How long did it take you to reach $10,000 and how did you get there?

6 months. Save up and hodl a blue chip stock
>>

Save and hold. It isn't that hard these days.
>>

It looks like I started in August '24 and didn't get there until a week ago. It wasn't until I bought (on leverage) and helds that the gains really started coming in

i inherited 10k lol
but if you are talking only about crypto, i got into 5 figs by farming airdrops back in 2021-22

I dropped like $3,000 on boomer rocks after the covid crash when silver was about $11/oz and a couple months later I was at $10k. Then I just continued to DCA like $400/mo into more boomer rocks and I have done this for the past 5 years.

Couple of months of saving. 10k is easy to save with a job and living within your means. And 10k is nothing. 100k is nothing. 500k is where something starts.
>>
I think it was like 8 months working fast food when I was 16

It took me about 6 months. Jan-July. work is slow til spring but once spring hit i worked 7 days a week March-August. They'd fuck up the schedule sometimes and id have a day off so it wasnt as crazy as it sounds but i had no more than 2 days off a month.

Im at $90k now 3 years in. This isnt my 1st $10k. but 1st $10k with a house and paying bills.

2 paychecks because i live home
>>

lmao you just get a fucking job and you don't blow it.

Drive a shitty car and live in a basic apartment while mostly buying basic unprepared foods for a couple months.

Just eat rice and beans or whatever unironically.
>>
>>61669864
So my first 10k was actually an inheritance from my grandfather, which he did for the grandchildren for tax reasons
I was 21 and needed a car, so I spent almost the entire amount on a used car, which I ended up driving the next 10 years
If you mean via working, it was just living at home and saving
If you mean investing, it was buying boomer mining stocks
>>
bro if you don't have at least 10k after living with your parents it's unironically a skill issue
>>

First job out of school, I'm not white so my parents didn't kick me out or charge me to be alive.

i made it all the way to 100k by wageslaving for 12 years.
from 18 to 30 all i did was go work and then came back home to sleep. i also only ate once per day.
12 years of not doing anything except working.
no alcohol, no smoking, no drugs, no going out on "vacations", no getting pussy and minimizing expenses to the minimum.
just working and sleeping for 12 years.
not to mention i'm from a third world country so the fact that i had 100k at 30 years old and no debt meant that i was in a better situation than literally 99% of the people in my country.

then i decided to try to start a business and lost it all.
i fell for the "just start a business bro" meme and then when things were not working out, instead of accepting my loss, i pushed through until i literally had no more money to spend.
i feel dead inside.
