Big tech posts earning this week and people are fleeing the dollar anon. Sector rotations incoming means shitty crabby moves it they post good earnings or absolutely cratering if they miss.
If META misses then it's going back to 500 before February

I'm sorry, I don't even know what the hell that is.

>means shitty crabby moves it they post good earnings
Maybe for Microshit and Google, but not for WDC and SNDK, I deem. Nor for Micron. Of course, we'll all just have to wait and see. Either way, latter half of the week is going to be.... eventful.

Why didn't YOU buy silver?
>>
Lets try this again.
Or shill me some silver.

Got a not quite apples to apples comparison and need outside thoughts.
For the Roth ira.

JEPI
(Diverse holdings, all good stuff, coved calls make extra money, monthly div.)

SCHX
(feels like VOO, but with out the ridiculous price tag, which means more room to grow? Much lower div. than VOO, to the point its not even worth factoring in I guess.)

VPMCX
(A mutual fund, so not the same, but ETFs are like 'short term MFs', right?
Its been around since 1984, with an average annual return of 22%, with a 15.55% div. yield)

Why does VPMCX seem like the obvious winner for 30yrs of 'forget about it'.
What am I missing?

AG couldn't beat earnings when silver was at 45 and analysts are already predicting a 2.7x on the next earnings when silver hasn't 2.7xed since sept 30.
Perchance I would be remissn't to constabulate that it is PRICED IN
>>

Basically means big money is moving out of mag 7. Micron and sndk are trend meme plays
. I'm not worried about sub 1 trillion market cap stocks. I'm worried about my bluechip leaps being absolutely fucking obliterated.
People don't just flee into PMs like this unless they think inflation is gonna suck bad or a nasty recession is going to hit. I'm inclined to think euro markets are the way to go but germany is basically relying on RHM to keep its index alive right now.

earnings is revenue - cost
ag has a cost per silver oz of about $20/oz which means their earnings per oz was of about $25/oz at the beginning of q4 and an earnings per oz of about %56/oz at the end of q4. this is a 2.14 times earnings

I don't agree with that either. Remember who owns and operates all these huge data centers and who is booked for years and years to come, and who is using AI to automate things so that Larry Ellison can cheerfully tell us it costs the same for them to run 100 datacenters as it does 10. They are taking on debt to assure their global dominance for the foreseeable future.

>>
>>61710773
Damn, congratulations
>>
>>61710694
furthermore during q3 they had a pe ratio of 175, if they were to beat earnings their price would have to be 47 dollars to maintain the pe ratio
>>
>>61710783
Thank you. I've only been riding the memory-drought crazy train since November. I bought one part MU and half that each SNDK and WDC, and they're all up better than 50%. That's a nice cushion. Since then I've bought a little more MU and I'm grabbing some MUU tomorrow morning even though leveraged anything normally makes me break out in hives. I still say Micron is the best value currently on the market, and I can confidently advise anon to jump on board as long as the PEG is below .5.

Is USAR going to have an INTC type run or is it going to pop and I´ll buy the picotop at open? Just wondering because Intel was still a shit company after the US stake, but that completely changed the narrative for whatever reason. Same thing happened with LAC but that rally wasn´t sustained.

I don't understand how the silver schizos can look at a chart like this and feel even more bullish in their strategy. If your intention is to never sell silver and all the historic tops have been extremely short time windows where you could have sold for massive gains, you'll be left bagholding regardless how high it will go in the short term because you'll be holding right through whatever the generational top is going to be all the way back down to rock bottom for the next 20-50 years.

If a company has such a low P/E ratio, that means the market believes this company has practically no growth potential whatsoever to sustain such high dividend payouts. So what's likely going to happen is your initial investment will erode in value year over year by at least 7.5%, but likely by a lot more than that.

I have worked a job i love, but was not qualified for, for minimum wage. I was very sick and not expected to make it to 40. But then I got better, which was not expected by anyone and now i suddenly have a full lifespan. fuck, was not prepared for that. Broke up with the woman of my dreams because i wouldn't have been able to give her a future.

now I am getting the qualifications, and in ayear or so will go from 40k a year to 80k, rising to over 120k a year as i build seniority. I am already interviewing for a 55k a year not full time job with just partial qualifications.

I want kids, i want to be able to travel, i want a better life than i have had. I want to be able to take the lower paid but more interesting postings. I want to be financially independent.

Also, I'm investing in the u100, this is the beginning.

even if it doesn't have any growth potential, what does it matter if it just keeps churning out a consistent little profit every year? I don't understand how the price can go down any further if it keeps being profitable? Its all time chart looks like a zigzag and its currently at the bottom of a zigzag because it lost some sales last quarter to small privately run rivals (but still reported a reasonable profit regardless) but this is likely just cyclical as its large market share means its not going anywhere.

Unironically after seeing what happened with Gold/Silver, this is unironically a pivotal moment in what the Fed does. Knowing Jerome Powell's behavior, he is going to completely just maintain flat rates and at best say "maybe no cut this year at all."

I'm getting increasingly paranoid that I need to at least go 25% in on gold/silver now. It might be up a lot but if my paranoia is right and the US dollar hyperinflates, then even these prices are a good deal cause who cares about a 10x when the difference is no longer about trading it in for US dollars. I'm scared bro's if I buy gold/silver and I'm right, hooray! But if I'm wrong and it collapses, well there goes my money.

Yeah stop day trading and watch all Berkshire annual meetings ever and read all the material from authors they mention and recommend there.
Please explain to me your reasoning for falling for the day trading meme I'm trying to understand.
>>
>>61712380
>Are these people incapable of basic reasoning and/or self reflection?
Yes. They are not above-average smart. They do not understand that trading isn't something that can be studied in the sense that they mean (although I am not a day trader myself). Like, intra-day variance is too big for any strategy to be extremely consistent. But they don't know that, so they cling to models like much of technical analysis (bogus indicators like Fibonacci retracements etc.) because they seem to offer a pre-researched, pre-validated road, and they then only have to pick among that buffet of strats and execute correctly.

These failed traders don't have the meta-reflection capabilities that they are not approaching this correctly -- if they think they are doing things correctly, they will believe the trading strategy they have is the incorrect one instead of the entire approach above that.

>>61712364
Well I don't think civilization will collapse but I wonder if it's safe to hold onto shares of a company that by itself doesn't even hold silver, just some kind of IOU's from what I gather.
In 5 years time would you rather have 40oz of real silver that might be hard to sell because it requires finding an honest buyer who won't screw you over, or would you rather have shares in some company that hopefully won't shit the bed and become worthless because they cannot find any actual silver to buy?
I just find it hard to decide for myself.

Sorry didn't mean to scare you.

Yeah I already did that too, I bought some Newmont and Hecla last week.
Still nothing seems to grow in value quite so fast as the real deal does. Plus the stores here are now buying at 110% spot because of the huge demand.

Yeah bro, you'll be able to exchange it for a loaf of bread, a bottle of water and a can of spaghettios
Except probably not because those things will have actual value while useless shiny rocks will not

Silver and gold has been used as currency for thousands of years. It will take time in a SHTF scenario for this to happen, in the immediate aftermath bartering will mostly consist of canned meat and stuff. Any serious stacker will also be a prepper, it's not rocket science.
>>
>>61712405
You don't have to make it back the same way you lost it. Cut your losses.
The future is looking brighter than ever before and volatility just means you can buy cheap, you can't predict the downturn so don't sell. Read security analysis by Ben Graham and read the nomad partnership letters after. You are wasting your time as you are wasting your money.

Typical bioscam: 1 drug, everything hinges on a single study, baggies on stocktwits all 'trusting le ceo' which they refer to by name, massive price swings etc.
And yet its over 70% institutionally held, blackrock alone holds like 7%.
Thoughts?

I stay out on days I know something will fall or rise. Then I seethe all day because I was right but scared.
So I study all night and next day I am sure I am right again but I get it exactly wrong when pressing the buy/sell button.
This is why it is dangerous. Because I can predict right 90% of the time but trade wrong.

Guys seriously is USAR trust worthy for longer term holding or should I bounce when I'm up a good amount?
Govt warrents are at $17, that means they can essentially dump the entire stock if they decide to sell right?
>>
>>61712583
Log chart captures the moves more realistically compared to normal
Log rather displays % moves and in normal 1% at 100 is 1 and 1% at 10 is 0.1 thats why the chart looks so stretched and busted when you look at bottoms and fast rising/declining moves

If you feel the need to do something active then get into residential real estate. Then you'll be forced to think correctly about valuation without much downside as long as you're not a dick to the tenant. Remember the tenant (customer) is king.
