HR is rabidly delusional and representative of complete corporate authoritarianism. They don't want you to have a SINGLE independent thought or they will give your job in a hearbeat to a destitute Filipino single mother. You are NOT allowed to ask questions. You are NOT allowed to ask for a job. You are NOT allowed to criticize the holy brand image and the lazy girl social media jobs. GO FUCK YOURSELF, GOY.
>>61670670The HR whores will be replaced by AI anyways. Remember when they come begging at your doorsteps.
>>61670670Check your privilege and ask about pronouns, diversity quotas and the possibility to have your gender reassigned to be a better fit for the company. You also forgot to take a firm stance against trump, white people and walls. And just a hint, you should practice distancing yourself from your own opinions a bit more, mkay?
>>61670670Not my problem.
>>61670670>>61670721>>61670794>>61671611As an HR recruitment agent I can tell that asking for money in the first interview is a very very big red flag for us. We are looking for someone that is a great addition to our team. Not someone who is only in it to make a quick buck. If you ask about salary in the first interview it tells us you are selfish and don't really care about the company and put your own interests over ours. You need to realize why you take the job to begin with. Is it to make money or is it to make the company money? Because if you don't make the company money, how are we gonna pay you? Something to keep in mind for your next interview.

>>61671835>>61671845Yall are too stupid to realize >>61671830 is exactly right. If you really want to make the interviewer happy and get the job, youd be trying your best to ask questions that make it seem like youre a great asset to their team/project. Talking about your skillset and what you can provide/bring to the table.
>>61670670oh say can you see
>>61671875shits weak
>>61671830>the first interview >implying there's more than one
>>61671875That’s only one part of the full interview Anon.
You'd think HR would be the first thing to get automated, but it seems to be the most entrenched position in the company
>>61672041I would not be surprised if CVS started doing multiple rounds of interviews, and other retail and fast food places too, since employers realized they can be super picky and waste everyone’s time without recourse.
>>61674093Really any 'professional' job is relatively safe as long as it isn't in tech. Either laws or entrenchment will save them, it is the low skill and entry level that is completly fucked
>>61671830>As an HR recruitment agentI wish death upon you and your family
>>61670670>salaryDepends on the question asked, could be just asking how much you will get paid which of course doesn't work>responsibilitiesYou should have read the job listng retard. If you have a further concern, say something like "how would an average day at this position be like?">work cultureNow this is a bullshit thing for HR to say, work culture is the easiest question to ask and is directly apart of what I stated earlier. If they are whining about this then you should not work there anyway
>>61674093Anon, if women are no longer sent to adult daycare then our fake and gay economy will face a massive recession on account of a drastic decline in consumer spending. Getting ghosted by HR is a vital part of keeping the retards who account for over 85% of spending happy

Most jobs are fake and shouldn't even exist, this is what you should expect when interviewing for such jobs. If it was a real job, you still might get this as a filter if there is no shortage of qualified workers.
>>61670670They want you to be 100% focused on the work, not salary or benefits or heaven forbid - time off.
>>61670670i have never gotten a job that wasnt a premeditated thing set up by a friend. even at big bloated companies with lots of controls, they had to interview candidates for a fake job posting that was guaranteed to me

>>61674093HR is like customer service. The point is to serve as a speed bump for the corporation. They don't want to make these things more efficient. Corporations only want to hire the dumbest, most suppliant people who will accept the lowest pay possible. If an applicant can endure working with HR to get hired, they can endure the humiliation that awaits them once they are employed. Same with customer service. They want you to GIVE UP and stop calling them. They don't want to fix your issue. Only the most dedicated customer can navigate the labyrinth of phone trees and hold music and being transferred to a dozen ESLs.

>>61671830That's fine, your desire to hire bullshitters will be reflected in your company roster.I will and have constantly talked about pay and benefits in the interview process. And in the end I actually like the fact that HR is ruining the industry/company by introducing this manipulative verbal diarrhea because it still benefits me in the end by comparison. So I guess I should thank you.
>>61676549>>61676632It's so bizarre, but 45k seems like some kind of existential cutoff for every industry. There's simply no middleground, its all>30-45k with minimal enty requirements, but well work you to the bone>80-120k but we require seven specific traits and skillsets only veteran employees in three separate industries could possibly accrueAnything in the 50-80k range either doesnt exist or has recruiters experience nonstop existential crises as they contemplate the horror of paying mildly livable wages for mildly skilled work. What do you MEAN you don't need 15y experience for this, we've got to at least have them answer three separate third party aptitude tests, do two online interviews, then an in person, then another online so the team can get a real 'feel'...
>>61671830In the off chance this isn't bait tomorrow I will go to work even harder building datacenters that will take your job. Do you think a hyper efficient AI cannot post a pay bracket to save time for fewer interviews? We'll crash the grid taking every kw for sale, turn on the generators and burn diesel into the night and suck up and steam out every single gallon of potable water in the county if that's what it takes to make sure you die in the streets. Let's see you be a team player not worried about pay when you're interviewing for the fry chef position at Arby's.
>>61670794You joke but I was interviewing at a coffee shop and the woman made a "fuck Trump" joke while interviewing me. I was absolutely flabbergasted.
The idea that asking about salary in a first interview is a “very big red flag” reflects a one-sided and outdated view of the employer–employee relationship.First, employment is a **mutual exchange**, not a moral test. Candidates are evaluating the company just as much as the company is evaluating them. Compensation is a fundamental part of that exchange. Wanting clarity on pay does not signal selfishness; it signals **practical decision-making**. Time, skills, and labor have value, and responsible professionals need to know whether a role aligns with their financial realities before investing further effort.Second, framing salary discussions as evidence that a candidate “doesn’t care about the company” creates a false dichotomy. A person can care deeply about contributing value **and** care about being fairly compensated. In fact, transparency around pay often correlates with **higher trust, better alignment, and longer retention**. Avoiding the topic early can waste time on both sides if expectations are misaligned.Third, the assertion that candidates should prioritize “making the company money” before considering their own needs ignores economic reality. People do not work out of altruism; they work to sustain their lives. Expecting candidates to suppress that reality benefits only the employer and shifts risk entirely onto the worker. A healthy company does not fear this conversation—it welcomes it.Fourth, calling candidates “selfish” for asking about pay reveals more about the organization than the applicant. It suggests a culture that may undervalue employees, discourage open communication, or equate loyalty with silence. Strong candidates often see this as a **red flag about the company**, not the other way around. Finally, professional hiring processes increasingly encourage **early salary transparency** to reduce bias, improve efficiency, and promote equity. Many high-performing candidates will simply
