to be honest bro this has a lot of room for improvement. first of all what is max value? are there other non maximum values i should know? the denominations are a total mess. everything should be parts of a whole unit, not 2s 6d 50c those aren't useful units. how many s to a d? the way you use "contents" is confusing. you should have three values there. first, uncirculated weight. second fineness or purity of silver. third, net silver weight. everything should be tabulated, don't just put text in a box. by moving all the labels to a header section you would save a ton of space in the boxes by not having to write DENOM and CONTENT every time, allowing you to make the font bigger and increase legibility.

>what is max value?
maximum silver content per dollar/pound face value. Denotes how much the currency in question was once worth.
>are there other non maximum values i should know?
the numbers are there, do the math. i.e. a dollar is worth 35g Ag when made of 20 war nickels, or 22.5g Ag when made of 10 mercury dimes, or 24.05g Ag as a single morgan dollar
>the denominations are a total mess. everything should be parts of a whole unit,
what you mean like in grams or do you mean like in parts of a dollar or a pound, because both are provided right there.
>not 2s 6d 50c those aren't useful units. how many s to a d?
Not my fault yanks can't do fractional currency. what the fuck kind of unit do you want if not silver content, silver purity, & denominational value?
>you should have three values there. first, uncirculated weight.
if you need it content and purity are provided so either do the math or look it up. Also coins change weights throughout the years, so adding total weights would need a seperate column decreasing readability
>second fineness or purity of silver.
literally right there
>third, net silver weight
also literally right there

Sizing is admitedly an issue, but because silver content changes depending on mint date tabulation would lead to needing seperate entries when the same coin changes value i.e 4 seperate entries just for the canadian quarter. 2nd edition will most likely move coin names above the example images to increase fontsize.

12 Pence (d) to a Shilling (s), 20 Shillings to a Pound (£) by the way. You better learn to count with a fractional currency system, 'cause you're in one.

realistically at certain points paper may go farther buying other things - beans, bullets, etc - that are either lagging in price increases or being dumped by those in a pinch. Chose to top off on a couple of calibers and get a few more cases of primers/jugs of powder instead of buying another ~14 oz the other day.
It all comes down to what you need and your evaluation of when you think you may not be able to buy it. My ammo stack is up nearly as much as my metals stack, overall.

CZ is pretty good. I don't like the thin slide, though. Makes it slightly harder to rack with slippery hands or gloves. It's easily one of the most handsome pistols ever made, so I would never tell someone not to get one.

An alternate? Depends on your priorities. Revolvers are great only because they're reliable and simple. Not as many shots, though that doesn't matter in 99% of defensive situations. Three shots, three feet, three seconds. And that's when the trigger is pulled. According to the FBI, 90% of altercations involving a firearm resulted in zero shots being fired. Even a single speed loader is overkill for almost all situations.

If you're all about gubmint tyranny, I'd say a rifle is infinitely better. Bolt action is the most reliable and easy to clean. Terrible for follow-up shots. Any AR or AK would be fine for just simple and easy to service.

Personally, I want a lever action. They're just fun.

I say get what makes you happy.

Do yourself a favor if in the US and take advantage of very low inflation adjusted ammo prices... get a case or two of fmj for ~ 22 cents a round shipped. When shit gets stupid that can shoot up to 60-100 cents per round.

Peripherally related to silver production, but did anyone else notice Larry RatFink (who is now co-chair of the WEF) talking about how wind and solar are useless for AI?

Has anyone noticed that Tesla bought a mining company that owns silver mines. I've heard Microsoft did something similar. Samsung made a deal to buy the output from a silver producer.

Has anyone heard about any protests by Extinction Rebellion lately? No more throwing soup on paintings, or gluing themselves to roads, etc? Has the billionaire bitch widow of Steve Jobs has stopped funding the road glueing NGO?

Looks like the global warming crisis is over. They need all the energy we can produce to implement their totalitarian control grid, so nuclear is now good. Wind and solar are now bad, which is just in time because silver prices are now making solar even more uneconomic than it was back when silver was $30/oz.

Terminator/skynet is a great metaphor to illustrate their intentions with AI. Artificial Intelligence itself is agnostic. Like firearms, it can be used for good or evil, but the tech is itself is inherently amoral, and depends on the morality of whomever is in control of it.

In China, everyone needs a smartphone in order to do any transactions, so they know the physical location of nearly everyone in the city at all times. If someone has a very low social credit score, other citizens in their immediate vicinity are alerted on their smartphones to beware, and not interact.

America has an old school version of the warning system for people of extremely low social scores because you can often tell just by their skin color.

Hello /biz/!

Today we have a real chance to change the world. We all believe different things, some are liberals, some are conservatives, some are anarchists, some are fascists, some are communists, but now is the time for all of us to come together!

By converting your dollars to silver and gold, we can END the central bank and inflation! No matter who you are, it is time for us to come together to END THE FED!

I am calling on all of /biz/, and all of 4chan and even reddit and tumblr to buy precious metals! Black or white, Indian or British, Russian or Ukrainian, and Jewish or Palestinian, it doesn't matter! now is the time

Rolling over protesters with tanks and/or horses is a signifier of a corrupt government, and the bureaucrats/politicians responsible should be brought to justice.

If people want to peacefully protest in a public space without blocking essential emergency services, they should be free to do so, regardless of their political affiliation. Even people I may personally disagree with.

Puts and calls are only bets on future price movement. How much direct impact to they have on the price? I understand that there is some hedging from the party that sells the puts/calls.

Didn't they historically punch the center out of a bunch of coins to make two coins? Had a shortage of coinage or something like that, makes sense that the idea of a bottle opening coin would come from there.

This is a different game, they need to cause generational trauma that will scare people into their next FIAT system and scar them for life on metals just like they did to the boomers. For that to happen they have to let the metals run to valuations never seen before.

What's happening now is fully inline with expectations if the stock market has entered its crash phase, every time it peaks percious metals follow afterwards with a delay. Institutions weren't positioned yet back in the fall and I did say that they were repeating a pattern of selling 1% per day and then buying into gold and it could be that they are finally positioned for the dump.

According to CNN, we would be among the worst of the worst white people.

I agree that the meat and potatoes /pmg/ /setf/ anons (pre silver rush days) are a pretty based group as a whole who were able to grasp macroeconomic trends long before the "average" person ever will.

That's one indicator of intelligence.

People like Grant Williams, Mike Malone and many other Boomers/GenX are in the same boat.

I was buying gold in the 1999/2000 time period. My girlfriend at the time had several thousand dollars and I helped her turn it into a stack that might be worth $250k today if she still has it.

Nothing can stop what is coming.

The USA has a $38 trillion debt, $2.5 trillion annual deficit, an unfunded liability with a net present value of between $100 and $200 TRILLION for boomer entitlements, and a Republican party that is not interested in cutting funding to illegal aliens, or preventing illegal aliens from voting in Federal elections.

The USA has a million serious problems, and the tech billionaires are not even in the top ten.

Israel, on the other hand...

>If the FED has to print money for a Comex bailout, that means they're cash settling paper contracts of Silver
Yes. That is exactly what they will do, possibly as soon as March 2026.

This will effectively destroy the COMEX because what good is a market if they have no wares? Since there is no drop in replacement market, (LBMA will go down with COMEX) there will be a mad scramble as smaller industrial users panic and start scrounging.

Since there will be no futures market, expect severe supply disruptions because without a futures market, there can be no hedging. China cut off her nose to spite her face by restricting exports, so China cannot be an international price setting market.

That leaves Dubai as the next likely worldwide clearing house, who will probably set up regional vaults for physical redeption. This will take some time, so during the ensuing chaos, expect silver to possibly hit $300/oz or more.

This may happen over the next few months.

It's not stupid unless you intend to eventually extract the physical gold from them. They retain the original premium when you sell them for goods and services, unlike gold coins.

Obviously from an investment point of view Goldbacks are not as profitable as silver, but they are still profitable due to gold appreciation.
