Here lads I was thinking. When FIAT finally shits the bed and and there's a return to fundamentals I was thinking that I should learn the ways of blacksmithing so I can get into minting and not only that but build a safe. Not just to store my own metals but I'll rent space in the safe to others and then offer them a paper receipt of their metals value. Then I can link up with other blacksmiths and franchise them into this service so that they can make money renting space in the safe but also we can accept each others paper receipts so that weary travellers don't have to carry their PMs and risk getting looted. They can just bring one of my receipts to their nearest blacksmith and claim their PM from him, for a small fee of course.

wat think?

Bruh, my business will be to learn blacksmithing and get into minting coin and storing PMs in a specially built safe and rent to others so that they can store their PMs. Then I'm going start a network of blacksmiths who will receive receipts for PMs from each other so that weary travellers can collect from any one of us, for a small fee of course.

Do try to keep up.

I'm glad to see Michael Oliver finally be vindicated. I always thought he sounded very knowledgable in studying markets but never thought it made any sense trying to look for technical indicators in a well known manipulated sector such as PMs. I could see him being correct here: $300-500 would be a good starting point to price-out retail investors.
>>

Only a few months but I've always been a supporter of ye.

Troof be told but I'm not really doing it for myself. My da is a boomer and he's a few quid and I'm trying to protect it for him. To be honest it's not really about the metals, although it is fun, because we've a really weird relationship. He was always the type of person who'd listen to people in the pub before he'd listen to his family. He's the quintessential boomer and would rather die than deal with his son being both more intelligent than him and saving his ass.

He's actually listening to me. Right in the feelz.

Do you guys think that the value of silver during this next period will go up due to scarcity? I live in Ireland and I doubt that many people stack here. I wonder if that will make it more or less valued.

>It only costs like 700 dollars to buy a year worth of food (rice, beans, pasta, etc).
Everyone should have a bag of rice and a bag of dried beans/corn. Store it in 5 gallon plastic buckets and forget about it. Think of it as a cheap fire extinguisher that you never want to use, but is there in case of emergency. You may never eat it, but it may save your friends/neighbor's lives. In addition to the above, we personally went to local farmers and bought UNDESSICATED wheat, (wheat that has NOT been sprayed with roundup) and store it in the (cool dry) cellar in NEW steel garbage cans, inside heavy duty food grade polyethylene bags, and I threw in a hand warmer (oxygen absorber) and some anhydrous magnesium sulfate, (epsom salts heated to 350F for a couple hours) just for good measure. For a under $200, (bushel = 60lbs and spot is under $7.00) you can have 600lbs of wheat which has an indefinite shelf life, and 1lb of boiled wheat per person/day.

Yes, we have a small amount of 25+ year long term food. What we REALLY do, is find canned food that we actually like to regularly eat, like pork & beans, stag chilli, sardines, canned herring. ramen, kraft dinner, pasta, tomato sauce, spam etc, and we buy enough to have a years worth, and then ROTATE.

Canned food lasts 12-18 months, according to Mormons, and my personal experience. By stockpiling medium shelflife foods that you eat regularly, there is no transition, no sudden dietary changes, no shock, no whining from the complainy types.

It's a very sustainable way to have ONE YEARS worth of food at no cost. In fact, you're saving money on food because you're front loading the pre inflated food prices of tomorrow, by buying today.

In 3 months, you can buy 3 months worth to keep your one year supply topped up. Obviously this strategy works best if you have some resources and some storage space. A single male living hand to mouth in a tiny shared apartment isn't the best candidate for this strategy.

Sprott holds him in high regard so I give him respect for that. All of the silver guys were great to listen to back in 2021 etc but it definitely got stale while we were all crabbing to death from $28 down to $20 and back up to $30 and beyond. In hindsight, they were all correct. It actually was the physical supply of silver that broke the dam. The dislocation between paper and physical price is expanding like they said, but most interesting is the East vs West dynamic which looks to me like a very very serious attack against the West's financial system. Once we got to that low, critical level the capital controls hit at the absolute worst time and they don't have the capital to close the arbitrage on their own.

It's just not a good time to sell, because every midwit asshole with a tube of eagles is trying to make "big bucks". The triple digit mark for silver is extremely recent, and on top of that it's fluctuating like crazy, going between 104-115 a day. While I agree it feels scummy as the seller to get offered below spot, the dealers are also freaking out that product they profit from selling in bulk quantity just got 40% more expensive in two weeks. If someone HAS to sell, I'd say wait a month or so, so that dealers and buyers both can used to the $100 range. Then dealers will pay closer to or at spot to keep a steady flow of product coming in.

If hookers were legal hoeflation would have an end to it immediately. I would never buy a hooker but the losers of society who jump through hoops and act like clowns for a crumb of pussy would immediately stop knowing they could skip the bullshit and buy a hooker instead.
Women would have to try harder too, meaning 82% of them wouldn't be overweight as they currently are.
Lack of hookers = sky-high hoeflation

It's clear that anybody who would pay for sex is not somebody who has had much if any time with women. It's supremely overrated in this society where sex is in your face all the time. Do yourself a favor, don't masturbate for a month and try to ignore your cravings to do so, you will learn to feel the same disgust when you imagine yourself or somebody else stooping so low as to pay a woman for sex.

Spend your money on whatever you like, it's not mine, but if you blow any on whores you are pathetic. Trade your silver for goods or actual value or forever live a failed coomer.

I agree with the sentiment, but this argument doesn't hold water because Japanese and Germans are bigger simps than Americans even, and prostitution is legal there. Given women free choice to earn a living and sleep around seems to be the root cause, not a ban on prostitution.

Well, considering our stock trade will be blacksmithing then I was thinking about changing the family name to Smith. I might even get a family crest made up. Since we're a family of blacksmiths then I figure I'll go red so as not to be too uncreative, like a big red shield that depicts the family occupation.

Jews attacked women at the highest logical level, high status female role models. Women are herd animals and only a very few outliers will think for themselves. Even fewer will think for themselves and come to the right conclusions.

Every organ of authority has been subverted to destroy traditional female role models. Schools, television, movies, news, churches, the legal system, etc.

Females are the lynchpin of society, and by subverting them, subverting their politics, jews have been able to completely undermine western civilization.

The solution unironically, is to blow it all up, sooner rather than later. Mass migration, feminism, jewish power all cannot survive without the Federal Reserve moneyprinter and a productive white male working class to give that worthless fiat some limited value.

Without productive white men being free to work and keep the efforts of their labor, women get hungry, and we all know what a hungry woman will do for a meal, and she will happily be a good wife and mother to the children of a man who can ensure she is never cold and hungry ever again.

There is no real solution other than by going through a period of intense suffering.

The only other alternative is that western women will get to enjoy the fruits of the future Indianification/Muslimization of the west. It's happening right now in Brampton Ontario. All the worst aspects of Indian culture have been imported, including the treatement of women, including "white" women who find themselves with indian men who have resources.

gl anon, here's a few tips from some EE autist who hand soldered a couple dozen SOD-323 one time (and never again).

- depending on the pad size and pin size, crank up the heat: more thermal mass, more energy you'll have to put in
- solder in the two pins diagonal to each other first with DIPs
- through hole resistors/axial components go into the board in the same direction, i.e. tolerance gold/silver stripes line up. They'd hate to see it if you fumble that one.
- use flux if you need to, especially important for SMD
- don't overdo it with the solder, little goes a long way, but not too little also

also don't huff the fumes of course, might smell nice but I've heard seen how fucked up you can get over time from one old teacher I had.

Back to PMs: Who's stacking silver solder, or leaded if you prefer?

I don't care much about the number grade, but I do like that the coin will be safe for a long time in a nice container that's easy to see. I also like the professional and fair opinion that it wasn't cleaned by some fucktard, or is a counterfeit.

Remember that Boomers are just Saturn from mythos, but with a crippling television addiction. "left wing" and "right wing" boomer is a myth, they're all the same and will blow their unearned money on a useless boat or a useless RV not matter what they sign in a ballot. The only real difference is "how much TV did they watch", and "did they prefer alternate media or personal experience over Talk shows, Fox, CNN, etc". I can really appreciate that my Mom has been poor her entire life, but always saved the Morgan dollar kept in her family and passed it down to me.

Silver has more upside in the near term according to Michael Oliver. Gold will be hitting $8k and silver will be hitting $300+.

That ratio works out to under 30:1.

Gold and silver are both good, but silver, and silver and gold miners have a little more upside in the near term.

Nothing beats physical PMs over the long term.

Both gold and silver are money. Gold is less volatile, and silver makes more gains, Keeping in silver during volatile times and swapping to gold for less volatile times makes sense. It's a consistent logic, I don't know why you pretend to not be able to understand.

>GSR goes higher: Switch from gold to silver because silver is undervalued
until
>GSR goes lower: Switch from silver to gold because gold is undervalued

Theres people who do this and manage to grow their portfolio entirely by this though it seems to be a bit of a hassle to find best rates and traders.
>>

Silver has more upside because it is at an all time high demand by the biggest most profitable industry on planet earth in semiconductors. There's zero linkage to gold outside them being a commodity

But a serious concern is how much do you lose during this transfer? Who is going to just swap all of your Ag for Au without taking a massive percentage of it?

Has anyone tried this? Did it cost them 15%, 25%?

I was considering trading in my sterling for constitutional for the purpose of space consolidation, but I think it would end up costing me a lot of Oz

Anyone still on the fence about this, it checks out:
True tough metal layers in high end silicon is measured in Angstrom and usually copper or some other metal. But you are right on the money when it comes to System-on-a-Chips and really high performance processing units, plus also rad-hard ICs for which there will be enough demand in the future due to shooting shit into space.
All these require excellent thermals, so the packaging and substrate will have to contain a good amount of silver.

>In 2025, global silver demand reached an estimated 1.24 billion ounces, while total supply — including mine production and recycling — only amounted to about 1.01 billion ounces
