Anyone else "made it" or close to making it?

I quit my job 2 months ago. I made like $600k on penny stocks and I have enough confidence it's going to double in the next 6 months so I quit.
I also own a house.

It feels so weird not working. I bought a few new things for myself like a new TV. I spend all my time inside my house fucking around on my computer.
I order uber eats for all of my groceries and meals.
>>
Fuck you I hate you. Im close to killing myself this year because all the hopes of ever making it are out the window.
If you make it, leave this board, dont fucking brag about it nobody wants to see it while theyre miserable

I am not close, but I am 7 months ahead of my 5-year schedule to a million since I doubled my money this month.

This. I hate this life and want to be violent to my coworkers and then shoot myself. I fucking hate this shit, its driving me insane.

here's a life hack: if you simply put 4 million dollars into a 4% savings account, you'll get $160k/year for doing nothing
$160k/y is more than enough to quit your job for some time unless you have 5 children or something

Most people who made it are long gone and never come back to this shithole.

Better life hack: put 5 million USD into a 4% savings account and another 5 million into the S&P 500 and you will make about 300k a year doing nothing.

no savings accounts pay that much
You're lucky to get that from dividend stocks.
What you should REALLY do is put your money in an ETF and live off the appreciation over time.

Congrats anon. "Made it" years ago. Money spent on experiences is better than just buying stuff. Your stuff can end up owning you. Then you're just back to being a slave. Just my take on it.
>>
>>61684699
I recommend grocery shopping yourself, especially on weekdays, because the stores are full of moms lusting over you and it's always fun to stare people dead in the eye with your best bobby lee impression when you actually pay for food without using food stamps.

>made it and wasting life being a shut in neet
Fuck you wasting your fortune and not doing anything cool with it.

I made it into 8 figures, and I am still a virgin.
I don't feel like I've made it at all, I am just a loser driving a lambo and living in a big house.
It turns out the real wealth has always been genetics, and I don't have it since I am a manlet.

protip:

there isnt anything to do with money except perhaps travel a lot

even warren buffet and elon musk say the same thing it does not scale at all. you have same phone, same computer and eat same mcdonalds meal as eveyrone else

well buffet says only difference he does not need to wait in lines because has own airplane. but outside of that money does not scale. it buys freetime that is it, after that everything else is same as before

I have 90% VA disability with 2 dependents and make $92k/yr as an IT guy who spends 6 of my 7 hours at work on my phone watching reels.

Feels pretty close to making it. Just need to get that 100% rating then I'll probably look for a cushy remote job.

Based bro hope you kill yourself its great to see a young man with the confidence to strive for what he believes in
>>
>>61684699
Yea I have 3 sons.
>>
>>61684699
Any thoughts of marriage or at least a girlfriend/boyfriend if that is your thing? I'd travel. Don't get use to spending all day at home. You'll go fucking insane over time. Get out of the house. Get around people. Find a hobby that keeps you active. Take up gardening or fruit growing.
>>
>>61685660
Sadly you are correct.
I wish more poorfags knew this.
I have no desire for fancy designer clothes and sports cars, so I'm basically just a welfare neet with a bit more money.

Congrats on making it, I've been dreaming of making it for the past 15 years. I'm not built for the wagie life but I'm forced to do it. I feel like I got a taste when crypto all went up when Trump won in 2024, it felt like I might actually make it. But now a year later I'm only slightly closer.
I was pretty close in November, was about ~110k from my minimum FIRE number at the peak (need 940k to live off 4%). Now I'm 250k away.
I was hoping to have enough to quit my job this month since not having an income the year I take profits would be the most tax beneficial, I'd save something like 30k in taxes.
I wouldn't have sold all my crypto even if I hit my number though, I want to keep at least 1 BTC, so maybe I wasn't close.
I got an extra 5 days of vacation from work and a 5% raise, so that's something at least.
I'm just tired of being a wagie, I have a ton of my own projects I'd rather work on and I don't want to be beholden to my boss/coworkers. I don't want to be be too tired at the end of the day to do anything, it sucks feeling rushed in my free time on the weekends because it's my only reprieve from waging.

I don't own a house because it's all retardedly expensive around me, the extra maintenance cost + property tax + insurance + capital would mean I'd need an additional ~$860k just for an average house. I'd rather just rent an apartment and retire 10 years earlier, maybe travel around lower cost of living countries and live better and save more money that way. My entire city has been turning indian anyway so buying property might not be the best investment anyway.

It buys the most expensive thing on the planet which is to not have to work, the thing I want most
>>

Data mining thread but I don’t care

-300k usdc
-185k crypto
-400k real estate (paid off)
-150k cash

Still live with my parents, feel close to making it. Too scared to go harder into crypto/stocks at the moment. Hoping for a bull market that will pump my crypto position at least 5x, otherwise my other hope is a proper bear market and I bear a shit ton of chainlink under $5
>>
>>61684707
>>61684788
If you don’t make it your next plan should just be to comfy max and live as cheap as possible, like get a cheap plot of land and build a cabin or something and only work the bare amount you need to pay for food and other living expenses
>>
>>61685986
stop investing in crypto, its dead

I quit my job and moved to Thailand last summer. I told my family, friends, and coworkers that it'll be a one year sabbatical but I have no real plans of ever going back to work unless my investments have a huge drop in value. My NW was just under $2 mil when I quit work, hit an ATH of $2.7 mil and now sitting around $2.2 mil. For some income, I'm renting my house out to my little sister and I'm experimenting with selling call options on my tech stocks.

Well, if you want to die young then you don't need to save that much. But I think you should use the money on healthy habits.
