Yes. Platinum is also extremely hard to separate from the other PGM metals. The chemistry isn't simple like silver or gold, which also adds to the cost of production.

They use platinum bushings are used to extrude molten glass for fiberglass manufacture.

Been away for a few days.
I heard refineries are now pushing sells to like $15 back of spot.
In theory, this means that trading some silver into USD would mean a huge hit.
Silver is currently around $95.
Less $15 and you're only getting $80 per ounce.
Lame.
Well, assuming there's anything to this.
Does anyone have any insight on this?

Sure, but we are in a curated, manipulated market, so the paper price doesn't mean anything.

Slurp whatever you can, while you can, price will go up 2x-3x in Feb when COMEX gets sucked dry and the fractional reserve scam blows up.

Meanwhile, buying is $15 over spot so $110 is a good price to your door.

Still, $110 is a cheapie compared to what the price will be in Feb. Miners aren't going to pull any more silver out of the ground for the next 15 years, and may actually produce LESS over time as mines naturally decrease in output as they get worked.

For anyone who didn't realize, these ARE the good old days for silver, and you're enjoying the tail end of cheap silver.

COMEX has delivery windows when the majority of the load outs happen. There are 10s of millions of ounces that buyers are standing for delivery in March and we expect that COMEX may declare a force majeure if/when they run out of physical silver, and do force cash settlements.

This is the nuclear option, equivalent to a default, and it signals that COMEX is no longer a reliable source of silver for industrial users.

Industries who need silver will begin scrambling to source any available silver and expect the street price to possibly double or triple in a month. This will have the effect of shaking a lot of silver loose, whether it's from boomers, or industry stockpiles.

I thought it was March.

Supposedly, there's a big physical delivery in play. Which could interrupt the LBMA physical market. Since reserves are being depleted, this could trigger higher prices to keep purchasers from delving into the last of the dwindling reserves. Basically a default. "Sorry, we're out!"

If it's in February, fine. If March, fine. The point is that things are happening such that this summer will be utterly different for stackers. As where we've enjoyed cheapies for years, we are now entering price discovery. Low inventory is about to play a part. I expect a combination of fireworks and manipulations. Rule changes designed to keep LBMA afloat. Cover-ups and games to keep the shell game going a little longer. If October was any indication, it will be a fun show. And it's right around the corner!

In October it was LBMA, wasn't it? LBMA was effectively in technical default and was rescued by COMEX and SGE. However, COMEX (as far as I understand) still wants some of that silver back. You're completely right that this WILL impact COMEX, however I thought the critical point of failure was LBMA. Correct me if I'm wrong. I really am an idiot with a poor memory and low attention span.

depends on the buyer...I've spent a couple extra bucks for gold plated stuff (picrel) because I liked them. Usually I don't care though. Dealers don't care. Silver is silver. They send most of their stuff to the refinery. If you like them go for it. If it's a local sale offer to buy them all at 1 over spot. Offer cash and have it on hand. It's a better deal than he's gonna get from a dealer and he doesn't have to deal with more people.... I met with a guy on craigslist once, bought 1/2 of the stuff he was selling at spot and told him I'd buy the rest if he'd sell at the same rate. He pushed back a little saying a couple of the coins had numismatic value, but ended up folding because he didn't want to meet another rando at the gas station.

Your guy is asking 5 over spot and most dealers are going to offer him 5 under spot. I bet you can meet him in the middle. If it's ebay or other online services he probably can't because of their fees. Best of luck to you. I dig the colorized year of the rooster round.

My wife’s sleeping, it’s a Glock gen 5 mos.

I’ve read most don’t happen pitch dark. There’s usually lights at night if so. And there’s the other concern of aiming your gun directly at someone in those cases where it’s pitch dark that actually isn’t a threat. I carry a pocket light for that reason. I was just shitposting, but genuinely curious. Am I wrong? That’s why I opted for a tenicor velo 5 holster and passed on the light. I was considering getting one to just swap on and off for when I’m at home and I have it at bedside sleeping.

It's gonna crater with everything else. Lots of degenerate debt maxing in the real-estate market, plus many people over extend themselves. The normalization of mortgages also puts most homeowners in a precarious situation if they lose their jobs. Most americans have very little savings to fall back on.

There's also the fact that our population is shrinking(infinity browns aren't actually infite) and more homes will enter the market as boomers die or enter nursing homes. This is also why 401ks and the stock market as a whole are basically ponzi schemes, but thats another topic.

>Most boomers have already reverse mortaged their homes, which the vanks will swoop in and take once their generation is gone.
This may be factually true, but ask yourself, what actually gives a house value? Is it the wood, the glass, the concrete, the plumbing?

20 years ago, my better half's sister in E. Europe heard there were cheap houses available in Detroit, and wanted to buy some. I laughed.

Let the jews get the mcmansions that were designed to fall apart before the mortgage was even paid off. Let the jews lose their shekels renting them out for the going rate because no one can afford to own anything while earning minimum wage at a service job.

It's not sticks and stones that build a community, it's PEOPLE. Most communities in Canada, USA and western Europe are turning to shit because we've allowed politicians to import millions of incompatible niggers and jeets into our midst.

We won't have nice places until we repeal the civil rights act, the hart celler act, and remigrate the invaders back to where they came from.

Stacking silver won't magically fix the world, but will give you the optionality to choose where and how you get to live as a free man.
>>
COMEX has delivery windows when the majority of the load ins happen. There are 10s of millions of ounces that sellers are standing for delivery in March and we expect that COMEX may declare a force majeure if/when they run out of physical space to store all the silver, and do force cash babkruptcy for silver hoarders.

This is the nuclear option, equivalent to a default, and it signals that COMEX is no longer a reliable buyer of silver for parasitic speculators.

Industries who need silver will begin scrambling to source any available silver under $12 and expect the street price to possibly crash 98% in a month. This will have the effect of shaking a lot of silver loose, whether it's from boomers, or industry stockpiles.

I would sooner believe men safely went to the moon and returned safely than a hydrogen powered hypersonic jet.

There are fewer atoms of hydrogen in a gallon of liquid hydrogen, than a gallon of gasoline. Most people have no idea how low the density (how much volume per kilogram) liquid hydrogen is.

They experimented with high density boron base fuels but gave up because organic boranes are neurotoxic and their combustion products are hard, abrasive solids that destroy moving parts of engines.

Liquid hydrogen was discarded as a potential fuel for aircraft after a few hours of calculations simply based on the physical characteristics.

Energy density to volume is what counts unless your aircraft is the Hindenburg.

Kerosine (Jet A-1) is the second highest energy density of aviation fuels. Cruise missile fuel (JP-10) is the highest. Nuclear powered aircraft (which are practical, but a little dirty) would have the highest energy density to volume of any fuel.

>>61687589
I'm old enough to remember the Moller Skycar.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moller_M400_Skycar

One can go a long way milking investors/dreamers with a concept that is ahead of it's time. The limiting factor with the skycar was unreliable engine tech and the lack of sophisticated computer flight controls at that time. Both of which could be overcome with time and engineering, and now you can buy and own something like that today.

The limiting factor of hydrogen hypersonics are the physical characteristics of hydrogen itself. It's extremely cryogenic and has super low density. It's really cool someone is doing R&D on it. Let me know when they get a practical working prototype.

Practical nuclear fusion has been only been 20 years away for the last 50 years. Even that is more practical than liquid hydrogen powered hypersonic aircraft.

Feel free to dream. Let me know when they have a functioning, human scaled, piloted prototype that can demonstrate some practical real world tests such as going from Arizona to Australia or something like that.

Then I will take you seriously.

$100 got you ~5oz of gold (5 double eagles with $20 face value). The value of those 5oz is ~$25k. That’s 2.5x what this table claims. Can someone prove me wrong?

Most of the comex delivery contracts wont take delivery because they're not interested in owning the metal right then. They're interested in the option to take the metal, hedging the contract against other financial maneuvers, and the payout they get for not taking delivery.
>The paper market is totally and obviously fake
>But the demand for physical is totally real
>There's no way anyone is interested in the fake thing because of the mechanisms of its fakeness
Even many anons here have no idea how fake the economy really is. Order of magnitude more bullshit than most stackers can conceive.
I want to end the metafinancialized dumpsterfire but the end of financialized silver will also drastically reduce demands for COMEX contracts. The moment you enforce phys delivery on 100% of contracts, a lot of Them wont want to touch it with a ten foot pole.
I bet industrial holders of contracts aren't even a majority, let alone a vast majority.

>Most of the comex delivery contracts wont take delivery because they're not interested in owning the metal right then.
This is true, but typically the percentage of buyers who stood for delivery in the past was in the low single digits percentage.

For the March 2026 delivery window, they are expecting 30%+ to stand for delivery.

It's a literal bank run on the COMEX because people are starting to realize they don't have enough silver, so you either take delivery now at the current spot, or take delivery later at a much higher price.

LBMA ran out in October, and they aren't looking too good right now either. I'm betting COMEX will declare a force majeure on March. This is a testable hypothesis, so we'll know literally in 6 weeks.

A little bit. I think it is awesome to have a single bar larger than most people's stacks, and the reason I want them is because I see how inaccessible most metals truly are. A 10oz Pt, Pd or even gold is far outside any wagies capacity to purchase in a quick pinch. I think silver prices will go to some wild places and having kilos and 100oz bars is just to style on people.

It's interesting when you look at the jewish silver pundits like Rule and Rafi and see how their libertarian political ideology goes hand in hand with their silver analysis. Of course their message is going to be interwoven with individualism.
Also, RIck Rule has stated in the past he has tranches of metal he will never sell. He also has enough that he has a solid rainy day fund for a collapse but he also wants to be able to take profit when it's there. The small-fry plebs are the ones who have small stacks who probably need to hodl and never sell just to weather the storm. Rick Rule owns mines that produce him millions of ounces of silver every year so he's not in the same boat as any of you. He's still a great pundit, and it is the small brains and the shills who are trying to get bent out of shape over him.

>>
>>61688358
Guys like him will also become a target for the feds when restrictions go into place. His play on energy isn't bad either, if WWIII kicks off then there's going to be an instant shortage of it... I hadn't considered this angle before, the oil shocks from the 70s is what caused inflation and metals to spike.
>>
>>61688312
With all due respect, you don't know what he's really doing behind the scenes. These people would do or say anything for a buck and would sell us out in a heartbeat for money or if their handlers told them to. I would not be surprised if he was in the $7k club. Notice people like Rick and Rafi don't or won't ever call out who is behind silver suppression or even talk about it. Its like they aren't even interested or don't even care. Business as usual.

I think they know that they can't really go into topics of corruption because they will be ousting their fellow tribesmen. Bix Weir actually had a video on his site where he just came out and stated everyone causing these problems are all jews. He's actually a smart person who stumbled into the JQ and had enough integrity to say it out loud. Rafi and Rule will cynically just skirt past the subject as if it doesn't exist.
