The harder they struggle, the more magnificent their defeat. For them to be able to tamp 35% or whatever it has been is proof that silver is going to shoot up even harder. They kept tamping at $40, then once $40 was broken, it ripped high. This is the same thing. Unfortunately, the downside means that the fight isn't over yet, but the silver lining is that they're becoming more desperate. In other words, this is one big meaningless event to everyone, but it is where you ascribe that meaninglessness to that means everything.

>They are fully in control of the price of silver. Eventually it will crumble and the price will explode. It could be a year, it could be in 10.
They are fully in control of the price of PAPER silver.

The laws of physics and the laws of economics dictate the price of PHYSICAL silver. Diocletian issued an edict specifying the maximum prices for various goods and services, with a penalty of death for violation.

The effect of the edict was to destroy production and result in shortages. Exactly what we have seen in the silver market. It won't be 10 years when COMEX is likely to run out of silver next month. If there were still 5 billion ounces in the US Strategic Stockpile, then we could talk about a few more years.

>>
>>61753094
I'm going back and forth. On one hand the GSR is lower than it was, but it is higher than it has traditionally been. Of course gold is the final position, but silver is still primed to out perform. However dealer premiums are wild, though I think I can skirt a lot of that since mine lives in an IRA with SD Bullion. If silver keeps going up faster than gold I'll kick myself...as I've been doing since 2024 when I first invested. Of course it's all funny money because, while I can take physical possession, the IRS will kill my dog if I don't pay. Maybe Trump will abuse his power in my favor and make first time home buying with retirement accounts a nontaxable event.
>>
>>61753099
>But I mainly think banks took profits
The only profits they took were from stoploss hunting. The banks took a net loss but likely cleared most of their shorts at a much less unfavorable price. The banks likely had over $300 BILLION in short exposure they needed to cover, and that was at $80/oz. At $200/oz silver they would have needed perhaps a trillion Federal Reserve bail outs.

I'm still sticking with my assertion that $200 silver in Feb is still a likely possibility.

If the price can drop $44 in a day, it can go up $44 in a day.
>>
>>61753137
Pretty much. Long term, it's still fine, but if your average cost is above 40, or have any leverage still at all, you should probably be making exit plans.

Huh? This is literally what people on this thread had said for years would happen
>Paper silver disconnects from physical
>Vaults start running out
>Volatility rises
>Leveraged traders get liquidated
Anyone buying paper silver just got raped HARD and lost everything, like literally everyone here said. Extremely bullish for physical, which now has no "high" price tag to scare away people buying it.
Industries as we speak are asking if this is the floor just like everyone in this thread so they can lock in contracts for literal tons of silver at a good price. This ensures increased physical demand.

You're not wrong, but we're talking about a market dislocation when they switch from rigged COMEX/LBMA to a pure physical delivery market. In other words, it will gap up.

It won't be China because they have export controls, so my guess is the market switches to Dubai with a distributed vaulting network with vaults at key nodes like NY, Switzerland, Singapore, etc.

Instead of the massive paper futures market, the new scam will be "tokenized" silver.

Someone or more is/are massively underwater wrt to being short PMs. It seems like there is currently a rescue attempt to allow them to close out month end without having to go to the Fed repo window today or worse.

This has nothing to do with selling physical metal. It is happening with gold, silver, platinum and palladium simultaneously. That alone is highly suspicious.

Moving it to Dubai is taking further steps toward the belt and road initiative and making Israel the financial and technological control centre of trade for the world and specifically a bottle neck for the west.
Combined with the tokenization aspect which ties into the digital ID CBDC agenda, which will also be centrally controlled by Israel.

I would agree at first and tell him to fuck off but he gave you a discount and you already cucked out, so you have to follow through now. There was really nothing he could do and ebay auctions are cancelled all the time, and also ebay guys if spot rises 25% might not ship your order out either, but you agreed and apologized and both of you cucked.

He didn't give you that 200 because he felt bad though but because you could essentially not pay and he'd have to chase you in a 10,000 dollar lawsuit that would take months with no guarantees of anything.

For me, I'll be happy if prices can stay low for the next six months, I have a lot of cash coming so I can get a few more kgs and maybe another ounce of gold.

>They will need a big deflation first to justify the printing.
They cannot afford any deflation when they have $37 trillion in debt and $2.5+ trillion in annual deficits. Deflation will never be allowed.

It will be negative real interest rates, yield curve control on government debt, and financial repression via CPI fraud to systematically loot the boomers of their remaining wealth. Nothing stops this train.

At some point, the inflation rate will go vertical and this will likely coincide with geopolitical crisis, possibly war. Despite all this, the future is very bright for heartland USA, aside from the major cities.

Dear Tamp,
I’m writing this with charts spread all over my kitchen table,
Silver candles bleeding red, man, the timing’s kinda fatal.
I bought the dip, then you spoke and the floor just gave way,
Every time you clear your throat, spot price runs away.

I watch the ticker at night, refreshing like a ritual,
My stack’s physical but the pain feels digital.
You don’t know me, but I know your interviews by heart,
Every “temporary pullback” tears my patience apart.

I told my girl it was a hedge, said “long term, it’s fine,”
Now she’s asking why the ounces worth less than last time.
I ain’t mad, I just wish you’d ease up when you talk,
‘Cause every word you drop feels like another short walk.

I’m still holding, Tamp, I just needed you to know,
When you push that price lower, man, it hits us below.
Write me back—or at least pause before you explain,
Sincerely,
Your biggest fan stuck riding this train.

When some one dismisses TA I know they're retarded. It's not astrology, it's patterns of psycology that people recognized over centuries and made schools to teach and now since enough people in the market know about it, they base their trading decisions on TA and end up making the TA become real through collective action.

It's like how traffic is ordered chaos, it becomes orderly because everyone was taught and follows the same rules, you start inviting some indians into traffic and then we'll talk about chaos and astrology.

There was a great breakdown by someone smarter than me on another post but long story short Warsh’s policy opinions (if approved) would restructure the relationship between the Fed/banks, that would keep fewer printed $’s left unused by them. Gold becomes less necessary when fewer $’s are wasted
Hence Gold is going back to its natural $2000 and silver is going back to its natural $20

I can almost understand that midwit-level understanding on a single stock ticker. I disagree. I believe silver has been deliberately price suppressed for years and this slam down was deliberately slammed down in order to save the bacon of some too big to fail banks that were massively underwater in silver shorts, and this price crash reduces the need for Fed Reserve intervention, while at the same time screwing over the paper speculators.

If Trump bombs Iran this weekend, the silver price gain next week will be epic.

My card arrives tomorrow. I'm over 1000 oz but want to continue stacking amid serious price swings as we've seen lately. The card removes the service fee, storage fees are like 20$ for every 5000$, you can redeem in a variety of options, and I can buy from my phone when I'm waging and feeling trapped in my cage.

Only downside is a delay on withdrawing funds or redeeming metals but it's a money laundering prevention. Some may complain about APMEX prices but it's a service I am happy to use.

9/10 just want more redemption options.

It was suppressed for years by JPM et al, so a sudden rise doesn't necessarily have anything to do with real value. Global AG production per year is ~25 metric tons or 800,000,000 toz. At $100 USD/oz, you could buy the entire years production for a mere 80B.
>>
>>61754122
>why I called it overvalued at those prices
Inflation adjusted silver should have been in the $200-$300 range, but this is a very testable hypothesis.

Let's just wait a few months, I expect that COMEX/LBMA will be defunct by then and we will have a new market, hopefully with true price discovery.

If I am right, the silver price will be over $200, even with the DXY at close to the same ratio as it is now. If I am wrong we can enjoy $80/oz cheapies and it will help the newer stackers add to their stacks at a faster rate.

Nothing about the economy, industrial demand, silver availability, or the annual global mining output has changed.

The vaults at COMEX, LBMA, and SHFE have not been loaded up with millions of ounces of new metal, and they all delivered 150 million ounces in total between them last month, with similar numbers so far this month.

So I’m still gonna keep buying until any of the above changes, or until I get priced out.
