buy a kilo of silver they had no bars under 100oz, just high premium coins, so we went with 1/2 oz of gold.

We prefer buying silver currently, but gold is okay.

If the ratio was 120 oz of silver for one oz of gold, we would be selling our gold for silver right now.

Questions bros

They arent melting down mercury dimes and barber dimes and walking liberty halves right? Im scared that once the melt value surpasses the former melt/numismatic value these things are going to slowly get wiped out.

I cant help but wonder whats going to happen to the numismatics market? If they start wiping out old crusty coins in order to make shiny new bars, I feel like it will also drive that side of the market up as well.

For example certain dates of Barber Dimes like the 1915-S had mintages below 1m coins (which is comparatively low and usually commands a premium) and they would go for maybe 7-11 dollars instead of 5-6 for a normal date in similar condition. Now the melt value for the coins is $6.00, tack on whatever premium and bam, youre now paying what was once being paid for a “semi-key” date, thus rendering the semi-key date totally irrelevant.

Please hold on to your old coins and constitutional silver bros, dont let them melt them down!

>I plan on buying all the way up to $1000/oz
The problem with fiat endpoints is that it's a floating standard with no reference.

$1000 could conceivably be the price for a cup of coffee. Silver/blowjob ratio has a more firm basis in reality than the silver/fiat ratio.

Fiat has completely distorted our reality. It's one of the jew's main superpowers.

I only think in terms of fiat to be able to convert the price of one tangible or commodity into ounces of silver.

For example, 14 years ago we bought a new SUV for around $40k (CAD). That's about 300 oz of silver today. It cost over 1000 oz of silver back in 2011. That much silver is worth closer to $140k today.

I'm mentally converting every price I see into oz of silver when I ask, is it worth it?
