I've also priced selling some stuff at the local "we buy gold" place. He says he'll give me 4 dollars under spot for any 999 fine but 90% he's only offer 80% of spot. He told me it's because he's having to wait several months to get paid from his refinery. He also sells 90% under spot but not as much as the antique store.
