>Silver milk spots are milky-white, hazy blemishes that appear on silver coins and bars, caused by residual contaminants (such as cleaning agents or borax) left on the metal blanks during the minting process. These residues react with the silver over time, often months or years later, creating spots that do not affect the coin's intrinsic value, though they can affect numismatic, or collector, value.

Eh. Plat is so expensive and moves so little that it just fits the same hedge category as gold, but without the monetary history to back it up, so worse. Either "gamble" on silver gains or hedge with gold. And yes, I do own plat because well why wouldn't you have at least one ounce for funsies.

I figure that because plat only comes from like two countries (one of which is Russia and the other is a failed state called South Africa), any kind of geopolitical risk is going to jack the price up rapidly. Its already had a silver level of price appreciation, and the fact that its not a formal monetary metal doesn't seem like a big deal, especially since its used in jewelry and industrial applications.

The fact that its so new relative to gold and silver means that its slept on, and fiat instability will make people look at it more, but maybe I'm coping idk.

It depends on what you use to measure inflation with. If you use CPI headline inflation, its around ~$170. If you used M2 inflation (which is more close in line with real inflation) the price would need to hit ~$700.

Another method would be to look at how most people measure inflation, in terms of gold. In silver/gold ratio terms, it still has to go a bit over 3x from here ($108).

Since day one of the 2nd admin they have been working relentlessly on setting up the regulatory framework for BTC to become the reserve asset of the US. On top of accumulating like crazy (via theft, since even them know it would be considered incredibly bad optic to use taxpayers' money to purchase a fucking dinocoin).
Meanwhile : zero gold purchase, abandon of the Fort Knox audit, Bloumpf refusing to comment on how went his visit to the Knox reserves, etc..

$1 trillion in debt payments alone this year and nobody will raise taxes or cut benefits to some fucking boomer sitting on a pile of cash and a $4 million ranch style he bought for a handjob and some weed back in 1965. Yeah, I'm still buying.
>>61710822
I bought at 20 and I'll buy at 120 but it fucking hurts man.

>I don’t get it how do you guys expect to he rich if all PMs do is retain their original purchasing power.
that's not all they do. hth

I own 1 share of SILJ. I will start DCAing end of month and whatever extra GoyBucks I get, goes into metals.
>>
So I rack up 8000 in credit card debt and just never answer any phone calls, right? I should have done this when my name wasn't on a home purchase and land loan.

That is the ETF for silver miners, it's just another opportunity to make money off silver. I doubled my position on Friday.

As long as you OWN the PHYSICAL METAL, you will succeed.
>>
>>61710819
What allows it to do this when just about any stock wouldn't be able to keep up the momentum? I mean are technical indicators like RSI historically considered useless when it comes to metals or something? You figure there would be some serious level of selling off this month from people taking profits at least, unless that just relates to how much retail demand there is that boomers taking profits don't even register.
>>
>>61710861
Do not do ETFs, they are baskets of stocks ultimately managed by blackrock-types. If you are going to dabble in stonks, which can be lucrative if you're in the miners, you need to own the stonks yourself. Don't own a basket of middling performers, you need to have the best. And all of that is secondary to owning physical.
>>61710867
Lost it all in a very tragic boating accident. Nothing to take, unfortunate for the AIPAC government. K.E.K.

Is there something inferior about silj and or you just think there’s better plays?

I have no clue. Probably not a lot

99% of people are retards and never pick the best stocks. Buying ETFs is the best decision honestly

I like these 3, I'll add an Australian mine tomorrow as well, but these ones have new expansions and cash.
I don't want anything with declining output or loans

Talk me into debtmaxxing; how like am I to get sued?
>>
>>61710905
True that most are retards, but stonks have counter-party risk. So if you're gonna do them... put in the work, and get the best, and don't support blackcock.
>>
>>61710892
What are the top three?
I forgot i also own sbsw, btg,
>>

Which is why it's probably not worth selling, especially not until I get a different 9mm to replace it. Just don't carry it

It's really not worth the time investment. Fund managers that have it as their job almost always do worse than just an S&P 500 ETF

There's this meme diving spot over here where Nazis apparently lost their gold and counterfeit money in a series of tragic boating accidents.

They only found the fiat so far.
This is vacation advice, come to Austria.

A Crown is 1/4 of a Pound, so a Gold Crown would be 1/4 the size of a Sovereign.

>>
>>61710680
>>61710941
depends. original english crowns (crown of the double rose) have about 3.4g pure gold but they're way more valuable as collectors pieces, the modern crowns the UK makes as collectors items are 28g .999 gold
>>
>>61710973
I only care about weight
>>
>>61710977
than get modern ones if you can get them close to spot or get guineas or sovereigns instead.
Crowns were usually silver coins anyway, ~5/6oz ASW
>>
I kinda don't like this. It's like something whispering to you that you did a good job with buying that premium insurance policy, because it's going to pay off real soon.

silvergoldbullniggers better send me my silver soon. I would order more right now if I had faith it will arrive

Yes, same company makes both. Sprott. If you have enough (I think it's some six figure amount) you can even redeem it from them for physical whenever you want. They have it stored in a vault. No joke
