I hope everyone realizes you are living through uncharted history. We live it every day passed 50 bucks... but we will see Silver passing 100 soon.

Without any hyperbole, when all the boomers are dead and you are an old fuck, you will talk about these days like faggots who bought Apple stock in the 80s talk about it. But you will have gained actual Wealth, actual Money this era.

Let's say it hits 100 tonight, you will remember that (in happiness) akin to someone who lived through 1929 (in pain). Remember these days.

I did it /pmg/, I filled up my Canadian Type Set.
I still need the 20 cent piece, which is way out of my price range, but besides that the album is finally full. All of these coins, except for a few of the Dollars and large cents were purchased at or below spot in bulk lots of Canadian Junk I bought over the past few years (even the Nickels and Pennies were bought as parts of bulk lots).
The final and most expensive coin added was the George V Dollar, which ran me $60.

You think the US government will need to stop printing money for a year with record debt, record deficits, and an economy in recession?

I'll happily take the other side of that bet, thank you very much.

I think silver may ultimately hit over $300 by year end and over $1000 over the next several years.

If WW3 happens, there will be deflation, but effective purchasing power of gold and silver will increase nonetheless.

Stackers will be able to buy nice homesteads and have metal left over.

>Deflation is the least of your worries
My main point is that under every non-nuclear WW3 model, inflation/hyperinflation is the norm.

I just included the deflation alternate scenario because I'm an ackshually kind of guy.

There is a non-zero probability of a nuclear WW3 in the next 10 years. War between great powers is inevitable if you believe Mearsheimer. Whether it goes full nuclear exchange is a separate question.
America and China are caught in a Thucydides trap. Some type of conflict is inevitable. There is separate but related impending conflict between China and India.
https://youtu.be/NrcbGIs_k0s

>The Thucydides Trap is a term coined by the American political scientist Graham T. Allison to describe a tendency towards war when an emerging power threatens to displace an existing great power as a regional or international hegemon. The term is inspired by the ancient Athenian historian and military commander Thucydides, who wrote that “it was the rise of Athens and the fear that this instilled in Sparta that made war inevitable.”

Its not the same as silver. Silver to them is an industrial metal critical for the digital prison they're building. They don't suppress gold the way they do silver. If they wanted to, the billionaires could buy up all the silver but they don't because they need it availible and cheap. Anyone removing silver from the market (even retail) hurts the banks, the MIC/WW3, and the surveillance state. Silver really does slay the system.

>Nuclear war is very survivable if you know what you're doing, especially if you don't live in a city or near military bases
It is. Very few people will be directly killed by the blast or the fallout. Millions will die because they can't get their insulin or kidney dialysis or their heart medication.

This should be taken as a strong hint for any of you who have medical conditions that NEED constant medication, or loved ones who do. Have 6 months to one year of meds in a cool dry place, even if you have to go to Mexico to stock up.

Fallout activation products (radioisotopes created by neutrons activating dust and debris from a nuclear explosion are only hot for a few hours. After a week at most, it is virtually normal background radiation. A few days sheltered in a relatively airtight room and you're good to go.

Obviously, you don't want to be stuck in the big city under those circumstances.

If you are downwind of a fallout hotspot, I would recommend you have a couple weeks of emergency food, water, emergency toilet provisions, (ie , buckets and plastic bags) and an room that you can more or less seal reasonbly airtight. Gas masks are optional and not necessary if you can get the room mostly airtight.

A hepa filter will remove nearly all radionuclides from the air.

It looks great, but it's just another white metal that's a little harder and denser than gold, and doesn't rust or tarnish.

It's not as identifiable/recognizable as gold, and more expensive than silver. Silver clearly makes the best money for widespread circulation.

I'm just disputing the contention that platinum was never money. It in fact was circulating money, in one country, at one time in history.
